00:00I guess it doesn't matter who you play, but is it more about the belief and confidence in the team
00:05and the teammates right now that you need to focus on?
00:08Yeah, just working on us, that's pretty much it, you know.
00:12It's a really good team no matter who we're going to play, so just trying to just focus on us
00:16and what we're going to do to be better.
00:18Christian?
00:18Mikael, is there anything you guys, I guess, maybe learned from the last layoff and how maybe you guys came
00:23out a little slower in that game against Cleveland that you could apply during this layoff going into the NBA
00:27for home?
00:27Yeah, I think just more mentally, you know, understanding, you know, the time we had off, second time going around
00:33it knowing that, okay, you know, we just got to pick it up.
00:37But I think it helps even just being on the road a little bit, being in a hostile environment.
00:42Let's just get, you know, just get the mindset right off the jump anyway.
00:48Bruce?
00:49I know the job is not done yet, but what kind of satisfaction is there to walk in here as
00:54Eastern Conference champions?
00:57I mean, it's just, you know, to get to where you got to get to, you obviously have to get
01:03to that, to the Eastern Conference finals.
01:07But, yeah, I think we're just more worried about the finals.
01:10How do you turn that page quickly?
01:14We, me.
01:15How do you get your focus on now going forward? Do you just continue on this journey?
01:21Yeah, the focus was never lost, yeah.
01:23Jared?
01:24Yeah, as someone who's been to the finals, I mean, what advice can you share with your teammates with that
01:29experience?
01:31I think just worry about just what we have to do to be better.
01:35You know, I think not getting to all the media and all the stuff, you know, a lot of questions,
01:41a lot of talk about how great we are, you know, how great we've been.
01:45You know, that doesn't matter.
01:46We just got to worry about being ourselves and just stay locked in and, you know, go win.
01:50James?
01:51Michael, you kind of touched on it.
01:53Whichever team you guys play is a 60-plus win team.
01:56And not to discredit the opponents you guys played before, but the two teams in the West are known for
02:00their physicality, their intensity.
02:03I know you can mentally think about that, but is there any way to prepare for that before you get
02:07on the floor with them?
02:08Is it just, is that part of the playoffs, too?
02:10Just maybe game one's a feel-out period in terms of just how this opponent is much different than the
02:15previous one you've played?
02:17I think every team's different.
02:18You know, every team we've played going so far, so it's just the same thing that we've been doing each
02:22round.
02:23Just, you know, we've played the teams, know how they're going to play.
02:26Just being ready for them to jump.
02:29Steve?
02:30Some of the things you guys have had to do in the playoffs, kind of adjusting the offensive styles and
02:34stuff.
02:35Does that help you here that you guys kind of now have different ways to play?
02:39I think it helps.
02:40I think it helps the whole team, yeah.
02:41It's just, you know, just a steady diet of just different things.
02:46Obviously, it's very helpful.
02:50Yeah.
02:51Zach?
02:52What was the kind of feeling after winning the other night?
02:57It seemed like you guys already had talked about it.
02:59It was like, the next day we've got to be back working.
03:03Did it feel like you accomplished something?
03:05Or you mentioned there's always the focus.
03:08Like, was that post-game feel like it was an accomplishment?
03:12Or do you feel like you guys haven't really done anything against them?
03:15I mean, it's just, it's great to get there.
03:18But, you know, that's not our main goal.
03:20So, we've just got to keep going.
03:22Brian?
03:24You, as you mentioned, you know, both Philly and Cleveland had that, they were tired.
03:28They had the short rest.
03:29And people say you guys, you know, took advantage of teams that maybe will retire.
03:33You know, how much are you looking forward to the chance, if you can do this, that you'll be proving
03:37yourselves against, you know, a team that has home court and acknowledged great team and there would be sort of
03:44no excuses for how you did it?
03:46Um, I don't think I really care about excuses.
03:50I think just going out there and just play our way no matter what.
03:54Whoever's out there, you know, don't really care.
03:57Just go out there and just play our way.
03:58And whoever's out there is out there.
03:59Everybody's got to put it the right way.
04:01So much has been made about how special this group is and how unselfish you guys play on the floor.
04:06Where does that come from?
04:08Does it make it a little bit more special to have this group specifically accomplish a goal that hasn't happened
04:13in this franchise in nearly 30 years because of that unselfish play?
04:16Yeah, I think, I mean, it's correct to everybody.
04:19Everybody, how they work, how they grew up playing basketball, how they were coached.
04:24You know, everybody's really unselfish.
04:26And I think even off the court as teammates just unselfish as well.
04:30So I think it starts there.
04:32And obviously our coaching, you know, voices helping us, you know, share the ball.
04:37But I think it just kind of goes with just, you know, the brotherhood we have in there, too.
04:41It's kind of everybody wants to see everyone win.
04:43So we just try to play the right way.
04:46And everybody, I think, pretty much knows how to play the right way.
04:49So that's what's been great for us.
04:50I have a good last one.
04:51With respect to the fact that the city, with respect to the fact that your goals are unfinished,
04:55is it special to see the city reaction?
04:57And have you gotten some reaction from family or someone maybe special after this championship going into these finals?
05:04This has kind of been like an eye-opening moment for you.
05:07Yeah, I mean, it's great.
05:08You know, it's great to see the fans, you know, excited.
05:10I know it's been a long time.
05:13Same with my family, friends, you know, everybody excited.
05:16But I know every single one of them, you know, is more worried about winning these four than anything else
05:23that happened.
05:24So, you know, it's great to see everybody happy.
05:26But I know everybody else, even my parents and family, they excited.
05:30But I know they went through the same main goals, the same goals everybody else on this team does.
05:34All right, the last one here.
05:35Mike was at the end of the game before talking about analytics and how pretty much they're here to stay
05:40now.
05:40What do you like it or not?
05:41Just where do you stand on analytics as just a way of like, I guess, forming your game or how
05:47you need to improve or not improve?
05:48Is that something that you subscribe to analytics or not as much?
05:51No, I think I'll leave it to the coaches.
