00:30According to Iran's Tasneem News Agency, Iranian air defenses intercepted and destroyed a U.S. drone that allegedly violated Iranian
00:40airspace near the southern city of Boucher.
00:43A military source quoted by Iranian media said the aircraft was targeted with an air defense missile after entering restricted
00:52airspace.
00:54Iran's Fars News Agency reported that the interception was carried out by the country's integrated air defense network, operating near
01:02the cities of Jam and Kangan in Boucher province.
01:06The drone was reportedly engaged over the waters of the Persian Gulf.
01:11Iranian authorities say search operations are underway to locate the wreckage.
01:16So far, the United States has not publicly confirmed any loss of a drone, but the location makes this incident
01:24especially sensitive.
01:26Boucher province is home to Iran's only operational nuclear power plant and hosts critical military, naval and energy infrastructure.
