00:00I'm going to be real. I had a really hard time finding work during a lockdown and I got cancer.
00:05I was like, this is not a fun part of life. And then I got this job. It was just
00:11a really spiritual experience.
00:13It's been a whirlwind. It's kind of changed my entire life. I was working four jobs in Brooklyn and now
00:19I'm in a John Wells show telling the story of my parents. It's been a big year.
00:24So many people have shared their stories about fertility and reproductive health because so much of being a woman rests
00:31on your reproductive health.
00:34They really felt seen. So I'm really grateful that it translated.
00:38The people I get the most response from are real doctors, real nurses, especially people who work in the ER
00:43because they're like, thank you.
00:45We feel so seen by your show. You're actually changing the way our jobs run.
00:50I get stopped a lot by medical professionals. A lot of like nurses and stuff come up to me and
00:55say they've never seen something that actually reflects their work. So that's been really cool.
00:58Oh my God, I might start crying.
00:59I came from a medical background somewhat. I was in the eight year medical program at Brown University.
01:04And to be melding both those two things now, it's everything to me.
