00:09Breakfast is served. Hi my name is Sophie. I have set out on a three-day hiking and camping trip
00:18in Sweden and I have brought my boyfriend Frederik along with me. I hope you will join our adventure.
00:33We started the route in the city called Hasleholm here in Sweden at the train station and we're following a
00:45trail called Skåneleden. It's a very long trail. It's more than 150 kilometers going through all of Skåne and we're
00:58just doing a very small trip.
01:00It's a very small part of it over the next three days. The route we're on will take us from
01:07here to down here.
01:19Look at these bunnies. They're so cute.
01:26So cute.
01:31So cute.
01:52There's so cute.
02:07Look at this, there are so many small caterpillars or larva, I'm not sure what it's called.
02:21They're just hanging down from the trees and in this web. Crazy!
02:41The hike that we're on is around 40 kilometers.
02:48And we started here Friday evening and plan to finish Sunday and get back home.
02:57Next week we are actually moving into a new apartment, a bigger apartment.
03:05So that's really exciting. We are moving from just 47 square meters to 97 square meters.
03:17So I think that's gonna be really, really nice. And we are really looking forward to it.
03:24But it's nice to still find the time to get out here in nature before we have to do all
03:32the boring stuff with packing and moving.
03:41We are trying to take a shortcut on the route and it has turned out to be a pretty narrow
03:50one.
03:53I hope that we will make it through.
04:03It's a little hard.
04:20We made it through the shortcut. It was pretty steep. So a little bit tough as you can hear in
04:29my breath.
04:29But now we made it through to the lake. This lake is called the troll lake, apparently.
04:40I'm not sure why. Maybe there are trolls living here.
04:49Not poisonous.
04:51It's, I don't know what it's called in English.
04:55But it is pretty rare to find them in Denmark at least. But when it's sunny, they like to come
05:05out and just enjoy the warm sun.
05:15In the evening. So we really want to find a good spot to put up the tent and came for
05:23the night.
05:24But I think we are kind of approaching a small town and moving a bit away from the forest.
05:35So let's see how far we have to walk to find a good spot.
05:40I have these caterpillars all over.
05:46They have just been hanging down from the trees and are stuck to my sweater.
05:55I keep removing them, but they seem to come more all the time.
06:03Also in my hair.
06:25Imagine having this giant rock in your garden.
06:32That is crazy.
06:37Now it's 9.15.
06:41We still haven't found a good spot to put up the tent.
06:45We're getting a little bit tired.
06:48Or at least I am and hungry.
06:53So I hope that we will reach a good campsite soon.
06:58We did find one on the map.
07:01That should be, I think, 1.5 kilometers away.
07:07So I just hope that we will get there quickly.
07:15The sun is almost gone behind me.
07:20But I think we are approaching the campsite.
07:24And should be there in just a few minutes.
07:29So I hope we will still have some light to put up the tent.
07:37I think this is a popular campsite.
07:40There are five cars parked here.
07:52I think we found our spot.
07:56All the good campsites were already taken by other people with tents.
08:03So now we are going with this one.
08:05Time to put up the tent.
08:07We brought a new tent today from Fjellreven.
08:12They very kindly sent this tent to me.
08:15So I have to say that it is gifted.
08:19It is the Abisko line.
08:23The model is called Friluft 2, I think.
08:28So I am really excited to see what it looks like.
08:32I think it is like these two.
08:35I think it is too much.
08:35Let's see.
08:41Let's go.
08:47It is the only way to take a tent.
09:17Look at this tent
09:20it is really cool a bit challenging to put up a new tent in the dark but we
09:33succeeded and it looks really good let's check it out inside
09:53nice and spacious and you can easily sit up in here that's nice
10:23we jumped into the tent it's really late so we're just gonna have an easy dinner
10:30we brought some cheese and some sausage and these bruschetta so that will be it
10:47for tonight's dinner
11:13we have jumped into the sleeping bags
11:17We are super tired. We ended up walking for 12 kilometers. So actually a bit more
11:26than what I thought here Friday evening. But now we're ready to go to bed. So we'll
11:35see you in the morning. Good night. Good morning. It has been a good night in the
11:46new tent. We have slept for very long. It's almost nine.
11:52Frederik is still asleep. But I think I have to wake him up because I see on the
12:00map that we actually have a long way to hike today. If we need to walk the
12:10entire route that we have planned and we do because we have to end up at an
12:16another small town with a train station to be able to get back. So I think we need to get
12:23up
12:23and get going.
12:34It's pretty fun with this tent. It's almost all mesh. So you can really see everything outside. All the
12:46caterpillars and spiders and other animals crawling on it. Yeah also the ticks. We don't want them.
12:56And because of the construction of the tent you can actually have it without the outer layer. So just
13:05have this inner part with the mesh in the summertime. I think that could be pretty fun to try.
13:11Then you can really see out in nature.
13:19It's such a nice day. The sun is up and it's actually pretty warm.
13:29It's always fun to see your campsite in the daylight when you arrived here in the dark.
13:36But I think it looks nice. The tent looks good.
13:58I think it looks nice.
14:10It's lovely.
14:10I'm so glad.
14:19Breakfast is served some oatmeal with chia seeds.
14:43That was a good breakfast and I actually managed to eat everything.
14:49Frederik says he is not hungry, so he just got a coffee.
14:55Mikkel?
14:56No.
15:02It's the one you've looked at, and tell me what you've looked at.
15:12The one you've looked at, has the one you've looked at?
15:14Yes, it's the one you've looked at.
15:20Let's see if it's the one you've looked at.
15:24It's the one you've looked at.
15:26It's the one you've looked at.
15:27Oh.
15:30I'm looking for the two, I'm looking for the two.
15:46I'm looking for the two.
15:47I don't want to use the two.
15:47You're looking for the one you've looked at.
15:53Everything is packed up and we checked the campsite, leave no trace.
15:59Now we're ready to continue our hike.
16:02We have a long way to go, outdoor content for YouTube.
16:07So even though I found it a little bit intimidating or just felt like it wasn't something for
16:17me to make YouTube videos.
16:21I tried it with his support and yeah, here we are.
16:29So thanks to Frederik for giving me a kind push to start this channel.
16:35It has been really fun.
16:37Now I have been doing it for one year and I've had so many great experiences.
16:43So thank you to everyone who are following the channel and supporting these adventures.
16:58Wow, look at this stone wall and there's like a secret door.
17:05Oh, there is no door, but maybe if you use some magic, maybe it has been the trolls cave.
17:21That's so cool.
17:29Whoa, this looks a little bit scary.
17:36I feel like I can see an eye in there.
17:44Wonder what it is.
17:45Is it like from the wall, a bunker or what's it called?
17:52A little bunker.
17:54So are you going to go in?
17:56You can't go in the camera.
17:57That's what we can do.
18:00There is something that lights out there.
18:02Like a brick.
18:16I have to set the light on.
18:20Oh, dummy.
18:26We are too noobs, too afraid to look in.
18:31Now we are going to keep on walking.
18:41Thanks so much for watching this video and following our adventure.
18:46Now we are going to continue the hike and find a new place to camp for the night.
18:51Make sure to subscribe to my channel to catch the next adventure.
