00:00I ran a 24 hours poll yesterday regarding about developing XLOOKUP add-on that will support
00:04older version of Excel like Excel 2019, Excel 2016, 2013, and etc. etc. And you have spoken.
00:13That seems to be a pool of demand for it. And without further ado, here's how you do it. First,
00:17you're going to right click on your worksheet here, view code, and you're going to right click
00:20on module, insert module. And in here, you're going to paste this VBA script here. If you need
00:25a copy of the VBA script, drop me a request on the comment section and I'll guide you where you
00:29can get it from. Once that's done, Ctrl S to save, close the VBA editor. And now you can employ
00:34my
00:35XLOOKUP function in a similar manner to Microsoft XLOOKUP function. The first argument would be
00:40the XLOOKUP value. The second argument would be the XLOOKUP array in column A. And the third argument
00:46would be the return array. And the fourth optional argument is for if the value is not found. After
00:52that, drag the formula right across and format the cell accordingly. And you're done.
00:59.
