THREE-YEAR-OLD GIRL HELPS DAD CHANGE CAR TYRE

A three-year-old girl is winning hearts online after being filmed helping her father change a car tyre, confidently taking part in the repair and showing enthusiasm.

The video features little Lasca, who turned three in April, eagerly assisting her dad, Boone Campbell, as he works on a vehicle at their home in California, USA.

According to her 33 year old mother, Laura La Rue, Lasca has always loved getting involved in hands-on activities and began actively participating in family projects when she was between 18 months and two years old.

Boone, 40, works as a lobster fisherman and is known within the family for his practical skills, regularly repairing vehicles, maintaining equipment, working on boats and tackling outdoor projects.

Growing up around those activities has fuelled Lasca's curiosity and desire to learn.

Laura, 33, who owns natural dye clothing business Ride or Dye Ojai, said she was not surprised by her daughter's enthusiasm in the video, explaining that Boone has spent years encouraging Lasca to join in with real-life tasks.

Whether helping in the garden, caring for animals, cooking, fixing things or taking part in outdoor projects, Lasca is always keen to lend a hand.

Laura said Lasca "genuinely loves having a job to do" and takes her responsibilities seriously despite her young age.

Laura believes her daughter's confidence comes from being trusted to participate in everyday experiences rather than simply observing them.

The clip has delighted viewers online, with many praising the youngster's independence, confidence and eagerness to learn practical skills from an early age.

Laura La Rue said: "Honestly, it feels like she started helping as soon as she could walk.

" Realistically, she probably began actively participating in projects around 18 months to two years old.

"She has always wanted to be involved in whatever the adults are doing and has never been content just sitting on the sidelines watching.

"To be honest, I wasn't surprised at all. Boone has sent me countless videos over the years of Lasca enthusiastically helping with all sorts of projects.

"She genuinely loves having a job to do and takes her responsibilities very seriously.

"Seeing her helping change a tyre just felt like another day in the life of Lasca.

"More than anything, it made me smile because I love seeing her confidence and excitement when she's learning new things and spending time with her dad.

"She has always loved being involved in whatever is happening around her.

"Whether it's working in the garden, helping care for animals, cooking, fixing things or assisting with outdoor projects, she wants to be right in the middle of it.

"We joke that she was born wanting a job.

"Thankfully, we always have plenty of projects going on, so there is never a shortage of opportunities for her to lend a hand.

"She's happiest when she's outside getting dirty and learning something new.

"Boone and I have had a really special co-parenting journey, and I think that's a big part of this story.

"He is an incredible father, and honestly, I learn from him all the time.

"One of my favourite things about Boone is the way he encourages Lasca's curiosity and independence.

"He's incredibly patient with her and gives her the space to explore, learn, make mistakes and figure things out for herself.

"I think a lot of her confidence comes from being trusted to participate in real-life experiences from such a young age.

"She isn't just watching life happen around her, she's actively part of it, and I think that's something really special."
