00:00Salm, salm.
00:26Welcome to the Mazda Design Space.
00:28Welcome to Milan.
00:30We're really pleased that you could be with us tonight.
00:33But you know, some of you may not know a great deal about Mazda.
00:39But over our 95 years of history,
00:42design has played a crucial role in distinguishing Mazda from other brands.
00:51We at Mazda have been pursuing the expression of dynamic beauty
00:56and puffer motion displayed by animals in the nature.
01:03This is how we breathe life into the car.
01:08I think this process is a very simple and bold approach.
01:15And it artfully uses our code of design language to really set Mazda apart
01:20and really establish a dynamic movement.
01:23Now, throughout the bike, there are some very unique examples of code of design.
01:29So if you look at the red portion of the frame,
01:32you'll see there's areas of fine tension around the front of the frame,
01:36even down to the leather seat, which has this very unique hand stitch pattern,
01:42which is a signature that we actually use directly from the MX-5 interior.
01:52The CX-3 is unique because unlike any other car,
01:56it's formed by fusing the front and the rear volumes
01:59along clearly defined diagonal line,
02:02which releases its energy just before the rear wheels.
02:05The Sofa 2 has very, very clear volume definition.
02:10Unlike the CX-3,
02:11the clean surfaces are free from superfluous design elements
02:15and are accentuated by key precision lines,
02:18like this one on the side,
02:20which gently fade into the main surfaces,
02:23releasing their code of energy.
02:35Master.
