00:00I don't believe Mike Brown believes what he said. Yesterday on Shine Time, I destroyed the officials for game two.
00:07I thought what Tony Brothers and his crew did with the Mitch T that was eventually rescinded and the third
00:13foul on Cat or the fourth foul on Cat on Friday night, I thought that was garbage, sabotage, atrocious, pathetic,
00:21embarrassing, disgraceful officiating. I don't think the officiating was a problem last night. Obviously the Wemby play with Brunson was
00:29atrocious. I didn't like when they said Champagny when Brunson was in the range of the shots and didn't give
00:36him space. The Castle play was a bit much, obviously. Everything else, frankly, was on the Knicks just being off,
00:44the Knicks being sloppy. The Spurs being able to attack and get to the free throw line and what they
00:50did with Wemby and what they did with Castle. And I'm guessing Mike Brown didn't either. That's right out of
00:55the Phil Jackson playbook of, okay,
00:59let's make sure that the refs for the next game know that I'm not happy. Let's see if I can
01:04get some calls. By the way, the Knicks still had a shot to win. So if anything, I know Mike
01:12Brown does not believe that. I think he's working the officials for the next game. And my worry level in
01:19terms of the Knicks winning a title, I'm just not worried. Last night was the worst game they played since
01:25the night of the NFL draft.
01:26And it came down to the final couple possessions. Now all the heats on Mike Brown, all the heats on
01:32the officials instead of Carl Anthony Towns and Mikael Bridges and everything that goes into the mix. So I actually
01:39thought this was a Phil Jackson-esque master stroke by Mike Brown because I had no issue with the officiating
01:46for the most part last night.
