00:00And U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly involved in a new corruption scandal, having
00:05become the first chief executive in the country's history whom the Internal Revenue Service
00:10is barred from auditing.
00:11The announcement has sparked outrage among U.S. citizens.
00:15Reporting from New York, our correspondent Harry Camelo.
00:19Pure corruption in its most extreme form.
00:23This is how several members of the U.S. Congress define President Donald Trump's agreement
00:29with the Internal Revenue Service IRS.
00:32This agreement will reportedly grant tax audit immunity to both, the president and his entire
00:39family, both retroactively and moving forward, in addition to creating a multi-million dollar
00:46compensation fund for alleged damages suffered by those who attacked the Capitol on January
00:546th, 2021.
00:55As working families shorten their grocery lists, as they struggle to make ends meet,
01:01Donald Trump has added a nearly two billion dollar slush fund for his MAGA allies and January
01:086th insurrectionists to his wish list of pet projects he wants to fund with taxpayer dollars.
01:15Of all the corrupt things Donald Trump has done, this MAGA slush fund at the Department of Justice
01:21Justice is one of the most depraved.
01:23However, according to analysts, the origin of the initial lawsuit appears even more shady.
01:31The origins of this case start with the fact that years ago, under Trump's previous administration, there was a leak
01:39of his tax statements, his tax returns, that he did not want to voluntarily divulge, which every other president in
01:47the history of the United States has divulged voluntarily.
01:50Yet he didn't want to do that, but somebody leaked it.
01:53So fast forward to now, he's saying, OK, I'm going to sue the IRS for $10 billion in compensation for
02:01the damage that the IRS did for having leaked this information.
02:06And President Trump refused to make his tax return public precisely because of the alleged fraud that Americans were about
02:15to discover.
02:16While a working-class American earning an annual salary of $60,000 is required to pay approximately $6,000 in
02:26federal taxes, the billionaire President Donald Trump paid only $750 in taxes during the 2016 and 2017 fiscal years.
02:38However, as someone well-trained in legal loopholes, Trump knew that in this particular lawsuit, time was working against him.
02:48Since this case was nearing the next court date in which it was already known that his case was extremely
02:56weak because it is an absurd case in which he is suing himself, basically.
03:01He is suing the IRS, which he controls, who is defended by the Department of Justice, and so he controls
03:10both sides.
03:11It is completely self-dealing and absurd and alarming corruption.
03:17Since he knew that the judge was going to rule against him, he decided to cut a deal and settle
03:24this case with the Department of Justice.
03:26He is signing a contract with himself to use these funds for illicit purposes.
03:32Can you believe it, America?
03:33How low can we go with this president?
03:36Apparently, not low enough.
03:39For regarding the famous White House ballroom, the one that Trump claimed would be funded by private donors,
03:45the president is now asking Congress for over a billion dollars for its construction.
03:52Meanwhile, for many, the current physical condition of the White House serves as a vibrant reflection of the economic and
04:01social state
04:01in which the United States finds itself under this administration.
