00:00You've endorsed a slate of candidates. I wanted to ask you particularly about Daryalisa Avila
00:07Chevalier. Were you aware of some of the tweets that her opponent has been making an issue of?
00:13And did you see anything in those tweets that concerned you or made you think about endorsing
00:18her? When it comes to Daryalisa's campaign for Congress, no, I had not seen those tweets. And
00:23what I've heard from her and what I know a lot of others in the district have heard from her
00:28is that her views have evolved and that the campaign that she's running on is reflective
00:32of what she's going to be fighting for. And frankly, when I see a candidate who has a record
00:37like she does of freeing New Yorkers who are unjustly detained by ICE, of standing up for
00:42the working person who has often been left out of our politics, especially in a district
00:47that really has so many of the same themes that we're speaking of today, a fear of displacement,
00:53a fear of being pushed out of a place that you've helped to build. I think that she would be
00:56an
00:56incredible champion for that district and for the city as a whole.
