SAN FRANCISCO DE MACORÍS.– Diversas organizaciones populares, estudiantiles y juntas de vecinos de la zona de Cuesta Blanca y sectores aledaños se declararon en "lucha permanente", advirtiendo sobre el inicio de una serie de protestas y movilizaciones si las autoridades correspondientes no atienden a sus reclamos de obras básicas de infraestructura.

En una rueda de prensa encabezada por la Articulación Popular Caamañista, junto a representantes de las juntas de vecinos de Villa Hortensia, Villa Faro y el sector Los Toros, así como del Frente Estudiantil Revolucionario (FER), los comunitarios manifestaron su descontento por el estancamiento de proyectos vitales para el desarrollo y bienestar de sus comunidades.

01:33The construction of an aqueduct for all these communities
01:41Because we have understood that the level or population growth of all these communities
01:51He demands that the Dominican State build an aqueduct
01:58Due to the ongoing crisis situation with the water supply
02:05But we are also demanding that the water project that INAPA started in Villa Hortensia
02:17It has been concluded because not even INAPA has made the connection of more than 6,000 meters of pipes
02:28drinking water that was installed more than two years ago
02:31And we have spoken with the main executives of INAPA here in San Francisco de Macorí
