00:00I think we can dispense with your services. You can consider yourself downsized.
00:04What does that mean?
00:07Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're exploring the most prolific voice actors who had many, many roles all within
00:13one franchise.
00:14As long as it's contained, franchises include TV shows, entertainment companies, and more.
00:20Old Daffy is sort of a crazy little bird that says that Bugs Bunny is despicable.
00:30Nick Kroll, Big Mouth.
00:41Not only was Kroll wearing many hats in Big Mouth as one of its creators, writers, and producers, but he
00:48decided that wasn't enough.
00:49So he took on much more when it came to voicing the series' characters.
01:07Just out of the main roles alone, Kroll played Nick Burch, Maury, Rick, Coach Steve, Lola, and many more additional
01:15parts.
01:15By the end of Big Mouth in 2025, the voice star had lent his talents to over 80 characters in
01:22the franchise.
01:23Plus, there's also his work on the spin-off show Human Resources, where not only did he reprise his characters
01:28from Big Mouth, but also new ones, including Todd the Zombie.
01:32I don't know why we'd be having a meeting in the break room, but I do believe you.
01:36Jennifer Hale, Marvel.
01:48While Hale is best known for her prolific video game work, which included being the holder of a Guinness World
01:53Record in that category until Lonnie Minella took over in 2024,
01:57she's just as productive when it comes to Marvel's animated works, of course, including their video games.
02:03I was Felicia Hardy in the Black Cat, yeah, in that one, and that was so super, super fun.
02:10And yes, Mary Jane in a couple iterations of Spider-Man in the games and stuff.
02:14Essentially, if you can think of a female superhero or non-powered character in the franchise since the 1994 TV
02:20show Spider-Man the Animated Series,
02:22there's a decent chance Hale has deployed her skills for them.
02:25There's Black Cat slash Felicia Hardy, Julia Carpenter as Spider-Woman, Mary Jane Watson, Carol Danvers, Hela, Mantis, Silver Sable,
02:35Boom Boom, and Jean Grey, to name a fraction of her characters.
02:39He's descended of every sentinel from Master Mold to Nimrod, mutated, evolved, born.
02:46Seth MacFarlane, Family Guy.
02:48I wonder where the shampoos are around here.
02:53I said, I wonder where the shampoos are around here.
02:57Before Kroll was co-creating, running, and performing in animated shows, there was MacFarlane in Family Guy.
03:04Out of the main Griffin family, he's the voice of three of the six members, those being Peter, Stewie, and
03:10Brian.
03:11And by the time I tell her, I'll have impressed her so much that the dog thing won't even matter.
03:14Yeah, well, good luck with that.
03:15You know, I like your delusion, Brian.
03:18Most people would say, I lost, I give up.
03:20But you, you just keep trying.
03:22While this would be overwhelming enough for many performers, it doesn't stop there.
03:27MacFarlane has also voiced Quagmire, Dr. Hartman, Carter Pewterschmidt, Seamus, Ida Davis, until Jamie Clayton took over the role from
03:35season 20, Tom Tucker, and many more recurring characters in one-off roles.
03:40I'm gonna quit smoking and start vaping.
03:47New Year's resolution.
03:49How about Quagmire?
03:51I'm gonna get unbanned from Hinge.
03:53All right.
03:54MacFarlane continued this prolific streak by also voicing Tim the Bear and other characters in the spin-off series, The
04:00Cleveland Show.
04:01Do one line after the other, or do you all do all one and then go back and do the
04:04other one?
04:05When I do a table read, yeah, I have to jump back and forth.
04:07It's like, hey, what's going on?
04:08Oh, hello, Fat Man.
04:09Oh, Stewie, how are you?
04:10Alan Tudyk, DC.
04:12I know, I know, but I thought maybe we could make an exception.
04:19Or not.
04:20If you're a big fan of the Harley Quinn animated show, then you know Tudyk's talents thoroughly.
04:25While he's best known for his work as Clayface, he also voices another regular character with the Joker.
04:39Then there are the smaller roles, including Condiment King, Ocean Master, Calendar Man, and more that he voiced, even reprising
04:47them in the spin-off series, Kite Man Hell Yeah.
04:50We're looking for her master controller, Clayface.
04:53Found it?
04:54That's a brush.
04:55Huh, looks more like this.
04:57Oh.
04:58Ha, then this must be the associate controller.
05:00Those aren't Tudyk's only DC roles.
05:03Among others, he's played Green Arrow, The Flash, and Superman.
05:06Tudyk is also prolific at Disney, taking roles in their franchises of Frozen, Moana, and Wreck-It Ralph, among many
05:14more.
05:14Speaking of live-action actors who are prolific as Disney voice actors, there's also John Ratzenberger, who's had over 21
05:21roles with the company.
05:22Pardon me, I hate to break up the staff meeting, but they're here!
05:26Roosie Taylor, Disney
05:28My one true love.
05:32I'll find him someday.
05:34He's out there.
05:35I just know it.
05:37The undisputed queen of Disney voice acting, Taylor took on the mighty mantle of Minnie Mouse in 1986 and portrayed
05:44her through various media until the actor passed away in 2019.
05:48Famously, Taylor even married Mickey Mouse's voice actor, Wayne Allwine, which is especially adorable.
05:55It was just a total friendship.
05:57The next thing you knew, we were just sort of like always together.
06:00Yet, since she's in the video, Minnie wasn't Taylor's only role at the House of Mouse.
06:05In DuckTales Alone, she portrayed Donald Duck's triplet nephews, Huey, Dewey, and Louie, and their friend, Webby Vanderquack.
06:12We could, uh, hide it in the vault.
06:16Yeah, and we'll dress him up like a boy and keep him in our room, just like before.
06:21Other Disney roles Taylor had included Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and various other characters from the sequels, later depictions of Lucky
06:29and Nanny from 101 Dalmatians, Daisy Duck in 1999's Fantasia 2000, and many more.
06:36Let's see.
06:37Oh! Thou knowest the mask of night is on my face?
06:40Oh! Else would a maiden blush bepaint my cheek for that which thou hast heard me speak tonight.
06:45Hank Azaria, The Simpsons.
06:47I have an important announcement.
06:49I have just perfected an acid-firing superdrill, which can cut through anything.
06:55It's cool!
06:56With one of the richest side-character depths in TV show history, fans of The Simpsons can offer a lot
07:02of thanks to Azaria for bringing them to life.
07:05After all, he's voiced a massive portion of them.
07:08After taking over from Christopher Collins for Moe, he's also portrayed Chief Wiggum, Apu until Azaria stepped down in 2020,
07:16Super Nintendo Chalmers, sorry, Superintendent Chalmers, Dr. Nick Rivera, and many, many more.
07:24Skinner! I am outraged that you've kept this from me!
07:28You were supposed to call as soon as the new scoreboard was in!
07:31Tell me, does it play that song, Charge?
07:33Of course we can't talk about prolific side-character actors on The Simpsons without mentioning Harry Shearer.
07:40His roles include Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Smithers, Otto, and many more.
07:45So, you want some of my electricity, do you?
07:50Well, for once, the rich white man is in control.
07:54Finally, we can't forget Dan Castanlonetta's work either, which includes Homer, Abe, Mayor Quimby, and Barney, to mention a few.
08:02I ate all your tongue depressors.
08:05I thought they were popsicle sticks.
08:08That's alright, Homer, you just take your pants down now.
08:12Well, I already have.
08:13Alright.
08:14Matt Stone and Trey Parker, South Park.
08:17I have this strange feeling that one of you is going to totally betray me.
08:24Alright, whoever is thinking of betraying Kyle, that is not cool.
08:28Even before Kroll and McFarlane, there was Stone and Parker creating their own show with South Park and lending their
08:34voices to the main cast.
08:36Fun fact, when portraying children, the duo typically records the lines within their normal range and the pitch is later
08:43altered during editing to make them sound younger.
08:57Kicking off with Stone, three of his main characters include Kyle, Kenny, and Butters.
09:02Yet, he's also done work for lesser roles, including Craig, Gerald Broflovsky, and Saddam Hussein.
09:08For Parker, his main roles include Stan, Cartman, Randy, and Mr. Garrison.
09:14While his smaller characters are Mr. Mackie, Mr. Hankey, and Jimmy.
09:18Yeah, one time we read a quote where she said that, I think shows like South Park are the reason
09:23for all the negativity and cynicism in our culture today.
09:26Corey Burton, Disney.
09:38An unsung hero of the Disney acting pantheon, Burton has been involved with the company for decades, allowing him to
09:46rack up a massive number of characters that he's portrayed, even excluding Marvel or Star Wars properties.
09:52Oh, I love that idea. So, so, so Cad Bane became, became a very sinister Peter Lorre, but in the
10:00old West.
10:02For starters, since around 1977, the actor has been the voice of Captain Hook from Peter Pan across many shows,
10:09films, theme park attractions, and video games.
10:12Good heavens, run, run, run for your lives, it's a little girl.
10:21Other Disney characters that he's taken on include Dale of Chippendale fame, Donald Duck's uncle Professor Ludwig von Drake, Gaetan
10:30Molle Moliere from the 2001 film Atlantis The Lost Empire, Zeus in the 1998 animated series Hercules, and so many
10:38more.
10:38So, the original Dale was based on Alfalfa Switzer, who I think came from Tulsa, Oklahoma, or something somewhere like
10:48that.
10:49Mel Blanc, Looney Tunes.
10:51I already wished for a pirate ship. After I sink a certain pesky rabbit, I'll come back and pick ya
10:59up!
11:01You're despicable!
11:03Often titled as the man of a thousand voices, Blanc didn't get that reputation for no reason.
11:09After making his name in radio, he moved into film production in 1937, creating his lifelong association with the Looney
11:17Tunes brand.
11:18Daffy Duck, Foghorn Leghorn, Sylvester and Tweety, Marvin the Martian, and most famously, Bugs Bunny, are just the hors d
11:26'oeuvres of Blanc's incredible depth of character work in the franchise.
11:30Oh, I'm working for rabbits.
11:34And the rabbit he was looking for was the most famous of all characters, Bugs Bunny.
11:38Hey, thanks very much, Doc. I'm glad you like him, too.
11:42He continued working in Hollywood and Looney Tunes right up until he died in 1989.
11:47Yet even after, Blanc remains forever tied to the franchise by having the phrase,
11:52That's all, folks, written upon his headstone.
11:55I like the sound of that.
11:59That's all, folks.
12:01Before we unveil our top pick, here are a few honorable mentions.
12:06Tom Kenny, SpongeBob SquarePants.
12:08On top of the title role and several main roles, he also played a smorgasbord of side roles.
12:14Oh, he looks like an angel.
12:20Tabitha St. Germain, My Little Pony.
12:22Best known as Rarity, St. Germain has also played Princess Luna, Spike, and more.
12:28Coming!
12:29Welcome to Carousel Boutique, where every garment is chic, unique, and magnifique.
12:34Nolan North, Marvel.
12:36Best known for video game voice work, North is a phenomena with dozens of Marvel roles.
12:41Well, you've gone to war for far less.
12:43Maybe.
12:44But I'd never drag the X-Men down with me.
12:47Fine.
12:48Forget the X-Men.
12:49I'll do it alone.
12:51Seth Green, Robot Chicken.
12:53Due to being behind the show's creation, Green has voiced hundreds of its characters.
12:58My lord?
12:59Storm for a bit.
13:00My lord?
13:01Yup.
13:02My lord?
13:02Uh-huh.
13:03My lord?
13:04Yo.
13:04My lord!

13:31Jim Cummings, Disney.
13:34What could be more important than a little something to eat?
13:40Or perhaps a little large or something?
13:44With over 620 acting credits, a hefty portion of those appearances can be tied to Disney productions,
13:50especially as one of his earliest roles was in the 1985 puppet show Dumbo Circus.
13:56Yet in 1988, Cummings would take over a role that would become synonymous with his career,
14:02that of Winnie the Pooh.
14:03Soon after, he took on the mantle of Tigger 2.
14:17Yet that's not the only Disney series that Cummings had dipped his vocal cords in.
14:21He's also portrayed Darkwing Duck, the villainous Pete, Ed the Hyena in 1994's The Lion King,
14:28and Scar in its sequel, among many others.
14:31Essentially, if you watched any Disney production in the past 40 years,
14:34you've very likely heard Cummings' vocals and not even realized it.
14:39Wait, will Jax realize that his grandpa was Winnie the Pooh?
14:42I don't think he's realized yet.
14:44Yeah, I don't think it's come yet.
14:45Yes.
14:46No, but he's looking at Pop Pop. Look at that.
14:48He just thinks I'm weird.
14:49If you could be a voice actor, but could only work in one franchise for life,
14:53what would you choose? Let us know below.
14:55Hello!
