The Trump administration abandoned its proposed $1.8 billion “Anti-Weaponisation Fund” following bipartisan criticism, legal scrutiny, and growing concerns among Republicans. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche told lawmakers the Department of Justice would not proceed with the controversial program, which critics argued could have benefited Trump allies using taxpayer money. While the move represents a major policy retreat, controversy remains over the broader settlement tied to the proposal. Blanche confirmed that provisions shielding Donald Trump, his family, and affiliated businesses from certain ongoing IRS audits will remain in place, fueling renewed debate over accountability, transparency, and potential conflicts of interest.

00:00Can you explain why you decided to drop the anti-weaponization fund?
00:04So, I love it. I think it's so important.
00:08People were, this is a victim right here, but not only a victim, he was also a student of it.
00:14What happened to great people, great American people, the way they were victimized, the way they were savaged,
00:22you have suicides, they killed themselves, they went bankrupt,
00:26they were weaponized by the Biden administration, by a bunch of thugs, including Obama people.
00:33And, like, nobody's probably ever been.
00:35I mean, I can think of maybe two instances in this country where they've had it to somewhere to that
00:41extent.
00:41I'm not even sure if it was so much.
00:44They were put in jail for long periods of time.
00:47They were accused of things that never happened.
00:51They had prosecutors that were radical lunatics.
00:55And their lives were destroyed.
00:58And, frankly, we had a lawsuit that, against us on the, you know, on the weaponization,
01:07where the judge, a radical left judge, ruled against it.
01:11And we'll see how that all works out.
01:13But a radical left judge ruled against it.
01:15But these people, their lives have been destroyed.
01:18Their families have been destroyed.
01:20Many of them.
01:20And I'm not just talking about a few people.
01:23Many of them.
01:26I'm one of them.
01:26I look, they raided my house, Mar-a-Lago.
01:30It never happened.
01:31Nobody ever thought of a thing like that.
01:32It turned out that it was a total fake.
01:34Everything about it was fake and corrupt.
01:36We have all the information here.
01:38The good advantage to sitting here is we can get information that you wouldn't get by saying,
01:42what we have and what we are going to be showing over the coming weeks or months.
01:47You're not even going to believe.
01:48Some of you will believe it.
01:49Like CNN will believe it because they knew what was going on.
01:52They're crooked as hell.
01:55CNN's a very corrupt organization.
01:58But with a corrupt reporter standing right there.
02:01Never smiles.
02:02She never smiles.
02:02She's a young, beautiful woman.
02:04Never smiles.
02:05I never see a smile on her face.
02:07I see her standing there with hatred in her eyes.
02:09Like she has hatred because we have borders, because we have a strong military, because we
02:14cut our taxes, because we do things that everybody wanted.
02:18And then we win our election in a massive landslide.
02:22We win 87% of the counties in this country.
02:25Nobody's ever heard of a thing like that.
02:27And that's because we're doing the right job.
02:30And we took a detour down to Iran because we can't let Iran have a nuclear weapon under
02:36any circumstances.
02:37We can't let that happen.
02:38So the reporters should be happy.
02:41They shouldn't be unhappy.
02:42They should be very happy.
02:43Because you know what we're doing?
02:45We're saving our country.
02:46Yes.
02:47Two questions.
02:48One on Iran and then one on your birthday.
02:50Okay.
02:51We do one.
02:52The first one is, are you concerned at all that the IRGC could sabotage any potential deal?
02:58And then the second one is, you have a birthday coming up.
03:00I won't say which number, but it's a big birthday.
03:02So you're going to blow out some candles on a cake, hopefully.
03:07What are your wishes that you'd like to see accomplish the next year for the next season
03:11of your presidency?
03:12Well, I'll go in your order.
03:15Anything can happen, you know, when you're dealing with Iran.
03:18But when you're dealing with other countries, but that's a very volatile part of the world.
03:23Probably the most volatile part of the world.
03:25It's very, the people are volatile.
03:28The leadership, you see what's going on.
03:30We've gone through three teams of leadership.
03:33It's been a, you know, we're military.
03:35There's no, never been a military like what we had.
03:37We could go another two, three weeks and just wipe everybody out.
03:41I'd rather not do that.
03:43Very easy to do.
03:44They're ready to do it.
03:45They want to do it.
03:46They want to do it.
03:48But if we can get something down in writing, which will accomplish the same thing without
03:52killing everybody, I'd like to do that.
03:54Most of my people, I think, would like to do that.
03:57Some people wouldn't, but most of them would.
03:59But we had to take a detour as far as wishes for, and I'm very proud of that detour, you
04:04know.
04:05By the way, just to finish off on that, we had the strongest stock market in history,
04:10and I said, we have no choice.
04:12We have to do it.
04:12I knew it would affect it, but I was very happily surprised when I saw that today we hit another
04:19stock market high.
04:20I mean, we have the highest stock market in history with a military conflict going on
04:25or a war.
04:25Some people call it war.
04:26Some people call it a military.
04:28It's not a big thing for us.
04:29We have a great military.
04:30We have a great military.
