00:00First of all, it's a great great job that CINTA is doing and for their members and also in a
00:08way like something very very great, which you all have respect to the artists, so tell us about the entire
00:17idea and also how is it going to be implemented, how is it going to be implemented, how is it
00:23going to be implemented, how is it going to be implemented, how is it going to be implemented, to be
00:25honest, it is not organized by CINTA, we are supporting it.
00:29Because our artist, Hema ji, is honoring him, this whole effort and designing and planning is by him, and we
00:40are only supporting them as CINTA artists and CINTA members, and he has been very generous and Hema ji has
00:47been very generous that he is doing contribute and donate to our organization, so that our needy members can get
00:54help.
00:55So, Hema ji's concern, obviously we heard that you were talking about your memories with Hema ji and your first
01:02film, you know, it was with Hema ji, so tell us like I am so so so interested in how
01:07was the entire experience, and you said that you were only 15 or 16 years old, how was it going
01:13to be implemented?
01:15So, to be honest, when I was doing that film, I had no idea about film stars, my first shot
01:22was with Amitabh Bachchan ji, but when I worked with Hema ji, she looked so beautiful, you know, I had
01:33not seen such a beautiful woman, her eyes, her head, her personality, she was so gorgeous.
01:39And I think that Hema ji is so gorgeous. And I think that Hema ji is so beautiful, she feels
01:45different from maturity, but she has maintained the grace and dignity over the years. She is truly a role model,
01:54that if anyone comes to the industry and wants to become a heroine,
01:58and she has to become a heroine, she wants to become a heroine and I have to be able to
01:59become a heroine, so it will be the aspiration of Hema Malini.
02:03And you had some scenes with Hema ji?
02:06Yes, with Hema ji's work, but after that, I had a film with her, which was Rajesh Khanna ji, which
02:12was the double role of Kakha ji. And then I had a film with her, and I am trying to
02:19remember,
02:20I have also made a film with her, but we used to get the same, and she has always been
02:27a person,
02:29I would say as a woman, if you are a role model, she has been a role model.
02:34And tell us about your memories with Dharam sir, because otherwise, apart from film, personally, you know, socially,
02:44you are looking at it.
02:45I have also made a film with Dharam ji. There are 6 or 7 films with Dharam ji.
02:51I have not done a lot in Romantic lead. I think his first film was Quayamak,
02:55then Satamgarh, then he was in at least 6 to 8 films, I think I have done with him.
03:04And when I worked with Dharam ji, I was in awe of him.
03:16So he was very awe-inspiring, but I would say down to a girl.
03:26So I remember the incident that we all were shooting at UTI, Smita Patel, myself and all.
03:33So our fight directors, Veeru Devgan, and all of them were called Paji Paji,
03:40so we started to say Paji Paji with them.
03:44So one day, we would say, Veeru, don't say Paji.
03:48I mean, Smita was his romantic heroine.
03:52And we were all calling him Paji.
03:55So I think he was such an eternal, romantic hero,
03:58because he had that brotherly, very homely, affectionate feeling about him.
04:07And I think last few times when I met him, I think Karan ki shadi pe mujhe last milethe wo.
04:16He was just very mentally very sharp.
04:19He was always happy.
04:20I have also done a Punjabi film which was called Double the Trouble.
04:26It was a very hilarious film because his sense of humor and comedy was unique.
04:31So Dharam ji ke saath, Hema ji ke saath, a lot of years.
04:36Sunny ke saath, of course, a lot of films were done with Sunny.
04:38So I have been very, very closely associated with them.
04:49You know, Sharam thodi si aati thi, because he was so good looking.
04:54And he had such a personality.
04:56And I was a very shy girl.
04:58Toh mein zyadha baatchit, meri hum-uman nahi te, toh unke saath zyadha wo ek respect and reverence rehti thi
05:03unke saath.
05:04But I would say ke intimidating toh thai wo. Unki persona aasi strong thi, ke you would feel a little
05:12in awe of him.
05:15Coming back to Sinta.
05:17Patili Ram was having like, Dinh Raak, you know, aah.
05:22They make fun of me that I am so, my family also thinks ke aap sara time Sinta ke baare
05:29mein hi souchte rehte hain.
05:46You know, on the contrary, I don't feel kaam kaam ho gya hai.
05:50Kaam toh badh gya hai, film mein bhi ban rhi hai, television bhi ban raha hai, OGT mein bhi kaam
05:56aara hai.
05:56But actors iitne bhaar gya hai.
05:59Eek zamanah tha, Bombay based loog hi aate thai, filmo me kaam kaam kaartai thai.
06:03Toh us time peh mujhe aisa lag tha ki, kaam toh humme industry mein kaafi kaam bhaar gya hai.
06:09Alag-alag platforms aaa gya hai.
06:11But actors aaj kal har kone mein dunia ke, they can reach.
06:15With the internet, with the you know connectivity jo ho gai hai.
06:18Or Instagram, Facebook, loog paunch paate hain film makers ko.
06:23Or film makers alag-alag loog hiya talent dhek paate hain.
06:26Chahe woh insaan yu-p mein kahi baitha ho, chahe bihaar mein, chahe panjab mein.
06:31Woh dhek sakta hai ki, re, ye actor kitna achcha hai.
06:33Uski reel dhekhi, kya achcha dancer hai.
06:36Toh more and more people are coming.
06:38So I think bhaut talent aaa gya hai.
06:41Toh it is spread very thin.
06:44That's why some of the old actors now are feeling that,
06:46Kya humare paas kaam kaam ho gya hai.
06:48And as age bhahti jati hai, toh loogun ka thoda thoda, I would say, suitability har kisam ke role ke
06:55lehi nahi hoti na.
06:56Now when I was playing the glamorous heroine, today I can't play that role.
07:00I have to look for another kind of role.
07:02So woh ek orvi issue hai.
07:05And I know this is occasion to talk about the emojis,
07:08but since you do so much for artists and for technicians,
07:11So there is a question that is, you know, doing rounds and also a lot of discussion happened for the
07:19last year.
07:20We have also spoken on it.
07:21That, and this is in context form, which you have already answered.
07:26That, you know, when there is dearth of work,
07:30should, you know, technicians should be involved in conflict,
07:35when there is conflict between producer and actor?
07:38They should not suffer.
07:40I would definitely say nobody should suffer because of that.
07:45Toh egos mein, fights mein, issues mein,
07:48joh needy loog hain, unko suffer nahi hoona chahi.
07:51Jaisa hum dekhtae hain, joo war chal raha hai hai.
07:52Suffer korn ho raha hai?
07:53Politicians or woh luk bade leaders toh soch raha hai hai,
07:56but nuqsaan kiska hota hai.
07:58All round of people are there.
08:00So that should not happen.
08:02Same in our industry.
08:03Agar kisi conflict ki wajay se kuch kama band ho jata hai,
08:07so that should not happen.
08:08Agar woh luk suffer karei toh woh galat baat hai.
08:12Thank you so much.
08:13Thank you. Thank you so much.
