02:08It's one other than two years. Now, if you were to be running a race, or you did PE, or

02:28But seriously, let's say we walk a long way, and it was hot outside. You usually feel something.
02:35Tired? Yes. But what else? Hot? Yes. There's something else I don't think you'll say.
02:44Dehydrated? Dehydrated. Yes. Yes, indeed. And part of dehydration is feeling thirsty, right? Feeling thirsty.
02:51Now, what if I told you that in your dehydration and thirst that I had exactly what would cure just
03:01that? Wow. Water. Oh, but here's the thing.
03:07What if I only told you about it, like, oh, this can cure your thirst. Water is great. It can
03:14help you when you're thirsty and dehydrated.
03:16But I don't give it to you, or I don't give you the opportunity to come to me and receive
03:23it. Will that help you? No, it won't, right?
03:27What do you have to do in order for you, for your thirst to be quenched?
03:34You've got to drink the water, right? You've got to drink the water. And you have to receive this gift
03:40that is before you.
03:42And I'm giving it to you, right? Here, I'm going to give you one bottle of water.
03:46One bottle of water. You can drink that. Do it later, though.
03:51But this takes us to our memory verse.
03:54If you look at our love, please put it on the screen.
03:56Jesus, in this verse, okay, before we say it together, Jesus, in this verse, was in the temple in Jerusalem.
04:05And when a large crowd was there, he wanted to make the point that the only way to truly quench
04:13your thirst
04:13is not to drink this kind of water, but we will see momentarily.
04:19Let's read together. It says,
04:21Jesus stood up and cried out.
04:25If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
04:31Come to who?
04:33To Jesus. Amen.
04:35Because Jesus is the one who can really help us when we're thirsty.
04:41Not this kind of thirsty. That's good.
04:44And I want you to hold on to it and drink it when you are thirsty.
04:47But truly, the desires of our hearts and our thirst for whatever it is out there that we can't have
04:58even water much for us
05:00can only be found when we come to Jesus and drink.
05:04Not drinking like this water, but going to Jesus by faith, believing in him, obeying his word, and living always
05:13for Jesus.
05:13Okay? So I want you to pick up your bottle of water here so that you don't forget it.
05:19Let's hold our hats. Let's bow our hats. Let's close our eyes.
05:25Let's read up and say, Heavenly Father, thank you for your Son, Jesus.
05:35Help me, Lord Jesus, to believe in you, to trust in you, and drink from you.
