00:00So I'll be honest, I did not have this conference on my bingo card for this spring.
00:06I know you all have heard me say for a number of years at this point that Myles Garrett, he's
00:13a foundational player,
00:15Hall of Fame worthy and a homegrown talent that's been here for the decades.
00:19And our intent was to have him be a One Helmet player for his career.
00:25And that was the truth.
00:27And even to this day, when Miles' career is over,
00:31we look forward to welcoming him back into the organization.
00:35But there are moments, particularly in my job,
00:39where opportunities come up that, quite honestly, are unexpected
00:45and they force you to stop and reevaluate and look at it and say
00:48hey, is this something that could be really beneficial to the team?
00:53And that was the case in this instance where, you know, it got to a certain point where we looked
01:01at, you know, what the trade details were and we asked ourselves, okay, you know, do we hold here regardless
01:12of, you know, how, you know, because of how emotionally right it felt?
01:17Or do we ultimately make a decision that, you know, we think has a huge benefit, you know, to the
01:23team in both the short and long term?
