00:00PKR has appointed Saifuddin Nasution Ismail and Dr. Zaliha Mustafa as party vice presidents

00:07as he gears up for state elections in Johor and Negeri Sambilan.

00:11PKR Information Chief Fahmy Fazil said the appointments were made at the party's Political Bureau

00:16and Central Leadership Council monthly meeting in Batu Pahat, Johor on Saturday.

00:22In a statement, he said this would strengthen and streamline the party's organization and operations at the central level.

00:28Saifuddin was previously PKR Secretary General, while Zaliha is currently Johor PKR Chairman.

00:35They joined Roland Engan as the three appointed vice presidents.

00:40The four elected vice presidents are Amiruddin Shari, Aramanen, Aminuddin Harun and Changli Kang.

00:47Fahmy also said PKR has postponed its party congress in Malacca from June 26-28 to August 14-16

00:55to allow its Johor and Negeri Sambilan chapters to focus on election preparations.
