00:16Trade Center Kuala Lumpur from May 29th to June 7th, the festival features book

01:16humanitarian themes and the struggles of different characters, including those held hostage.
01:21For me, I love to focus on the humanitarian issues, so that the second book is about a character's,
01:32how he fights a colonizer, and then the second book is about how another character is also fighting
01:39Balak in a different kind of way, which is now, it's not from the prince's point of view, but from
01:45the hostages itself.
01:47Chu added that she plans to continue the series with a third installment.
01:50Author Saidi Noor Azam, who has been writing since 2011 and has published more than 30 books,
01:56launched his latest horror title, Iblis Perempuan Dendam, under Karya Publica.
02:00He said he has produced a mix of solo novels, anthologies, and co-authored works.
02:05This story is really out of box. Because how many people who have been raised for more than 30 years,
02:1420 years and so on,
02:15still can rise and conquer and conquer and find a enemy. He said that if he can't die, he won't
02:23die, he won't die.
02:25He will rise and conquer and continue to find a source of knowledge that he won't die.
02:32The authors also shared advice for aspiring writers, stressing the importance of reading widely,
02:38starting with accessible formats like ebooks and web novels, and focusing on writing with a positive impact.
02:45If you want to become a writer, first of all, you have to read a lot. And don't expect you
02:52can just write without reading.
02:54Reading is the first step to become a writer.
02:57Reading ebooks or like a comics, nowadays people read a webtoon. So start from this short context and then you
03:03can move on to a lot like e-novels and then change into physical books.
03:09That can somehow tackle the issues with your attention span. And once you overcome that, maybe you can start writing
03:16because you need to read a lot for you to write.
03:19If you want to write a lot for you to write a lot for you to write a positive vibe
03:26in writing,
03:27even though the cover is a lot of characters, the names, the names, the names, etc, etc, that's a marketing.
03:31So people say they want to know what the meaning of writing.
03:34The festival continues until June 7th, with more launches and literary events scheduled throughout the 10-day program.
