00:26Hello my Scottish Diva!
00:28Hiya! How are you? You look so stunning this dress. I'm actually gagged. Gagged.
00:34Thank you. That's all we need to say because we're gagged. We've got nothing else to add.
00:38You are absolutely smashing it. You're really flying the flag for Scotland.
00:42Listen, when I tell you I have that salt hire in my heart, in my mind, everywhere I go.
00:49California scheming and the testament. How does it feel to be you right now?
00:53Do you know what? I am not taking any of it for granted. I feel like I am getting to
00:58go places and meet people that I never thought I would.
01:01Those two projects, I am so proud of them and I always say I don't think I could have done
01:05one if I hadn't done the other.
01:06They fill two separate parts of my heart and I am so deeply proud of them. It feels great. I
01:13feel very lucky.
01:14Contrasting. It's giving range. Thank you. Thank you. I'd like to think I am a spectrum.
01:20You are such a talent and listen, we're partaking in my favourite activity tonight, which is celebrating women.
01:27Oh, I could do that every day of the year. Why is it important that we keep doing it?
01:31Because it feels like we're just going round and round in circles in reality. It feels like we could be
01:38in the dark ages but we could also be in the future.
01:41It feels like we just repeat ourselves with the problems and issues that we have in society.
01:46I feel like I speak about this all the time recently because of the assessments but it's true that we,
01:52for every step forward we take, we always end up going back.
01:55And nights like tonight are always going to be important because if we need to reiterate these same issues over
02:01and over and how we need to do better, then I will keep reiterating them.
02:05But it's just so lovely to be a part of something that is just celebrating people and actually just recognising
02:10the good that does exist in this world because there is good.
02:12And I think we always just need to take a beat and go like, okay, there is some like loveliness
02:17in existence.
02:34I'm Joan Collins, I'm Jodie, it's an absolute honour to meet you. We're partaking in my favourite activity tonight which
02:41is celebrating women. Why is it important that we have events like this?
02:44I think we should celebrate women all the time. But I mean we are doing it a lot more than
02:50we used to.
02:51Because when I first came into Hollywood, there were no women, producers, directors, writers. There was just one girl, you
02:59know, who did that somehow.
03:02You're an icon, lovely to see you. Thank you very much. Thank you.
03:08Oh, I didn't actually do that. Glasgow, yeah.
03:22Jodie, lovely to meet you. You look absolutely stunning. Thank you so much. We were all just saying, you always
03:26slay with outfits.
03:27Oh, that's so sweet. You always serve. Definitely not always.
03:30No, honestly, like any time I see you in an outfit, I'm like, yes.
03:32Oh, that's really nice to hear. Thank you.
03:35We are partaking in my favourite activity tonight which is celebrating women.
03:39Why is it important that we have these events?
03:41Why is it important? I mean, listen, I think the power of women run everything.
03:50I think anything that ever happens is because of a woman. I think, I mean, we're also, we're like innovators
03:57in all of our industries.
03:59We kind of, we make everything happen. It would be so boring without us. I can't even imagine a world
04:06where women didn't exist.
04:07So I think nights tonight are really fun because we get artists in the room. We get, like, women from
04:15all orcs coming together.
04:16And I think it just, actually just the togetherness and the community. I think, like, our business is kind of,
04:22like, lawless and nothing's ever guaranteed and it's difficult.
04:25But I do think, like, the community of women is something that I always rely on. And I love other
04:31women. Like, I love knowing, I love, like, I need them.
04:34I need to know, like, how they're doing life, how they're putting outfits together and how they're dealing with people
04:39at work and how they're being artists and juggling their own life
04:43and the responsibilities and, like, the fucking load that we have that men just don't have because we just organise
04:48everything
04:48and do everything on top of everything. So just having everyone together and celebrating us, like, it's great.
04:56I'm actually sitting here, like, just in awe. Everything that you've said, I'm agreeing with 100%.
05:01Oh, good. Good. Like, I'm going to let you get on, but lovely to see you.
05:03Okay, perfect. Thank you. Thank you so much. That was amazing.
05:06Thank you. Thank you.
05:20Hello, Amelia. Hi, hello, hello. It's so lovely to see you again. You too.
05:24I know the world has moved on, right? Yes. But I haven't. Okay. Okay. Fair enough.
05:28And I want you to know that I've actually got the title of Jodie Maugh of the Dragons. Nice. Nice.
05:34I like that.
05:34Yeah. I've actually got a baby dragon called Derek. Oh, my God. Amazing. Amazing.
05:39And all of this is because of you. This is very good. I'm very platted. Thanks.
05:43When we're talking. If you look online and you find online, it'll all make sense. Yeah. Okay.
05:47And that sounds a lot to take in right now. Yes. I promise it does work. Okay.
05:50But, Danannis, you are women that have empowered me. Thanks. Thank you.
05:54I mean, literally one of the most empowering characters ever, right? She was pretty strong. Yeah. For sure.
06:01How do you go about normal life now, though? Because when I'm in, like, when I put my outfits on
06:06and I put Derek, I think, I'm going to just slay them all.
06:09Yeah. I mean, yeah, definitely. Definitely there is that. It's funny. It's sort of, you know, you do a show
06:14like that.
06:15And as I was saying before, like, Daenerys gave me confidence by asking me to turn up and play her.
06:22You know, you have to just do it.
06:24Like, there are the lines. There are the people. There's the camera. You just got to go. And so when
06:27you do that, whenever I was in her shoes, I would get this thrill and this surge of confidence.
06:34And then they'll cut and I'll be like, and I'm done. You know, and it would, like, go away again.
06:38But the longer time goes by between now and then, the more I see that she was in me all
06:46and on.
06:47She was always in all of us. That's it. My friends will joke sometimes if I'm feeling a bit low.
06:53They'll be like, you're more of the dragons. Come on, get a grip. Yes.
06:55Do you ever channel Daenerys and be like, what would she do in this situation?
06:59What? It's normally what would Beyonce do.
07:02I mean, that is another queen, so that's very fair.
07:05If I'm honest, quite, yeah, my phrases are normally like, I'm a Sasha Fierce, like, rather than I'm going to
07:12like Daenerys.
07:13But props to Daenerys always, always.
07:16Just when I thought I couldn't love you more, honestly. But this is my favourite activity tonight, celebrating women.
07:21Yes.
07:21I mean, why is it so important that we have events like this?
07:23Because it's easily forgotten that we've just, we're fine now. And we're not.
07:29Yeah.
07:29And there's still a good amount of time yet to come. And we also need to encourage our younger generations
07:37to continue on with what our mums began and what we are continuing and so on and so on and
07:44so on.
07:44And also the women who like, the women who struggled when they were our age and have now found maybe
07:54the right acceptance in our society.
07:56But we still have to make up for lost time, I think. And we need to make sure that we're
08:02still moving forward.
08:04This is it. Listen, I have been screaming internally, trying to keep myself together.
08:09Because you're mother.
08:10I know.
08:11You're mother.
08:12I'm ma.
08:12Yes.
08:13From ma to mother.
08:14There you go.
08:14I know.
08:15Thank you so much.
08:17You're amazing.
08:17Lovely to see you.
08:19Sorry for being weird.
08:20Oh my god.
08:21Not at all.
08:21Not at all.
08:23.
