00:00Oh my god! Juggernaut! It is always as you charge at me with murderous intent.
00:07It's about time Juggernaut, aka Kane Marco, got a proper power adaptation that doesn't just show
00:13off his strength, but also does justice to his story. He's one of Marvel's most unstoppable
00:18forces, literally, but there's a lot more to him than just brute power. He first appeared in the
00:24X-Men number 12, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, and has shown up in movies over the years.
00:30Played by Vinnie Jones in The Last Stand, and voiced and performed by Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 2.
00:35The CGI version was definitely the best visually, but what's still missing is a deeper focus on his
00:41story and character arc. His comic storyline has so much depth, and it's something the adaptations
00:47haven't fully explored yet. Juggernaut grows up hating his stepbrother Professor X after years
00:53of abuse from his father. While serving in the army, he discovers a hidden temple of Citorak
00:59and touches a mystical ruby that transforms him into the unstoppable Juggernaut. Presumed dead after
01:05a cave-in, he later shows up out of nowhere and attacks the X-Men, overpowering them until they
01:11manage to stop him by removing his helmet so Xavier can hit him with a telepathic attack.
01:16From there, his story just keeps escalating. He gets banished to the Crimson Cosmos, comes back stronger,
01:23and throws down with heavy hitters like Doctor Strange, Hulk, and Spider-Man. Over the years,
01:29he teams up with Black Tom Cassidy, wrecks entire city blocks, and keeps clashing with the X-Men.
01:35Even when he loses, like getting trapped in concrete or outclassed by Nimrod, he always comes back.
01:42By the 90s, he's basically fighting everyone from Thor to Deadpool, gets caught up in massive events
01:48like Onslaught and The Eighth Day, and is revealed as one of Citorak's avatars. But every now and then,
01:54he pushes back against that influence, proving he's more than just a mindless force of destruction.
02:00Juggernaut actually tries to turn things around at one point, joining the X-Men thanks to a setup
02:06by Black Tom Cassidy, who planned to destroy the team from the inside. But when Black Tom betrays him,
02:12Kane genuinely starts changing, especially after bonding with a young mutant named Sammy ParΓ©.
02:19That growth hits hard when Sammy is killed by Black Tom, pushing Juggernaut into a full rage
02:24as he goes after him, leading to a chaotic fight that strands them in the Mojoverse.
02:30After that, he briefly joins New Excalibur and learns more about his role as Citorak's avatar,
02:36basically one in a long line of hosts fighting to keep that power. But during World War Hulk,
02:42things shift again. His powers start fading, and instead of sticking to his redemption path,
02:48he leans back into his darker side, reconnects with Citorak, and becomes strong enough to go
02:53toe-to-toe with Hulk. Even Professor X eventually admits that fully redeeming him might just not be
02:59possible. While training his son Scar, Bruce Banner basically goes full tough love and blows up
03:06Juggernaut's house just to force a fight between them. Scar actually pulls off a win in his first match
03:12by outsmarting Juggernaut and tossing him into open space, showing he's not just about brute strength,
03:18but can think strategically too. Later, during the Gauntlet storyline,
03:23Spider-Man finds Juggernaut knocked out cold. The government quickly swoops in and locks him up
03:28in a secure facility. Spidey sneaks in to get answers, but things get wild when a new Captain
03:34Universe shows up, saying he's there to kill Juggernaut. Turns out, it's a guy named William Nguyen,
03:40who wants revenge after Juggernaut wrecked his life in a past fight. But when Nguyen refuses to help
03:46fix the damage under New York and stays focused on revenge, the Unipower ditches him and jumps
03:53into Juggernaut instead. Powered up, Juggernaut actually fixes the tectonic damage he caused before.
04:00After the Siege storyline, Juggernaut ends up weakened and locked in the raft. When Luke Cage
04:06starts leading the Thunderbolts, Juggernaut is considered for the team. Professor X even steps
04:11in, believing Juggernaut might still have a shot at redemption. Juggernaut agrees to follow Cage's
04:17lead, partly because he's been weakened and is now controlled by Nanotech. Then comes Fear Itself,
04:24where one of the serpent's magical hammers lands near Juggernaut. Of course, he picks it up and
04:30transforms into Kurth, Breaker of Stone, becoming even more destructive and smashing the raft,
04:36causing a massive prison break. He heads to California and clashes with the X-Men.
04:41Meanwhile, Magic tries to take over Juggernaut's power by making a deal with Sitorak, but instead,
04:48Colossus gets the power. Colossus manages to hold his own against Kurth until he gets teleported away.
04:54Eventually, during the final battle, Wolverine takes Kurth down using Uru armor, and the whole
05:00thing ends when Thor kills the serpent. Later on, the Crimson Gem shows up again, basically calling
05:07out for a new Juggernaut. Cain Marko, who's finally at peace, still feels the pull and goes after it.
05:13He ends up clashing with the X-Men and others who want the power too. At one point, a guy
05:18named
05:19Amit Adbol grabs the gem and starts causing chaos. Colossus convinces Sitorak to rethink his choices,
05:26and in the end, Sitorak takes the power back from Adbol and gives it to Marko again.
05:31After a fight with Iceman, Juggernaut gets captured by S.H.I.E.L.D., but things don't stay calm
05:36for long.
05:37Dr. Voodoo accidentally summons him to the X-Mansion. Quicksilver tries to mess with him by removing his
05:43helmet, but Juggernaut had a backup helmet underneath. He goes on a rampage and nearly
05:49kills Synapse before Voodoo steps in, traps him inside his own armor, and sends him back to
05:54Sitorak's realm. At some point, Juggernaut joins Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants and helps attack
06:00an Air Force base. But during a fight, it's revealed that Magneto is actually his clone,
06:06Joseph. Juggernaut gets furious, takes him down, and then surprisingly switches sides again,
06:12rejoining the X-Men to help mutants. He sticks with them for a while until things go sideways when
06:18General Callahan forces magic into her dark child form. She ends up destroying the Crimson Gem and
06:24banishing Juggernaut to Limbo. In his solo Juggernaut run, Kane starts off in a rough spot,
06:31completely depowered and stuck wandering around Limbo. He eventually escapes by destroying his
06:37own armor and makes it back to Earth, landing in a hospital to recover. While he's there,
06:42Charles Xavier shows up in his mine to check on him. Xavier tells him about Krakoa, the new mutant
06:48nation, but also drops the bad news that Kane isn't allowed in since he's technically human.
06:53Not exactly thrilled, Kane decides to get his powers back and starts traveling the world looking for a
06:59way. This leads him to the Forge of Sitorak in North Korea, where he finds the Crimson Bands of Sitorak.
07:05They bond to him, restoring his Juggernaut powers, but this time with a twist. His new armor is
07:12something he can summon at will. When Sitorak shows up, Kane basically tells him,
07:17I'm done working for gods, making it clear he's doing things his own way now.
07:22After that, Juggernaut even tries to go legit, taking a job with damage control, though unsurprisingly,
07:29his past destruction keeps causing legal headaches. Eventually, things turn around when Krakoa
07:35changes its rules and allows human relatives of mutants to join. Kane finally gets citizenship
07:41and starts working with Nightcrawler's Legionnaires. After proving himself for a while,
07:46he gets nominated and actually voted in as a member of the X-Men. He's genuinely surprised
07:52and pretty happy about it, and makes his debut with a new team at the Hellfire Gala.
07:58Orcus launches a brutal attack on the gala, killing a ton of mutants. Juggernaut holds his own,
08:04but even he gets taken down when Nimrod shows up and wrecks the team.
08:09During the Fall of X storyline, Juggernaut ends up imprisoned alongside Cyclops in one of Orcus'
08:15facilities. They rig Cyclops with a bomb that'll go off if Juggernaut tries to break them out,
08:21basically forcing him to stay put. Kitty Pryde sneaks in and disables the bomb,
08:25but has to bail before she can free them. Later, when Dr. Stasis tries to steal Juggernaut's powers,
08:31Firestar, secretly working against Orcus, helps Juggernaut escape without blowing her cover.
08:37After getting out, Juggernaut rejoins the X-Men, who are now operating underground thanks to Orcus
08:42turning public opinion against mutants. He plays a big role in their comeback, even helping rescue
08:48Krakoa itself after it's been reduced to a weakened state. When things get intense, Juggernaut charges
08:55into battle against Orcus forces and almost gets overwhelmed until backup arrives in the form of
09:00Apocalypse and Sunfire. Alright, that pretty much sums up who Juggernaut is. Let me know what you
09:06think. Would you rather see a Juggernaut movie or a full-on series that stays true to the comics?
