00:05It feels definitely amazing, you know, going through 12 segments of chemotherapies is a nightmare, and to be able to
00:14do my passion every day again after that means so much to me.
00:19It was actually really hard times for me at the time, I felt like I was a lion in a
00:24cage because I wasn't able to do what I love the most, which is snowboarding, you know, I've been snowboarding
00:29since I'm nine years old, and that was the first time in my life that I had to put the
00:33snowboard in a closet, and to be back competing after that, to be back to the third Olympics after that,
00:42I'm already grateful for all of that, and to win a gold medal today, it's even over that,
00:48so, yeah, I mean, it just feels unreal.
00:52Well, you know, going to 12 treatments of chemotherapies is the hardest thing you can ever go through, or the
00:58hardest thing I've actually ever been through, so it definitely makes you a lot more stronger mentally, which I've been
01:08able to transfer to snowboarding as well, so it definitely changed me as a person, as an athlete as well.
