Senate blue ribbon probe on flood control anomalies to resume next week

The Senate Blue Ribbon Committee will resume its investigation into alleged anomalies involving flood control projects next week, Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano announced on his Facebook Live broadcast on May 29, 2026. Cayetano said the committee would form a dedicated subcommittee to focus on the controversial flood control projects, with Sen. Rodante Marcoleta, vice chairman,  set to issue notices for the upcoming hearing on June 1.
