00:08Sharing the news was so scary, actually, because you're really putting yourself out there.
00:13I hid the pregnancy for quite a bit.
00:17So it was while it was like so great, but it was also so nerve wracking.
00:22And I think that with the In the City girls, it's been it's been really, really nice.
00:27I think especially with Lindsay, our friendship has been pretty rocky.
00:33But I think at the end of the day, she's a mom and she's so, so excited for other people
00:39to experience what she has.
00:41And that really comes through, you know, and it's, you know, it makes me happy that there's something there that
00:49she's happy for me.
00:50I audibly gasped when I saw you pop into the trailer for this show.
00:54Why was now the right time to return to reality TV?
00:57I was so excited.
00:58So I, I kind of jumped scared as well.
01:02I was just like, because it was like a summer house, some like mid season, something else like, wait, what?
01:08I forgot.
01:09Like, and so I jumped scared myself.
01:12I think, you know, I was a late addition to, to the cast.
01:17It happened at that soft bar opening, friends and family, where, you know, they had wrapped filming for summer house.
01:27And, you know, some of the producers were there, obviously, and they came out, said hi.
01:33I, I introduced them to Owen.
01:35And then that's kind of how the conversation started.
01:37Um, you know, they were happy to see me happy.
01:41They were happy to meet Owen and, you know, see if, if I would be open to it.
01:47Um, and then two weeks later, the cameras were up.
01:49So, um, I, I just, I felt like more secure in myself, I think, like regardless of having a partner,
01:57um, to join the cast with me.
01:59I think it was, I needed the break and I, you know, I feel a lot more confident, uh, in
02:05myself now.
02:06When cameras did pick up for in the city, you and Lindsay obviously were not on the best terms.
02:10Were you aware of this like list of infractions you've been keeping on you?
02:16So I, I didn't, I didn't know the extent of her sort of coldness.
02:22I, you know, I didn't even see her at that, that first, the soft bar event.
02:26Um, and I thought, and I asked all my friends too, because the, I didn't watch Summer House that, that
02:35when I was like partially on it for a little, I didn't watch that season.
02:38And that's on me because obviously most people, especially our fans are going to assume that I have, um, had
02:44I watched that, I would have immediately been like, oh my God, I understand why she would be upset with
02:49me.
02:50Not just because of the comment I made about Carl and the gender reveal, but because of the single momming
02:56it up comment that was made.
02:58I could see, especially how it was put out there, that would be upsetting.
03:04Um, I would have been way more forthcoming with an apology or an olive branch.
03:08And that's on me for not knowing, but then to have more of a list, I, I, I was truly,
03:18I was truly in shock by that.
03:21Um, and obviously I didn't know that it was a, in her notes app that it was written out.
03:26And I didn't, I didn't know that she had already talked to Kyle about it, um, at, at the first
03:32hangout, uh, that we were filming.
03:34So that was, it was, it was disappointing because I want us to move forward.
03:40Um, so that, that was just a bit of a bummer, but I think, you know, in the conversation that
03:47I had directly with her, I, I was trying to keep things positive.
03:54Yeah, as positive as possible and try to move past some of like, I mean, some things from six years
04:02ago, it's just kind of crazy to me still, but the list is a list and you have to address
04:08it.
04:09Yeah.
04:09Well, I was going to say, you know, this week's episode, we do see that sit down.
04:13You guys do agree to kind of agree to move forward.
04:16Like, I do want to hear about baby Gemma.

04:25Of course, that sit down is then immediately followed by you getting confronted by Amanda and Kyle.
04:31Do you find Amanda to be one of Lindsay's minions and where does your friendship with her stand today?
04:37Um, it's funny because I, I, I never before would have put Amanda in that box, that minion box.
04:45Um, because Lindsay and Amanda, like they've always had to work on their friendship as well.
04:51There's, there's been stuff with them.
04:53Uh, but going into filming in the city, I, I found that they were way more buddy, buddy than ever
05:02before.
05:02So, and I, and I, and I wasn't privy to what happened over the summer.
05:06I think, you know, Lindsay was really there for her because of the Kyle of it all.
05:10Um, not knowing what we know now, um, and Lindsay sure as hell didn't know.
05:16So I think she was trying to be a good friend to, to Amanda and that carried its way into
05:21the city.
05:21So I was, I was shocked that there was like such a allegiance there.
05:27Um, and you know, um, but with like Kyle, I, you know, his, his savior complex runs deep.
05:36So I think I'm not, I'm not shocked that I was getting heat from, from both of them.
05:42Um, since all of that, you know, Amanda's reached out to acknowledge the place she was at at the time.
05:48And, you know, apologize, not just to me, but to Owen as well, just for some of the things that
05:54she said, which I appreciate, you know.
05:57Um, so I think that we're not, we're not friends, but I can, I can respect someone who is going
06:06to reach out and apologize the way that she did.
06:09Speaking of Amanda, we see her meet up with Wes and Sierra in this week's episode, which, you know, that's
06:14all been, it was a bit of a tough watch.

06:39that breaking of the fourth wall because I was beside myself when I saw it.
06:44Did you, did you believe her when she said, no, I was not crushing on him.
06:48This is my friend.
06:49I go back and forth with that because of the, the feeling of the timeline.
06:54I know I think everyone wants the timeline, but that way we filmed in October and I, you know, I
07:00watched, I wasn't watching summer house when I needed to, but now I'm watching summer house.
07:04Um, and I don't know what feels like there was feels there or it feels like subconscious feels.
07:14There was definitely something there, um, whether or not she wants to, to face it or admit it.
07:21I could have been, I could have been, I don't know, it could have been just like super friendly, but
07:27I know you could, you could say that you were thinking you were friends, but you don't have that many
07:36guy friends.
07:37I know you didn't have that many guy friends, you were, you were leaning on him as, as, as more
07:43than, than that.
07:44We all know how the summer house cast has been handling all that drama.
07:47How has like the overall vibe with your cast and in the city been handling everything?
07:52And do you, do you see a path forward for Amanda and in the city?
07:55And if so, do you think West will be by her side?
07:59West don't want anything to do with that, but, um, and it's, it's true.
08:04Um, but with the, in the city group, I think that we were filming the dark cloud that was Kyle
08:14and Amanda's relationship coming to an end.
08:17And I think it, it's kind of crazy to see some of the stuff that, that happened in the relationship
08:25happened on summer house.
08:26And I'm like, we're all like, Whoa, the exact same is going to come into the city.
08:31So like, will people even want to tune in at that point to something that they know is going to
08:37better, lack of a better phrase, like crash and burn.
08:40Like, you know, what the outcome is, you know, it's not good.
08:43Um, and a lot of, you know, a lot of the, even the guys on the show, they, they were
08:47rooting for that marriage to somehow survive.
08:50It doesn't, we know that now.
08:51Um, so it's, it is crazy.
08:54Um, I think that Amanda doesn't have great relationships with our cast.
09:01Like, I think Lindsay's mentioned that she wants to speak with her.
09:05We have a mutual friend, a mutual best friend in Katie.
09:10Um, I think that for me, and this is because this is how I was raised, you just don't give
09:17up on people.
09:18Um, I think that she has a ton of growing to do and a ton of learning.
09:24I wish she would do that without Wes.
09:26I would not, I would not want that, like coupling to, to be in my face on this.
09:34Cause I will have an opinion.
09:35I will think I will.
09:36And I, you know, me, I'll just, you know, put my foot in it.
09:40Um, so I will say, you know, because I wish she would just do something.

10:07Shifting gears a little bit while we're talking about relationships and everything,
10:10there have clearly been a lot of rumors about you and Owen and the timeline with his.
10:16Yeah, no, the timeline comes back again.
10:18All roads lead back to the timeline.
10:20Is there anything you can clear up about that?
10:23Well, yeah, of course.
10:24Like, where do I get?
10:27The thing is, you know, I think that's part of like the reason why Amanda reached out and apologized.
10:30I think she had her own sort of, she believed a lot of it.
10:37Um, she, like, you know, she also didn't believe that someone who was still married can move,
10:44be broken up and move on until she found herself in the same position.
10:50I mean, I wouldn't say our relationships are the same, but, um, she found herself like,
10:54oh, I understand, you know, you, the separation takes time, a divorce takes time.
11:00Um, there, there was no overlap.
11:02Owen is not a cheater and I'm not a homewrecker.
11:06Um, I, I asked him every question under the sun.
11:10I knew that he was still married.
11:12Um, technically and obviously I was like, you know, what the divorce, when is that going
11:20to happen?
11:21And unfortunately it takes like a six month separation before New York state allows you
11:26to go ahead and file the divorce paperwork.
11:28So like a lot of people don't know those things.
11:31And a lot of people have even said like, oh, like he's just going home to his wife.
11:34And I'm just like, guys, why?
11:36Like, no, no.
11:39Um, like I would, I was like meeting his parents, you know, um, last summer and people would be
11:45like, oh, like, you know, he's going to fly back to his wife.
11:48And I'm just like, no, like we live together.
11:50Like we have lived together.
11:52And I don't know if he's just, he moved on quickly.
11:57Yeah.
11:58But you know, everyone's, everyone could say that like Kyle and Amanda, like they're,
12:04their marriage was sort of falling apart before they actually got separated.
12:09Like these, this, what happens at this age?
12:13It's definitely not an in your twenties problem.
12:15He was separated for months before we, we started dating.
12:20Um, well, I have one last quick question for you because you guys have such a great cast,
12:23but if you could pick anyone else out of the summer house universe, anyone who's been in,
12:28even if it's just for a season, a little bit, who would you want an update on, on in the
