15:43Official statement by Producers Guild of India.
15:43There have been growing instances of talent directors and technicians re-enaging on their commitments to producers often at the
15:5211th hour.
15:54We, the Producers Guild of India, have also received formal complaints from our members,
15:59Excel Entertainment Private Limited and Panorama Studios International Limited regarding these issues coming up just days before the commencement of
16:08the principal photography.
16:11No member of the industry should indulge in such behaviour that has in these cases led to substantial financial loss
16:19to our member producers, LLS, to other verticals in the industry.
16:24Such actions by any industry member have serious and far-reaching consequences and undermine the spirit of trust, professionalism and
16:35mutual respect of which the film industry is built.
16:40These instances have caused significant reputational damage, adverse impact on credibility and brand value of the films concerned and jeopardized
16:52the livelihoods of hundreds of technicians and crew members who depend on these projects.
