00:00Do you think that Cuba is a threat to the national security of the United States?
00:05That's the central line that's put forward by the Trump administration.
00:11Yeah. No, I don't think, no.
00:14They don't have electricity. They don't have power.
00:19What threat can a country that's on the verge of collapse be to the U.S.?
00:25And also, I mean, yes, there are relations with China, with Russia, but certainly those are not new.
00:32And they've had those relations at times where it was much more dangerous for those relations to exist.
00:38So I don't think there's any particular threat now, though, of course, I don't have access to all the information
00:44they do.
00:45But I can't imagine it would be a particular threat now that would justify the level of hardship being imposed
00:51on the Cuban people.
00:52And let me just say, and can I just add categorically that the oil embargo is cruel and unjust.
01:00It's collective punishment. It's killing people.
01:03You know, hospitals can't run incubators or dialysis machines.
01:08There's no fuel for ambulances to get to hospitals.
01:11I mean, it's just, it's a humanitarian disaster that's very likely to get a lot worse very quickly.
01:18So this project can be shared about their permit.
01:18I love it, really.
01:18I'm so sorry.
