01:06at saka po siyempre sa government.
01:08So, diyan po pumapasok yung mga partnerships natin with the likes of DOST.

01:13So, how do you provide platform for them to be known internationally?

01:18So, dito rin po pumapasok yung partnership natin.
01:21Example po natin, yung recent natin is with Brunei.
01:24So, with Brunei partnership,
01:26the main goal of the partnership is actually cross-border collaboration.
01:30So, ang nangyayari po dito,
01:32pag nakikipag-collaborate tayo sa ibang bansa,
01:35we're opening up opportunities
01:37na tayo as Philippine innovators or mga startup,
01:41makapasok tayo sa mga countries like Brunei
01:44para makapag-open tayo ng businesses there for market expansion.
01:48At the same time,
01:49ang ginagawa din po ni TechShake ay tinutulungan natin
01:51yung mga iba-ibang countries who are interested to enter the Philippines,
01:55especially our neighboring countries through the ASEAN network po natin.
01:59So, si Brunei wanted to do market expansion here sa Philippines.
02:04And through TechShake,
02:05tutulungan po natin sila with our soft landing programs.
02:08So, ito po,
02:09i-introduce natin sa kanila yung mga tamang stakeholders
02:12how to check yung local landscape natin,
02:15if it ba yung gusto nilang mga products or services
02:17na ipapasok dito sa bansa.
02:19The same way,
02:20natutulungan po nila tayo if we want to collaborate.
02:23So, maganda itong opportunity for all of our founders,
02:27especially tech founders natin,
02:28at saka yung innovators po natin sa Philippines.
02:31Okay, which sectors or actors here in the Philippines
02:33saan pwede ma-involve dito sa partnership na ito?
02:35So, sa partnership po na ito,
02:37actually maraming sectors will come into play.
02:40So, one of them is actually the FinTech natin
02:42or financial technology.
02:43We're talking about,
02:45siyempre familiar po kayo dito sa mga Gcash,
02:47mga digital banks, di ba?
02:50So, marami pong mga transactions or payments
02:52ang magaganap if marami rin businesses
02:54na magsa-start dito sa Philippines.
02:57And dun naman po sa isang sector
02:59na we feel a bit more underserved.
03:01So, Philippines is known for our food and agriculture.
03:05Okay.
03:05So, marami rin po tayong food tech dito.
03:07And agriculture, we're known for our mangoes,
03:08coconut, pineapple.
03:09So, marami pong isang industry called halal industry.
03:13Okay.
03:13So, halal, ito po talagang nagkikater doon sa ating mga Muslim
03:17na mga countries or friends, right?
03:19So, ang pwede po natin gawin is look at that industry.
03:22Maybe we could do some innovation in terms of food production,
03:26in terms of introducing other types of technology,
03:29emerging technologies such as AI,
03:32nandiyan na po tayo sa age ng mga drones, mga IoT sensors.
03:35So, yun po, malaki po siyang market na we could start with Brunei.
03:39As a testbed.
03:40Kasi po, they're a smaller country.
03:42They're known for oil and gas.
03:43Pero ngayon, meron din po silang strategic or diversification,
03:48economic diversification po nila,
03:50na pumunta na sa digital economy.
03:52And matutulungan po natin sila.
03:54Kasi Philippines already started there.
03:56And we're growing and accelerating the industry.
03:59Okay.
04:00Ba't mahalaga yung mga international collaboration na ganito?
04:03So, yun nga po.
04:04Yung importance po dito is,
04:06I'd say three points,
04:07economic opportunities,
04:08pinakauna.
04:10Syempre po,
04:11pag pumunta sila dito sa Philippines,
04:12kasama po dyan,
04:14yung magiging mas credible tayo as a country
04:16for more investments to come in.
04:18So, lalo na po yung foreign investments.
04:20And after foreign investments,
04:22syempre,
04:22nagkakaroon po tayo ng opportunities for employment.
04:25And more than the economic growth,
04:27I also want to highlight yung sharing natin,
04:31knowledge sharing,
04:32at saka knowledge transfer of technology.

04:37pag pumunta sila dito sa atin,
04:38we collaborate with them.

04:40we share our ideas,
04:42we share our talent,

04:48is yung sa Japan.

04:50Yung dun sa Metro Subway natin.

05:05we try to grow yung pong talent pool natin

07:18So, diyan po tayo nagkaroon ng mga collaboration naman
07:22or ng mga engagement with those
07:24who are interested in the AI space.

07:29Every October, ginagawa po natin yan.
07:31It's one of the biggest.
07:32It's a premier innovation conference
07:34happening in Makati.
07:36So, magsasign up lang naman po tayo.
07:38We have around 1,000 attendees every year.

07:42So, mix po yan ng mga startups,
07:45investors, government.
07:46Lagi pong nagsusupport saan.
