00:00Mr. Starr, you have been the creator of a lot of series in television, very important.
00:08I don't want to say the names because everybody knows them.
00:12Is there a fil rouge between all these series until Emily in Paris?
00:18You know, I think that there's been a sense of Paris in all the series I've done.
00:23You know, Brenda went to Paris and Kelly in Beverly Hills 90210.
00:27Carrie went to Paris in Sex and the City.
00:30And then finally, with Emily in Paris, I get to really be in Paris.
00:33So I've always had a love of Paris and this idea of sending Americans to Paris.
00:40But I think the real connection between all of them is this idea that in all the shows,
00:46the ensemble of the cast feels like they create a sense of family with each other.
00:53And I think the audience sort of makes that connection to them as well.
00:57You have created some very successful series.
01:02We can say Sex and the City, we can say Melrose Place, we can say Beverly Hills and now Emily
01:09in Paris.
01:10Is there a recipe for this success?
01:14I feel ultimately it's the characters, the actors, and the idea behind it.
01:25Beyond that, I think the success you can't count on.
01:28I hope you can count on.
01:28So let's go ahead and take a quick response.
01:28So let's go ahead and take the view of that one.
01:28So let's go ahead and take a quick response.
