00:0060 million followers in the Hindi channel, I think we are going to become the highest, the biggest in India.
00:05I think it is number one.
00:07We are talking of 60 million? I would be glad if I have 6,000 dedicated students.
00:13Some nice thumbnail, some juicy short clip, something.
00:23Or some advertisement funded by the Foundation.
00:28Subscribe.
00:30Result, now notifications.
00:41Look at your relatives, look at your workplaces, look at your friends.
00:44Will they allow you to be with me?
00:46I'll keep knocking at your doors, I'll keep giving you trouble.
00:50You cannot avoid me.
00:51I leave you, you'll be gone in no time.
00:53When you stab me in the back.
00:56Again, that is the usual fear.
00:58Everybody has been serving me that.
01:00That's fine.
01:01I am not saying this out of self pity or anything.
01:05I'm used to it.
01:06You are here because I have brought you here.
01:08I don't just wait in an inertia.
01:10I make things happen.
01:12I don't say, let's see, let's wait and watch.
01:14One has to actively go out and fight the war.
01:16Do you understand the toll that these sessions take on my physical self?
01:22Do you understand?
01:23Do you understand what it means for a person to be speaking this way continuously for 2 hours or 3
01:28hours?
01:29Or sometimes standing for 2 hours or 3 hours, sometimes 4 or 5 hours?
01:33Do you understand?
01:34Please tell me.
01:35Try this.
01:37Just try this.
01:42Hello, Chaiji.
01:44Well, I've been listening to you for 2 years now.
01:47But the contemporariness of the sessions that we see is so mind boggling that, you know, it's as if I'm
01:59talking to a live person who understands my context exactly.
02:02I'm not just listening to some philosophy, you know, I'm just actually connecting the life that I'm living with a
02:13higher possibility.
02:14But my question is different.
02:16The Buddhas and the Krishnas barely had any followers.
02:20And they barely do.
02:22But then someone who is bringing the real meaning of Krishna to the world, at least for me, I can
02:30see that, has 60 million followers in the Hindi channel.
02:36I think we are going to become the highest, the biggest channel in Asia or something like that.
02:42The top two or three in India, I think it is number one.
02:45So has there been any shift in the consciousness of people that the thing that we just discussed is changing?
02:54How should we see this whole thing?
02:57Every single video is complete in itself.
03:06It is not a continuity.
03:09It is not dependent on the adjacent video.
03:17It is a total, whole, complete, independent package.
03:24How many likes or comments or even views do you see there?
03:3460 million is a number.
03:37They happened to click on the subscribe button.
03:42And that is because we very aggressively chased them.
03:45Very, very aggressively.
03:49And when we were not chasing them, you know the situation.
03:542018 or something.
03:563000 videos on the channel and 2000 subscribers.
04:0360 million is the number of doors I have knocked.
04:1060 million is the number of people I have touched.
04:1760 million is the number of people who at least once nodded to me.
04:2660 million probably is also close to the number of broken promises.
04:35That reflects no shift in the nature or center of the audience.
04:43That just tells you that somebody has been relentless in pursuing the world.
04:5061 million is the number of people who are the world.
04:54This number does not reflect the state of the audience.
05:07This number reflects the chase of the chaser.
05:15The tragedy is the audience has remained much the same.
05:21in spite of the chase. But that's not how you will look at it. You will say, you see,
05:28the world offers him so much respect and love. 60 million have come to him. Nobody came to me.
05:37Nobody came to me. I had to chase them. And even after I chase them, they disappear after
05:47just clicking. The world has not changed. What do you think this algorithm would ever support
06:00the work I am doing? What kind of lala land are you coming from? Algorithm is meant to
06:10give you dopamine peaks. This face gives you dopamine? Really?
06:25People change not just the channel, not just the app, but even their phone. If I happen
06:35to appear. And you really believe that the world has grown so good and the algorithms
06:47have grown so favourable that we gathered 60 million of them. Not just 60. You take it
06:53across all platforms. We have recently done 100 million now. Wow! Surely, the earth deserves
07:03to be renamed. Let's call it paradise. 100 million subscribers to the truth. What more can you
07:15want? That's 100 million deceptions. That's 100 million self-betrayals. Because these are now
07:28not people who do not know. They know and yet they avoid. These are also probably people who
07:37get notified since they have clipped the button. So they are getting notified in some way or
07:46the other. At least once a week, at least once a month, some notification, some news, some information
07:55is reaching them. And yet they are avoiding. And that's how at the practical level, the truth
08:08is silenced. Not through resistance, but through indifference. And that indifference gets fortified
08:20in the name of freedom of choice. It's my choice to not to watch him. It's my choice to not
08:31to watch
08:31this man. Don't I have freedom of choice? Is this not a free country? My choice? I don't
08:38want to watch him. You know, it's funny. The number of people who both subscribe and unsubscribe
08:52to our main channel daily is almost as big as the total number of subscribers of a mid-sized channel.
09:06Lacks of people unsubscribe our channel every day. In fact, just the number of those who unsubscribe us,
09:17if they happen to constitute a new channel, that would be a sufficiently big channel. I am talking of the
09:24unsubscribers per day.
09:28It's just that those who subscribe are a little more. So the channel appears to be growing.
09:36Who are the ones unsubscribing? Typically those who happen to come a little close and got burnt.
09:49Who are the ones who subscribe? Some nice thumbnail? Some juicy short clip? Something.
10:01Oh nice. Or some advertisement funded by the foundation? Subscribe. Result? Now notifications.
10:27Unsubscribe. That's the game. What does it mean? Nothing. Nothing is happening. YouTube is nothing.
10:35Even the Gita community is nothing. You might be a lakh people now. The core of Gita community,
10:43the nucleus is small. Small. Very small. 80% of the people here have no commitment at all.
10:54And it is their dropout rate that is the maximum. It is very strange. On the community you see these
11:03labels, right?
11:04On some of the accounts there is no label. That means their account is not subsidized.
11:0980% of the Gita participants, they donate less than Rs. 200 per month. And the funny thing is, it
11:20is this category that drops out the most.
11:25Very funny. Those who are contributing, they don't drop out. Those who are not contributing, they are here for free.
11:32Almost for free. 25 rupees, 50 rupees, 78 rupees. They are the ones who drop out.
11:42It's only a small number that has any kind of commitment.
11:46You are talking of 60 million? I would be glad if I have 6000 dedicated students.
11:54I was listening when you were talking to the event host in Bhavaneshwar. And I could read the body language
12:03of the host and I could see people in the background, the way they were reacting to the things that
12:10were hard hitting.
12:33We are chasing the world very, very furiously. More furiously than you can ever imagine.
12:44You just don't know the intensity with which we chase the world. You also don't know the intensity with which
12:50we chase the Gita participants.
12:56Shivaratri, the counsellors team. A lot of them were very surprised. They said, we saw faces here.
13:09That were absent since years. One and a half years. Two years. Since years they had not even received our
13:18calls. And now they suddenly showed up on Mahashivaratri.
13:24And in between, they refused to pick at least 50 calls. And then they had the guts to come and
13:31sit in the Mahashivaratri session.
13:36And that's the reason this decision has been taken. You want to come to the foundation's home. You please speak
13:42in person to a foundation member.
13:47We are not an online course. We are not an online course. You can't just fill up the form and
13:51turn up and occupy a seat.
13:57Speak to someone. The moment we said speak to someone, the attendance reduced.
14:02That's the kind of people we have in the community. They don't want to speak to the counsellor. Because the
14:06counsellor will ask them.
14:08What is it that you are doing?
14:11Three years back, you were donating 5000. Then you made it something. Then you made it something. Now you have
14:17made it 500.
14:17So actually, the benefit you are getting from Achairji has reduced to 1 by 10.
14:24The logic this fellow has is, see everybody else is paying only Rs.25 now.
14:30I am at least paying 500.
14:32This is the logic that these people have.
14:36And that's the reason they don't want to talk to the counsellor. They don't pick calls.
14:44It's a gathering, yes, but for namesake.
14:51I am not at all confident of the quality of the gathering.
14:56And I have said that often.
14:58I don't trust you.
15:00Because I know how much we have to chase you.
15:04There is a very small nucleus that is dependable.
15:07Dependable, but very small.
15:12All the others are bystanders.
15:15Something happens to the foundation.
15:17They would in fact start sending mails.
15:20Kindly delete our name and demographics from your database.
15:27Like rats that jump off a sinking ship.
15:34Tomorrow something happens to the foundation.
15:36As is likely to happen.
15:38It's likely to happen because we are trying to save you.
15:41And that's the reason something or the other is going to hit the foundation.
15:46And then we will receive a deluge of mails.
15:49Saying, please, please, please.
15:52Delete all proof that we were ever connected to the foundation.
15:55Because along with you, we don't want to get into trouble.
15:57You see, we are people of the chola and chola type.
16:01We are respectable middle class householders.
16:05And we have daughters to marry.
16:07Who will marry my daughter if it comes to be known?
16:12That she was or I was, her father was once a student of such a controversial foundation.
16:20So, please, delete everything.
16:22That's the kind of people I have.
16:24And I am not someone who would ever tolerate any kind of self deception.
16:30So, I know who I am.
16:32I also know who you are.
16:33I also know our relationship.
16:35I am not going to flatter myself that I am getting a lot of love and respect and commitment.
16:42No, not at all.
16:46But yes, I will continue to chase.
16:48Because that's my life, my choice, my decision.
16:51I will keep chasing you.
16:52I know very well.
16:55I know very well you don't have it in you to reciprocate.
16:59But I will still keep chasing you.
17:01What else to do with this life?
17:03I have a life.
17:05I have a life.
17:05And that's the way I have decided to live it.
17:10For the ones, the small nucleus, I think they appreciate, not appreciate, I think that's an understatement.
17:22I mean, they may become like Anand and maybe Ashoka perhaps and that will make it worth it, do you
17:34think?
17:37Ashok came decades, centuries later.
17:41Allow me to die then, first thing.
17:47Continuously you keep talking of this, that.
17:51All that happens.
17:52Rarely.
17:53And that too, after centuries.
17:57I don't care about posterity or legacy.
18:01There is this life.
18:02And that's the way I think it's best spent.
18:07I'll keep knocking at your doors.
18:09I'll keep giving you trouble.
18:12You cannot avoid me.
18:18My job is to annoy.
18:26I can even stare back at you from the mirror.
18:28How will you avoid me?
18:30I once said that.
18:33Somebody was running away from the foundation.
18:38I said, you can avoid looking at me, but how will you avoid the mirror?
18:41What if you look into the mirror and you find me asking me?
18:47Hello?
18:49Where are you?
18:53I might not be known as a great teacher, but I'll be certainly known as the great chaser.
18:59My job was to chase you.
19:03And that tells less about me and more about you.
19:08Every single call you choose not to pick, every single message you choose not to reply to is not a
19:14message from anybody else.
19:16It's a call from me that you are not attending.
19:21Every single session you choose to discard is a rejection you are stamping on my face.
19:33That process is me.
19:39I don't live in dualities.
19:42It's not me and my process.
19:45The process I make is me.
19:47You reject my process.
19:48You have rejected me.
19:50And that's fine.
19:51My need for reciprocity is quite low.
19:57I don't very easily feel lonely.
20:01I don't very easily feel rejected.
20:04I am human.
20:06I do, but not easily.
20:08You can keep rejecting me, but I don't feel rejected.
20:11There is something wrong with me.
20:13My system is a bit different.
20:16I don't very easily feel insulted either.
20:19You can keep doing things to me.
20:21I stand.
20:23So, I don't even expect love from you.
20:26I don't even expect you to understand.
20:30The fact that I chase you is purely internal to me.
20:34It's got very little to do with you.
20:36You don't reciprocate.
20:38I am fine with that.
20:39In fact, when you do reciprocate,
20:42then I am taken by surprise.
20:45In fact, I smell rat.
20:48Something is fishy.
20:50Too much I love you.
20:54When you attempt to kick me in the teeth.
20:57To me, that is normal.
20:59Because everybody has been doing that.
21:01When you stab me in the back.
21:03Again, that is the usual fear.
21:06Everybody has been serving me that.
21:10That's fine.
21:13I am not saying this out of self pity or anything.
21:17I am used to it.
21:20It's almost like not expecting mercy from your opponent in tennis.
21:24You lob the ball up and he will smash.
21:27You don't say,
21:28Why did you smash it so hard?
21:32Similarly, you slap me in the face.
21:33I can't complain.
21:34Why did you slap me so hard?
21:36Because that's your job.
21:39Your job is to smash it.
21:41My job is to keep sending it back to you.
21:44My job is to keep the ball in the rally.
21:47Don't deceive yourself.
21:49You are not here out of your own sweet will.
21:54I will never let you have the pleasure of claiming that.
22:00Sorry.
22:02No.
22:03Not a single one of you is here because you chose to be here.
22:07No.
22:08To choose freely, first of all, you must have inner freedom.
22:12You don't have that.
22:13At least yet.
22:16You are here because I have brought you here.
22:20And that's not an boastful or arrogant claim.
22:24That's the naked fact.
22:28I leave you, you will be gone in no time.
22:33I leave you, you will be gone in no time.
22:36The doctors have been saying, why is this fellow not taking a break?
22:41Look at his schedule on the very first day of the month.
22:46Every single day is allotted to this or that and along with all the administrative tasks and the book that
22:52is being written and all kinds of miscellaneous things.
22:56Why is he not taking a break?
22:57Because I know I take a break for a month and you will be gone.
23:01That's who you are.
23:04These are not sessions.
23:06These are ways to keep you trapped.
23:11I leave you free for a week and you won't be there.
23:20I am encircling you all the time.
23:26Look at what you are otherwise surrounded with in your usual life.
23:30Look at your relatives.
23:31Look at your workplaces.
23:33Look at your friends.
23:36Will they allow you to be with me?
23:40Look at your beliefs.
23:42Look at your religion.
23:44Will that allow you to continue with me?
23:47Therefore, I have to be continuously at work.
23:51Just catching up.
23:53Just catching up.
23:59I can't take a break.
24:04When I am not in the sessions, I am doing something else to catch you.
24:13My life is nothing but a long trail of multidimensional chase.
24:22Chase them from this side, from that side, from this side.
24:25Trap them here.
24:26Hold them there.
24:27Stop them there.
24:33Don't let them go.
24:35Because your entire universe is designed around lies.
24:44It's like this.
24:47Have you seen a semi-open umbrella?
24:54In its conical shape?
24:56Have you seen?
24:59I am the apex.
25:01I am the top.
25:04And the rest of your life is a huge conical slope.
25:10I leave you from there.
25:14And you just slip down rapidly with acceleration.
25:23There is nothing in the rest of your life which will bring you back to me.
25:27Suppose you drop out.
25:28Suppose you drop out.
25:29Is there anything or anybody in your life who will bring you back to me?
25:33In fact, everything in your universe will celebrate the moment you drop out.
25:41I am holding you at the top of a hill.
25:44A hill.
25:45With steep and slippery slopes.
25:49The moment I leave you from there.
25:53You will be gone never to be recovered.
25:59Even I will be unable to retrieve you.
26:02And that's the reason why I have to be continuously at work.
26:06Just to hold you there at the top.
26:09Your entire universe is this slippery cone.
26:14That's no fault of mine.
26:15But I am paying for it.
26:16But I am happy.
26:17I am happy.
26:22I am paying for the lies and the falseness
26:30that your universe is composed of.
26:36My suffering is not mine.
26:37In fact, in my suffering, there is nothing that is mine.
26:43When it comes to my personal life, there is no suffering.
26:48Or if there is something that is very little.
26:5499% of my suffering is you.
27:01But that's fine.
27:02That's a choice.
27:04That's a choice I have made.
27:07Just that I don't want you to believe that these hundred million
27:10are really nice people.
27:13Who wanted to be devoted to wisdom and therefore they came to me.
27:17No, they didn't.
27:19No, they didn't.
27:21No, they didn't.
27:24I myself is an example of one of your ways of keeping your grasp on people.
27:34That I ran away after a couple of months after I joined.
27:39And then my first counsellor, he riled me up.
27:44He literally used words and tone that I'd never heard from anyone else.
27:51And that really disturbed me to the core.
27:53And then just to prove him that I did not run away.
27:59I joined again.
28:00But then I realized that this was a trick.
28:02Much later, maybe six months, eight months.
28:07No, it might not really have been a trick.
28:10It just worked.
28:11It just worked.
28:14Our team of counsellors is not that experienced.
28:21And not that skilled either.
28:24They are raw people.
28:27In fact, most of the times, they make a rather rough call.
28:32We receive an email.
28:33Kindly refund me my 50 rupees.
28:37Kindly refund me my 50 rupees.
28:40There are these gurus you worship.
28:42And they ran away with your millions.
28:44You demanded refunds.
28:46And you still worship them.
28:47Right?
28:50You actually weighed them against their weight with dollars.
28:56What happened to your millions?
28:59What happens to your millions?
29:00Hundreds of cars and jets were bought.
29:03Or did you receive a refund?
29:05Did you receive a refund?
29:06But you are still fanboys and fangirls.
29:09And here, if you receive a rough call.
29:12You please refund me my 50 rupees.
29:14Sir, the cost of refunding 50 rupees is 75 rupees.
29:23Yes, because there is a cost to any process.
29:29But we do refund.
29:34So, it was not really a trick.
29:35It just happened to work.
29:39With most people, it doesn't work.
29:42That does not include the value of my life, my time.
29:47We are only talking of the amount that goes from the foundation's bank account.
29:52That does not in any way include the value of my life, my time, my teaching.
30:01And the foundation is still surviving.
30:07It will still survive.
30:11Because just as there is no distinction between me and my processes,
30:15ultimately there is no distinction between me and my foundation.
30:18Even if everybody leaves, I will survive as the foundation.
30:23I am the foundation, literally.
30:32So, you can't give me a thing or take away a thing.
30:39I stand firm in my inner truth.
30:42Doing what I must.
30:46I exist to give.
30:48I will continue giving.
30:49You run away.
30:51I will still exist.
30:54I will die and there is something that will not die with me.
30:59And I am not talking of Jivatma here.
31:02Come on.
31:09Yes.
31:12I am a postdoctoral fellow from PRLM.
31:16So, I just wanted to share an incident.
31:19Previous year, Teacher's Day, I just gifted my postdoctoral supervisor a couple of books
31:25authored by you, Sanghar and Vedanta.
31:30So, he means basically a person who is like having a strong scientific temper.
31:38At the same time, he questions a very small intricate details in whatever we do.
31:45Experiments or anything.
31:47So, it actually happened to be a bit of a surprise for me.
31:52Though, I was having an assumption that period of time.
31:56But, like he refused straight away that if we go through such kind of things in life.
32:03So, we have to change in life.
32:05So, the thing is that why there is even for such kind of people who have that kind of questioning
32:14capability when it comes to science and everything.
32:18Always tend to refuse or doesn't embrace the change when it comes to the self-knowledge.
32:28Because they need a shock that you are unable to deliver.
32:33Because you have stakes.
32:38Those who feel that just because they know a thing or two about the material world,
32:46makes them somebody, basically need to be delivered a shock.
32:52So, that they are shocked out of their somebody-ness.
32:55And they realize that in spite of knowing this or that about the scientific world,
33:00they are still very vacant in the internal world.
33:07That shock is the way of telling them.
33:11That's all.
33:14There is nothing in this.
33:16We have discussed this umpteen number of times.
33:19You may know about this, that, the pillar, the phone, the desk, the table, the chair.
33:25You can know about all these things.
33:26How does that mean that you know anything about yourself?
33:29Which is the ego?
33:33But the ego has to be credibly demonstrated that it does not know.
33:40And that needs a shock.
33:44And to deliver a shock to somebody, first of all, you should be free from that person.
33:51If you have stakes with respect to that person, you will never have the guts to deliver the shock.
33:59I can speak openly to you only because I expect nothing from you.
34:05But he is your guide, your supervisor.
34:08And your material welfare and money and degree and thesis and reputation and many other things are linked to him.
34:15And that is also the reason why you are gifting him books.
34:19Sir, sir, sir, nice books, sir. You know, sir, sir. Please, sir. Be happy, sir.
34:23That is not the way you bring about change in somebody.
34:29The ego needs either loads of love or a huge shock.
34:36And often the load of love, too, is delivered only in the form of a shock.
34:43There is no other way.
34:45Because the ego is a huge, long-lasting stupor, inebriation.
34:51The ego lies sleeping within itself.
34:57You will have to shake it up to wake it up.
35:03And that involves necessarily discomfort.
35:08You don't have the guts to deliver that discomfort.
35:12Because discomforting him would mean discomforting yourself.
35:16You discomfort him and he will reciprocate.
35:19And you don't want to absorb that.
35:21So, you say, fine, fine, fine, sir.
35:23I will just scratch your back and other body parts.
35:33And that's what we all are doing.
35:38Somebody, the report card says,
35:4126 invited, 2 remaining.
35:44What have you done with the remaining 24?
35:47You are still serving them chola.
35:50And showing them your chola.
35:58Or did you break off, break up, break away?
36:00Did that happen?
36:02You are still friends with them.
36:04Are you not?
36:05The shock never arrived.
36:09You never said, now that you have dropped Gita.
36:11Sir, I have dropped you.
36:14And that's the reason your report card shows 2 by 24.
36:17Because those 22.
36:20You don't have the guts to deliver shock to them.
36:26As you once said that, like even you have been like,
36:29in the past, been spending a lot of time behind those people
36:36who were not considering.
36:40And then you have realized that then move on,
36:43because there are so many people that we can reach.
36:45So similarly on that day, it so happened,
36:48it's a mere random coincidence you can say,
36:51like a Brownian motion,
36:52that a PhD student,
36:55like he, whom I speak regarding the science
37:00and also sometimes a bit of philosophy.
37:03So I gifted him those books and he, like reading it daily and discussing with me.
37:12So, on totality, I can think of some good has happened, but let's see how the life will transform.
37:21No, let's see doesn't work.
37:23When it comes to you, I never say, let's see.
37:26I pour my heart out.
37:28I don't just wait in an inertia.
37:31I make things happen.
37:34I make things happen.
37:36I don't say, let's see, let's wait and watch.
37:38That's not the way things happen.
37:41One has to actively go out and fight the war.
37:49Pranam Anshali, two or three months back, I have invited my mother to the Neeta session and she has been
37:54listening to it for around one year, giving all the exams and all.
37:58I had one reflection for P. Pandit.
38:01She had suffered a heart attack.
38:03So the conversation we were having on the call, me and my mother, she had received the initial treatment.
38:09And there was an anxiety and stress.
38:11Obviously, it's a life threatening thing.
38:13But initial management was done.
38:15And that duration was of the exam.
38:18I just told her very jokingly that why are you getting distracted and all?
38:22Just give the exam.
38:23I'm also giving the exam.
38:24So that is something you have gifted to me.
38:28I have become someone like that.
38:30Because I have been a very pampered child.
38:32The only child to my parents.
38:33So I never imagined that I would have such a conversation with my mother.
38:37At the time, she had suffered a heart attack.
38:39And she gave that exam.
38:41And she scored something around 17%.
38:44So I beg your pardon to say this.
38:47But it's a shame for people who skip exams after realizing this.
38:51That somebody who is in a stress of a life threatening condition, gave the exam, scored it.
38:56And she gives all the exams.
38:57Everybody used to drag me out of this.
39:01Okay, you are going on this path, that path.
39:05But I don't know from where I had this thing in me that all the conversation boiled down to Acharya
39:12Prasanth.
39:13And everybody, each and every guest invited.
39:16I had a very decent conversation.
39:18People were very, I think 99% people were very deceptive of what I told them about your teachings and
39:24what I have gained from that.
39:26So that was a reflection that I wanted to share that.
39:30There have been so many teachings.
39:33There have been so many teachers.
39:36One has listened to so many satsangs.
39:41And most of that has not benefited people.
39:47One of the major reasons is you have never been tested.
39:53These tests are the difference.
39:57They are the uniqueness.
39:59These tests are something that has rarely happened before.
40:05Spirituality has remained synonymous with just sitting and listening and never being tested.
40:19For the first time, at this scale and at this frequency, I am testing you.
40:30And that's the reason you run away from the tests.
40:34Anybody who avoids the test is somebody who is nurturing the evil within himself or herself.
40:41You don't want to be exposed.
40:44You want to nurture the hollow, false inner confidence that you know.
40:55That you are somebody.
40:57That you understand.
41:01Write the test and you will be exposed.
41:04Write the test and the proof will be in your face.
41:08And that's the proof your ego will not be able to tolerate.
41:12And that's the reason you run away from the exams.
41:14There is no other reason.
41:16There is no other reason.
41:17The exams will show you your place.
41:21The exams will show you where you stand.
41:24The exams will show you that your confidence is hollow.
41:29If you know anybody who does not write the exams, know that person to be self-deceptive.
41:38Know that person to be living in an inner la-la land.
41:45And also know that person to be very, very afraid.
41:51Very afraid of the truth.
41:54And therefore, very afraid of the exams.
42:03Practically, I understand nobody can write all the exams.
42:06That's the reason we don't have just four exams per month.
42:12If I want you to write a minimum of five exams,
42:16we conduct many more than five.
42:19So that out of these many, you can write five.
42:24That's the reason we extended the time.
42:27And created an entire window from 9pm till midnight.
42:31So that you can choose
42:34a suitable time for yourself.
42:39You remember when we started, we used to have just four exams.
42:43One every week.
42:45You remember when we started,
42:47those who are veterans of three years experience will know.
42:53There used to be just four sessions a month.
42:55And you used to enroll either for Gita or Rashtavakra Gita
42:59or Sansarita.
43:00And there used to be just four sessions.
43:02I realized if I give them just four sessions, they will attend one.
43:06So I said I will give 15.
43:07So that they attend four.
43:12Then we started organizing the exams.
43:14And you would miss the exam.
43:16And then the next exam would be the next week.
43:20So we said no, give them more exams.
43:21So that they write at least something.
43:25Doesn't matter if that makes my own life difficult.
43:29Do you understand what it means to create an exam almost every day,
43:33every second day.
43:34Do you understand?
43:34Please.
43:40And then if one option is off.
43:43There are stalwarts in the community who raise a huge hue and cry.
43:47Why have my marks been detected?
43:50You should be detected.
43:55Forget marks.
43:56Even you should be out.
44:02And if you care so much about a flawless exam, join the foundation.
44:07Or volunteer and make the exams full proof for us.
44:10Come.
44:11We are not a for profit firm.
44:15It is your foundation.
44:17Nobody is earning a profit from here.
44:19If you find something that needs improvement.
44:22Volunteer.
44:23Don't complain.
44:25We are not providing you services here.
44:27You are not a client or a customer.
44:32You are a student and behave like one.
44:41Do you understand that?
44:43But then you don't even want to really count and acknowledge
44:49all the trouble that the foundation takes for you.
44:55Do you understand the toll that these sessions take on my physical self?
45:02Do you understand?
45:03Do you understand what it means for a person to be speaking this way continuously for 2 hours or 3
45:08hours?
45:09Or sometimes standing for 2 hours and 3 hours, sometimes 4 or 5 hours?
45:13Do you understand?
45:14Please tell me.
45:16Try this.
45:17Just try this.
45:18At this level of attention.
45:20From this depth of meditation.
45:22Speak for any stretch of time and you will know what kind of energy it extracts.
45:29And why should I be speaking so frequently to you?
45:32Why can't I just speak?
45:344 days a month.
45:35Why can't I speak to you just 4 days a month?
45:38Because you anyway do not listen to more than 4 sessions a month.
45:41So I might as well say.
45:43You listen to 4 sessions.
45:45I will speak 4 times.
45:46Why do I have to speak 15 times in the Gita sessions, Hindi and English combined?
45:51And then there are the other sessions.
45:54This afternoon you said you watched me live on some channel.
45:59And that was a 2 hour session.
46:03This month itself there were 3 visits to 3 different cities scheduled.
46:08One got cancelled.
46:09One was cancelled by us.
46:12And still there are 2 coming up.
46:16You understand what kind of toll it takes?
46:18You don't want to think about that.
46:20Because you will then have to be grateful.
46:23And you want to avoid gratitude.
46:26As I get up from here, I won't just go and entertain myself for sleep.
46:30I will work.
46:31And there will be people waiting for me in the conference room.
46:35Before I reach upstairs.
46:38They will be all set for a meeting.
46:40And the meeting will continue almost till dawn.
46:48And in between the meeting, I will be listening to your reflections.
46:53And also dictating notes.
46:58And pandering to the remaining business of the foundation.
47:02All the miscellaneous things.
47:04And then you say, oh, we don't want to write exams because we already know.
47:09Let's see how much you know.
47:12Let's see how much you know.
47:16You too know that you do not know, right?
47:19And that's why you skip the exams.
47:26Sir, recently I helped my mom to attend your session life.
47:31And just after I made my mom to attend your session life, my father called me and started scolding me.
47:40And also, sir, when I watch your sessions life, there are a number of questions.
47:45Have you lost your mind?
47:46What are you doing?
47:47And even when I make people understand what you're doing, which brings me in a conflict that, is it worth
47:53it to make them understand what is the value of the truth or just leave them where they are?
47:58Your wife, your mother, your father, you see what you want to do.
48:04I haven't dropped from the skies.
48:07I too had a background.
48:10I too had a baggage.
48:13In fact, I had quite a loaded baggage.
48:16Think of someone who had all kinds of lucrative options laid out in front of him in the most decorated
48:29and tempting way possible.
48:32Imagine, imagine.
48:35I could have picked up anything.
48:40It was all not just waiting, but actually calling out to me.
48:46Come.
48:47This one said you come.
48:49This one said you come.
48:50This one said you come.
48:51This one said you come.
48:53Do I tell you it was very difficult for me?
48:57Do I tell you?
48:58Do I tell you?
49:01Then why do you come and share these things?
49:03What's your age?
49:0521.
49:0521.
49:0521.
49:06This was exactly the age I cleared my UPSC.
49:12And when the results were declared within a month, I was just 21.
49:1922 rather because the process of the declaration takes another year or something.
49:26And three, four, five marriage proposals.
49:33You know what these people do?
49:36From the UPSC, they extract the phone numbers and addresses of the successful candidates.
49:44And then send them letters and mails.
49:47Do I ever tell you how sexy that one was?
49:54And I bet she was.
49:59What do you have?
50:03Ask me what I could have had.
50:14And the father is a minister.
50:16And he is saying you will get this, that and in that time crores and dowry and everything.
50:22And not one but several proposals of the kind.
50:25Do I talk of all that nonsense to you ever?
50:29Ever?
50:30Because that's shitty.
50:32Why should that be brought in?
50:34But you keep bringing in the same shit.
50:37What do you think?
50:38My mother was born enlightened or something.
50:42She too wanted me to get married.
50:44She too wanted me to have that regular kind of job and the usual kind of life.
50:51Do I narrate to you that it was very difficult for me?
50:56Doesn't matter.
50:58Doesn't matter.
50:58The right thing is the right thing.
50:59It has to be done.
51:03Do I tell you?
51:04I too had the tendency to compare myself against my peers.
51:09What are my batchmates from IT doing?
51:11What are those from IIM doing?
51:14Or could I have joined the services?
51:20Why don't I chase them on their LinkedIn profile and see how far they have reached?
51:26Oh, this one too has settled abroad.
51:29Oh, almost 90% of the batch.
51:33Flown away.
51:36I could have told you all these things.
51:38And you will say, oh, it is very natural for you to compare and miss that life.
51:46Do I talk of these things to you?
51:49What is right is right.
51:51Full stop.
51:55Once you discard a lane, you don't keep turning around to look back at it, right?
52:02Given up means given up.
52:04You don't keep checking at some frequency.
52:10Oh, so what's happening there?
52:11Sir, you have given that up.
52:14Why are you even bothering to peep now?
52:19For more than a decade, I didn't know what my batchmates were doing.
52:22I was out.
52:23Totally out.
52:25Preparing myself to serve you.
52:30That was not really the objective.
52:32I had no objective.
52:34Just that what's right is right.
52:37There was something that was not worthy of being taken up.
52:41I gave it up and that's it.
52:43Full stop.
52:44Why do you keep narrating what your mama is saying, what your papa is saying?
52:48They are human beings, normal human beings, deluded human beings, egoic human beings.
52:55Like anybody else.
52:57But because you are probably more deluded than them, so to you they are very big.
53:03You know my mama said that.
53:04Who is your mama?
53:06How does she matter?
53:08Who is she?
53:10Why should she be brought in in this discussion?
53:14Do I bring in my mama?
53:21Last time she came I said you are becoming too famous.
53:30Busy giving selfies.
53:32She has become known.
53:37And I did say I said you know.
53:38Had you had your way.
53:40This session would have never taken place.
53:42Because that's not the life you wanted for me.
53:45Yes that's the life she never wanted for me.
53:48In fact even today this is not the life she wants for me.
53:54As a mother she totally dislikes the life I am living.
54:01She takes pity actually.
54:07Now why this selfie business?
54:11You are enjoying all the fame.
54:18Sir these are your personal battles.
54:24Fight them at your end and finish them off.
54:30This is like one's daily shit.
54:33One doesn't flush it out in the public, right?
54:38Right?
54:40All these things are done behind closed doors.
54:43Or do you do it in public?
54:46Swachh Bharat, remember?
54:53Everybody is washing his dirty linen here.
54:56But then my wife says you know.
54:59Don't touch me.
55:02Sir but what do I do?
55:04There is a lot of lust.
55:05But I also like the Gita.
55:09Wife says.
55:14If Gita then no pheeta.
55:24Why are you telling all these things to me?
55:28I too had my days, my occasions, my relationships.
55:31Do I talk of them to you?
55:34Do I talk of them?
55:36Or do you think I have come to this age?
55:39Totally untouched.
55:42Like Baba Brahmachari.
55:45Do I mention these things to you?
55:48And I have had my feelings and egoic emotions like everybody else has.
55:57These are personal things.
56:01Maybe I still carry scars.
56:04My job is to manage them at my end.
56:07I am not going to put all that in your ledger.
56:12And say you know it is because of you that I had that breakup.
56:17So you compensate.
56:21Each one of you will donate rupees 15 more this month.
56:28Acharya Ji had a breakup with other of you.
56:32What nonsense.
56:37My filth, mine to wash.
56:43I have not come to you unscarred.
56:49And it's not dignified to reveal anything beyond that.
56:55Let this suffice.
56:58Everything that you go through, I too have gone through probably in a worse way.
57:04Probably in a more painful way.
57:10Probably I am carrying, as I said, deep scars.
57:16You portray as if you have a mama and a papa.
57:22And I am a parushay.
57:31As if you have an ego.
57:33And I was born egoless.
57:36As if you have desires.
57:37And I have never had any.
57:40I too have had desires.
57:42I was...
57:45One like you.
57:49Pass through all these things.
57:54And so what's to be left behind?
57:55Has been left behind?
57:56And is still being left behind everyday?
58:01Deal with it.
58:02Deal with it.
58:05Deal with it.
58:10Don't weep so much.
58:11Just deal with it.
58:16Everybody passes through it.
58:20Heart breaks.
58:22Heart breaks.
58:22House breaks.
58:24This, that.
58:25Phone breaks.
58:27Jail breaks.
58:30Everybody passes through it.
58:32Nobody is an exception.
58:34Been there.
58:35Done it.
58:39You don't display your tears.
58:43Wipe them and deal with life.
