00:00You have been at multiple meetings with President Trump.
00:03In a moment, I'm going to show you a video of one of these meetings.
00:06It is from last December. It's a cabinet meeting.
00:09I'm going to ask you to focus on President Trump,
00:12and you will see that he is sleeping while you are talking.
00:16Oh my God.
00:16Please show the video.
00:21Products they make and what American farmers grow and produce
00:25has a fair shot to be sold around the world.
00:28On issue after issue, that's been the case.
00:31You talk about foreign aid reforms.
00:32This is not our money. This is taxpayer money.
00:36Secretary Rubio, have you been at more than one meeting
00:39where President Trump has fallen asleep?
00:42That's false.
00:44That's false.
00:45I've never seen him fall asleep.
00:46On the contrary, the guy doesn't sleep, which is a big problem
00:48because he calls me at 2 in the morning, he calls me at 5 in the morning.
00:51And, you know, I like to sleep a little bit, maybe not 12 hours, but at least 6.
00:55So he works, the other day he was at the Oval Office until 12.30 p.m.
01:0012.30 a.m.
01:00I don't know what you're talking about.
01:01Secretary Rubio, I'm going to show you in a moment a video that shows you just lied to Congress.
01:07Oh, okay.
01:08So this is a video of a cabinet meeting literally from last month
01:12where Donald Trump is sleeping while you are talking.
01:16Please show this video.
01:39You are literally talking about issues of war and peace, and Donald Trump is sleeping right next to you.
01:46No, he's not.
01:46If Donald Trump cannot stay awake at these important meetings where the cameras are rolling,
01:52imagine what he's like when the cameras are not there.
01:55So I'm going to ask you, have you been at classified meetings where Donald Trump has fallen asleep
02:01or had trouble staying awake?
02:02I've never been at any meeting.
02:04And the things you're showing me now, he was not falling asleep.
02:06And I think it's outrageous that I'm before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the United States House of Representatives
02:12asking questions about sleep.
02:14You're lying to Congress, Secretary Rubio.
02:16So I'm going to show you another video in a moment.
02:18The President's inability to stay awake on the job has caused other countries to perceive him differently.
02:26They mock him.
02:27They see he is weak and he is feeble.
02:29This is a video of a French news channel talking about Donald Trump falling asleep at a Memorial Day ceremony.
02:38Please show this video.
02:42Well, Mark, a video that appears to show Donald Trump falling asleep at a Memorial Day ceremony this Monday
02:49has been circulating heavily online.
02:51Internet users have a lot to say about it.
02:54It's also reignited rumors about the state of the U.S. president's health.
02:57Now, in the video, in social media, users say that Trump is fighting sleep
03:02whilst he listens to the speech given by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth
03:05and that his eyes appear to be closed for a large portion of the ceremony.
03:10Now, we need to remember here that this is a ceremony to honor and remember those U.S. military personnel
03:15who have died while serving in the armed forces.
03:18And the idea that Trump was asleep at a somber ceremony like this,
03:22well, that has triggered outrage online.
03:25Donald Trump's inability to stay awake on the job shows that there's something very wrong
03:30with his health or cognitive abilities.
03:32And in fact, on a number of occasions, Donald Trump will contradict himself
03:36in literally the same meeting or interview.
03:39In this video I'm about to show, it shows that Donald Trump says the Iranian military
03:44is both destroyed and not destroyed at the same time,
03:47something that Dina Titus alluded to.
03:51In terms of leadership, we've actually left the military alone.
03:57People would be surprised to hear that because mistakes have been made in wars
04:02where you wipe out everybody and then you have a country that's, you know,
04:05for 40 years can never rebuild.
04:07You look at what happened with Iraq.
04:09We did so.
04:10Iran is in a very bad position.
04:12They have no military.
04:13All they have is good talk and they have a fake press.
04:17So, Secretary Rubio, instead of holding North Korean-style cabinet meetings
04:21where everyone goes around the room kissing Donald Trump's ass,
04:24I'm going to ask you to come clean with the American people and the White House as well.
04:30There's something wrong with Donald Trump's health or cognitive abilities.
04:33There's a reason he keeps going to the hospital and they keep giving him cognitive tests.
04:38Yes, we have not seen the president in eight days.
04:41The American people deserve the truth.
04:44I yield back.
04:46I don't even know how to respond to that other than to tell you that it's absurd and ridiculous.
04:50And I can't believe we're in a Foreign Affairs Committee meeting in front of the House
04:53in an important time in American foreign policy.
04:55Just keep lying, Secretary Rubio.
04:57Just keep lying.
04:58I'm supposedly someone who thinks he's a medical expert when he's not.
05:01The truth of the matter is we had a cognitively impaired president in office a few years ago.
05:05That's a cognitively impaired president.
05:07But I don't like to talk about that because it weakens America.
05:09This president we have, this is a guy that literally doesn't sleep.
05:13He works day and night, long hours, every single day.
05:16I don't know if you haven't seen him in eight days.
05:17I saw him yesterday.
05:18I didn't see him yesterday because I was in Congress the day before.
05:21I talked to him at all hours of the day and night.
05:23He works inhumane hours.
05:26I've been on foreign trips with the president that he doesn't sleep in the whole flight.
05:31And everyone else is sleeping on the plane.
05:32And he's wandering in the hallways looking for someone to wake up and talk to.
05:36So I don't know what you're referring to, but he has an incredible amount of energy.
05:40I'm just telling you, you may not like his policies.
05:43You may not like his policies.
05:44You may not like the decisions he's made.
05:46But I assure you, this is not a president that sleeps or is cognitively impaired in any way, shape, or
05:51form.
05:51And in fact, is incredibly active, much more so in many cases than much younger people that are around him.
05:56Those are facts.
05:57I see it every day.
05:58You're not going to agree because you have another narrative that you want to push.
06:01But those are the facts.
06:02I just showed you three videos of him sleeping.
06:04Representative Issa is recognized.
