“I hail from Thailand and spent 9 months as an exchange student in this town during 2022–23. My initial 3 months were challenging as my first host family didn’t care for me properly. However, after I asked to switch families and moved in with this wonderful family, those last 6 months became unforgettable. In 2026, I made the decision to return to America as a summer intern. This time, I even brought my older brother from Thailand along to meet them. I also asked my brother’s girlfriend to film this moment for us. I chose not to inform my host parents about my arrival today, so they were genuinely caught off guard—and even teased me for not giving them a heads-up since they didn’t have any food ready for me! But that’s alright,” Krittanakorn shared with WooGlobe.
