00:00I had never used a dating app just because I was in relationships when they
00:04kind of came onto the scene and now I so value my privacy because I'm an actor
00:09and you know. However, my brother met his wife on a dating app and my best friend
00:13and her husband on Bumble. The impact is so profound and huge and the amount that
00:17I saw how dating apps impact like the babies, the weddings, it was you know. I
00:23guess I'm trying to impress other people like just you know follow your heart and
00:28drink less. All you have to lose is them saying no or ignoring you so like wear
00:34your heart on your sleeve, be vulnerable, say the thing, do the thing and if they
00:38say no they say no and you are no worse than you were before. Whitney's story you
00:41know took place pre-MeToo. Things would have been somewhat different for her.
00:45Post-MeToo the media was really brutal to her in a way that I think would have been
00:49like not quite acceptable now. It's really helpful to take away from Whitney's story.
00:53Not that you know feminism is solved or something but more that like have
00:57encouraged to speak up and push forward and really follow your moral compass is
01:01the path to move you know to move culture.
