The Elder Scrolls: Online startet mit der Einführung von Seasons in ein neues Kapitel des MMORPGs. Den Anfang macht ein neuer Handlungsstrang zur Diebesgilde, der auf der ursprünglichen Erzählung von 2016 aufbaut. Bethesda schreibt dazu:      » Im Zuge einer neuen Handlung und an der Seite neuer Charaktere tut ihr euch mit der Gilde zusammen, um gegen das ruchlose Koldane-Kartell vorzugehen und nach Dolchsturz zu expandieren. Saison Eins bringt viele neue Abenteuer und dauerhafte Systeme mit sich, die neue Möglichkeiten bieten werden, mit Charakteren, Gilden und der Umgebung zu interagieren. «      ESO Season 1 Die Rückkehr der Diebesgilde startet auf allen Plattformen am 8. Juli 2026 .
