00:01What do an old steelworks, a 17th century mill and a car factory have in common?
00:06All three are industrial sites and tourist attractions.
00:11Six regions from six European countries are promoting tourism in industrial areas through the IndusTour project.
00:18Together, they have given themselves four years to develop it, share best practices and influence public policies in favour of
00:25industrial tourism.
00:27I think it can be a new trend in tourism because people are tired about overcrowded places and they look
00:37for something special.
00:38So maybe it's a good way for our region to attract these people.
00:46The Czech region of Moravia Silesia, an industrial pillar of the 19th century, is a pioneer in industrial tourism.
00:53Hyundai has its European headquarters here.
00:56The South Korean car manufacturer employs 2,900 people and participates in IndusTour.
01:02Every day, 1,500 cars are manufactured under the watchful eye of visitors.
01:07They offer free guided tours in five languages, three days a week.
01:10Last year, nearly 9,000 people visited our premises during these public visits.
01:19We somehow want to show the price on our cars.
01:23We don't sell it directly because we are not a dealership, we are a factory.
01:27But sometimes people buy the car afterwards.
01:33Dolni Victorvice is the most iconic place in Estrava, a city of 280,000 inhabitants.
01:40The former steelworks closed in 1998 and has morphed to exploit its educational and touristic potential.
01:47With an offering that includes music festivals, a museum, sporting events, a technology centre and more.
01:54Last year was our best one because we crossed the border of 1.7 million visitors per year.
02:02And we are hosting hundreds of hits every month.
02:06The total budget for the project is 1.4 million euros.
02:1080% has been financed by European cohesion policy.
02:14IndusTour brings together six partners from the Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, France, Poland and Serbia.
02:25The industry is also know-how.
02:27Half an hour away from Estrava, the Barto Ceviche meal sets police and anecdotes in motion for locals and visitors
02:34alike.
02:35We have shown us, how we look at the other parts of the building.
02:39One is a catch-man, ovez, žito and pšenice.
02:43Here in the building is made a pšenice.
02:45Here in the building is the first place where I was at the building.
02:49This is the reason why we came here with the man's family to the village.
02:52We had to discover the area here, what is interesting here.
02:56Bye-bye.
