00:21overseeing Amazon Pharmacy and primary care chain One Medical, among other initiatives.
00:27Worldwide retail chief Doug Harrington announced the transition in a memo,
00:31citing Schoenberg's clinical expertise and experience building healthcare businesses at
00:35scale. Lindsay will remain as an advisor through the end of the year. Amazon has pursued a major
00:41push into U.S. healthcare, acquiring PillPack for about $750 million in 2018 and One Medical for
00:49$3.9 billion in 2023. The leadership change is the latest in a series of executive departures
