00:00Iran has brought in into the negotiations on the Straits of Hormuz and nuclear has brought Lebanon in.
00:07That was never supposed to be part of what's going on.
00:10By the way, we should also just take a step back and remember why the ceasefire that's in place between
00:15America and Iran,
00:16what Iran was supposed to give up in the very beginning, was opening the Straits of Hormuz and that never
00:22happened.
00:22So we're dealing here with a situation where Israel, I think, purposely and maybe in coordination with the Trump administration,
00:34said that they were going to extend their activities beyond the yellow line in southern Lebanon
00:39and then go to the heart of the Hezbollah complex in the southern Beirut suburbs.
00:46And then President Trump told them to stop. Israel has backed off.
00:51But by going ahead and expecting that they were going to do more, they're still able to operate in southern
00:58Lebanon.
00:58That's the point that we don't know yet if President Trump has agreed to that or not.
01:03We also know that right after the ceasefire that Hezbollah was firing missiles into northern Israeli civilian areas.
01:10And I've known this because for 10 times over the last two and a half years, I've been at the
01:16northern border
01:17and I've seen civilian homes that have been hit by Hezbollah drones.
01:22The Hezbollah drone situation, though, as I know we weren't talking about it directly,
01:26but it should be mentioned, is a very difficult situation because these first person view drones,
01:33Israel does not have an answer to it eventually will as everything happens amongst players and they figure out strategies.
01:41But right now, Israel is losing a good number of both civilians and soldiers
01:46because Hezbollah in its asymmetric war has found a weakness in Israel.
