00:35because the supreme court is about to come down with a ruling that um is really gonna put democrats

01:08the hit coming from the supreme court check it out it weren't they gonna also expedite the um uh what

01:16was the voting rights and uh yeah i mean well by the way total side note on that just to

01:21get on the

01:21record on this i have been told by reliable sources that that that decision is done and that the

01:26minority is slow walking the dissent so that states can't uh and and and states do not have time to

01:35redistrict ahead of it but i have been told very reliably that the minority is slow walking that

01:40dissent all right wait hold on a second because i don't think i've read that anywhere that is news

01:44oh yeah okay so just three two one sean is there some politics being played at the supreme court

01:53insiders insist that the minority is slow walking the dissent on the voting rights case because they

02:00are trying to ensure that states won't have enough time to redistrict ahead of the 2028 midterms

02:05wow uh clip and there you go okay well let's uh let's move on to mom donnie boom the supreme

02:17court is

02:18set to strike down the voting rights act which i'm gonna get into a little bit more of what that

02:26will

02:26actually mean in terms of the number of seats that were projected to gain because of that and how many

02:33the democrats will be projected to lose but i also want to play this clip from um steve bannon's show

02:41with sean spicer talking about this a little bit more check it out that is real news let's put that

02:48map up sean what are you talking about about the supreme court and this thing is going to rock the

02:53political world hopefully today so as you remember several months back the court heard this louisiana

02:58case on the register on the voting rights act uh and and by anyone's account uh who's a court watcher

03:05the court was very clearly in favor of louisiana case that they couldn't redistrict uh they couldn't

03:12use the voting rights act that they're about to throw out that additional section that's part of it

03:15uh for pre-clearance and otherwise so the no one thought this was going to be a problem right it's

03:21either six three uh or five four but i don't think there's anybody that's watched doesn't think

03:26the question that i started probing around and asking is why why are we not getting this decision

03:31and here we are today another day when we expect decisions and nothing and the answer i got back

03:36from a very reliable source was the minority on the court is slow walking their dissent why does that

03:42matter well until they put the dissent out there the court can't issue the opinion why does that matter

03:47because as time gets ticks away states are then limited in their ability to potentially redistrict

03:54that will cost republicans the opportunity to pick up seats so right now sure maybe louisiana

03:59picks up one seat but states like alabama and others when i've confirmed this with several folks

04:04in the key states especially southern states that abide by the voting rights act they're basically

04:09telling me i'm sorry the clock has run out we don't have the time to do it for this cycle

04:13yes we'll

04:14get it done for 2030 or 2028 but not in time for this midterm this court is no knows what

04:20they're

04:21doing the liberals on the court are intentionally slow walking the dissent so that it will not be

04:27issued in time for many republican states to actually go in and redistrict based on the decision

04:34do you have any idea from your your reporting of checking of what is like the hard because there'll be

04:42enormous pressure obviously what's the hard out de santis is calling a special session of the

04:48because he's had a belly full of it he's calling a special session of the florida legislature i think

04:53for the last for the 28th of uh of um of april on tuesday and we have a huge event

05:00on on sunday that

05:02moe's going to be on we're already sold up we're expanding the number of tickets for the great thank

05:06you to the grassroots virginia's on tuesday florida's coming later what is the update sean that you know

05:12that if the supreme court does it the southern states can still do this because i think you're talking

05:16eight or nine seats aren't you yes yeah well florida might still be able to pull it off they've got

05:21bigger problem with their state senate in coordination with de santis but louisiana will

05:25probably pick up one seat i think alabama's probably missed the boat for this cycle um and and you start

05:31to go through i think that might be it steve i mean louisiana will jam through their one and then

05:36in my conversations with other states that would have the potential to use this ruling to redistrict

05:42i don't know that another state that i've talked to is telling me that they will have that you know

05:47it's it's it's possible but right now many are telling me that it's too late based on their

05:52legislative calendar and that's the key thing if the court runs the clock out and many of these

05:58legislatures go out of session they're screwed and the court the minority the liberals on the court

06:02know exactly what they're doing so there you have it good but then also a little bit of bad news

06:10right because regardless we're picking up seats regardless it just may not be this cycle uh now

06:18de santis is set to have us pick up some seats and then of course you heard louisiana there so

06:24that's

06:25some fantastic news uh hopefully some of these other states can um get it together it sounds like

06:30alabama is not going to be one that is going to uh be able to do that in time that's

06:37okay listen

06:38a double a a win is a win in my in my humble opinion a win is a win sure

06:45you might have won the

06:47battle now but we won the war okay make no mistake about it we have won the war okay um

06:55especially if

06:56we end up actually keeping the house so that democrats can't go rampant uh in the meantime in

07:02between time that is also going to be a major key as well so we also got to make sure

07:06we show up in

07:07these midterms baby uh now i do want to play this other clip here for you all as a reminder

07:14and a

07:15refresher on how many seats we could possibly gain via this ruling from cnn check it out the supreme

07:23court is considering what could really be the end of the voting rights act which would protect minority

07:29groups so you don't have a state that's half black for example that elects only one congressional

07:34member and everybody else goes to the republicans uh that would represent that population in some way so

07:40uh if that is gutted democrats could lose 19 seats this would be a huge amount but this is also

07:48a measure

07:48of how much the white house is concerned about this because donald trump knows if the democrats get

07:53the house again there could be new investigations just like last time there could be a new impeachment

07:59there could be a lot of impediment to these plans that right now the republicans in the house and senate

08:04are letting run like a freight train 19 possible seats that democrats could lose 19

08:14incredible number right there absolutely incredible if i were a democrat i would be shaking in my boots

08:2319 19 i could possibly lose 19 yeah i probably know we're probably not winning the house for quite a

08:34we are not winning the house for quite some time and listen once we get john thune voted out and

08:42murkowski oh the senate is gonna be full ago full ago republican right because basically those are like the

08:50only two individuals that are really really stopping it john thune of course being the head of the

08:56the the the spear right because mitch mccano's on his way out he's retiring he he was one of those

09:02individuals but he he's on his way out plus a couple of others that i've talked about in the past

09:06um what what's what's the um tom tillis is who i'm thinking of that guy's on his way out as

09:14good riddance right uh so yeah a couple of those folks oh man it is full steam ahead full steam

09:24i mean how beautiful would it be come 2030 right or 2028 really excuse me we got another republic we

09:34another republican as president we got the house now with the major majority we got the senate and the

09:41senate no longer has mitch mcconnell tom tillis lisa murkowski susan collins uh john cornyn lindsey

09:51graham or john thune all of those individuals are gone this isn't far-fetched either okay these aren't

09:58far john cornyn is already pretty much toast okay the only person that genuinely has a shot i think i

10:05a poll somewhere is is is uh lindsey graham everybody else is already out minus minus john

10:13thune i haven't seen any polls on john thune but based on what i've been seeing online john thune

10:19ain't got a shot i i don't need to see any polls i've seen people's uh tweets people's posts x

10:25and he ain't got a chance in hell of winning again winning a re-election i don't care how much

10:30he puts into ads so that is very very realistic susan collins is already struggling granted she's

10:37struggling to a democrat which not good right not good but she's probably about to lose uh and lisa

10:44murkowski she's basically cooked especially since trump is talking about getting is is encouraging

10:50alaskans to get rid of the ranked choice voting which is basically the only reason why lisa murkowski is

10:55there uh so yeah more than realistic so now we're going into 2028 with a majority in the house

11:02a majority in in in the senate without a lot of these rhinos and we got a republican as president

11:10granted we won't have uncle trump which you know i'm i'm kind of gonna be sad about it

11:16you know because i i wanted to see trump in office where he could genuinely push through his agenda

11:25where trump could just do his thing i just wanted to see four years or even just two years

11:31couple of years where trump could genuinely just do his thing without the democrats being in the way

11:37which we got the democrats out of the way we gave trump the house and the senate but unfortunately

11:42we still got some rhinos and so the rhinos are stepping in the way of his agenda so i wish

11:48was a way we could get him back in the white house come 2028 so he could have at least

11:53two years

11:53and then i hey hey trump we're gonna give you two more years bro just two years to just do

11:59thing okay we gave you the house we gave you the senate we got rid of the rhinos have at

12:05i would love to see it i would love to see it unfortunately it's not gonna happen obviously

12:09for obvious reasons i mean there's a technical way he could possibly do it maybe if he ran as vice

12:15president blah blah blah but we're not gonna speak in hypotheticals anyway y'all get in the comments
