Russia has banned aviation fuel exports until Nov 30 to stabilise domestic supplies, as Ukrainian drone attacks continue to disrupt refinery operations and reduce fuel production.

00:05as Ukrainian attacks continue to target key parts of the country's energy infrastructure.
00:09Russian authorities say the measure is introduced to maintain stability in the domestic fuel market
00:14and ensure sufficient supplies at home.
00:18Data released by Reuters on Friday showed that Russian diesel production fell by around 10% in May.
00:24That decline followed a similar drop of approximately 10% recorded in April.
00:29Russia primarily exports jet fuel by rail to Central Asian countries,
00:34including Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
00:38Moscow has already imposed restrictions on gasoline exports,
00:42although similar measures have not yet been introduced for diesel shipments.
00:46However, the Interfax News Agency reported last week that Russian authorities
00:50were considering possible restrictions on diesel exports as well.
