00:24Hi, I never thought I would ever be where I am today.
00:27Once I was a dedicated far-right activist, I hated people of colour, different religions
00:33and the system. I thought, if you worked for the system, you were an enemy of the cause.
00:39But I was wrong. Extremists don't care. They say they do. But they don't.
00:45As a former activist, I know what they are capable of. They will lie, cheat and do whatever
00:51they need to, to achieve their aims.
00:53When people get involved, it's often because people have a worry and go to the fringes
00:59of the internet to be heard, and this is where people end up talking to extremists because
01:05they listen, take time and offer people places to talk. Here, they manipulate these concerns,
01:12feeding people half-truths and lies and slowly but surely, you fall into an echo chamber of
01:20hate. Once you are there, they say they offer brotherhood and value your opinions. But it
01:27is a trap. They simply want to use you. From getting you to be active online, to going to
01:34protests, they will even get you to do things which can get you in trouble with the police,
01:40and this could even end in prison. Now I can see, involvement isn't worth it.
