00:06water in New South Wales far south coast. A volunteer crew from Marine Rescue
00:11Batemans Bay was assembled after they received multiple calls about a dog in
00:15distress on June 1st.
00:23The dog swam for around 30 minutes to Snapper Island in Batemans Bay, 800
00:28meters offshore, according to reports by ABC. Volunteers spent almost an hour
00:33coaxing the dog to their jet skis.
00:47The dog was taken to the rescue boat and taken back to shore. Council rangers hope
00:52to reunite the dog with its owners soon.
