00:06:19What an honour it's been to be able to work
00:06:22with the most amazing, special people
00:06:25and play this crazy game.
00:06:29It's been a wild ride.
00:06:31I want to kind of start on my redemption.
00:06:34I feel like my whole life, guys,
00:06:37I have been a bit of an underdog.
00:06:40I have been underestimated.
00:06:43And, look, I feel like I was underestimated in this game.
00:06:48Caleb Chaos was almost a bit of a front.
00:06:52But I played a very tactical game
00:06:54and it's literally led me here to be final two.
00:06:59I felt like everybody knew what my mission was.
00:07:04It was the year of the underdogs.
00:07:07I pitched that us underdogs,
00:07:10we are going to really struggle against the best players,
00:07:13so why don't we all unite and get out the returnees?
00:07:17But then I made an alliance with Mark.
00:07:22I played one of the best double agent games I've ever seen.
00:07:27And I put a big blindside on one of the hugest players of the game.
00:07:34Then after that, I managed to stay in the right majority alliance,
00:07:39create the right relationships with the right people
00:07:42the whole time to make the final four.
00:07:44And then me and Loz, we teamed up.
00:07:48We put two votes on Sally.
00:07:50Sally and Jacko put two votes on me.
00:07:53We went to fire.
00:07:54And, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
00:07:56I made the quickest fire in a challenge
00:08:00in Australian Survivor History.
00:08:03Then we went to an individual immunity challenge,
00:08:06and I finally won my first one.
00:08:09I lasted four hours and ten minutes on those pegs,
00:08:12which then led to me one of the hardest decisions.

00:08:24As I was up there, I realised something.

00:08:29Otherwise, we could just get off.
00:08:31And I was like, I've got to take Jackson if I want to win.

00:09:57I had Ben and Brooke, who needed a new alliance, and we gathered all the troops.
00:10:04We looked around at a target, and who'd we land on the big, bad Asha, and then we got her.
00:10:11The beauty and the beast ride it home.
00:10:15Come merge, this is where I made, I think, my biggest move in the game and the hardest move in
00:10:22the game.
00:10:24Ben, I'm, bro, I'm sorry.
00:10:29But I saw Keeley, Brooke, and Simon, and I saw my ticket to the final four of this game.
00:10:35I traded one beautiful shield for three more beautiful shields.
00:10:43Then, lo and behold, come endgame.
00:10:45I have no allies left in this game.
00:10:47The only way through is to win a necklace, and you know what I did?
00:10:51I got myself a two-piece feed.
00:10:54I clutch up, and I fill a hole in my resume in the physical challenge department.
00:11:00And battled my way through to the final three.
00:11:06I fought so hard tooth and nail every day.
00:11:09I got knocked down, and I got back up again smarter.
00:11:13It wasn't survival, it was evolution.
00:11:16I proved that I was the biggest beast in the Beauty and the Beast.
00:11:19I was the only one in Club Kaput that didn't go kaput.
00:11:22And I am going to be the only underdog left barking on the mountain.
00:11:27I'm sure as heck the only underdog that would run side by side with the big dogs.
00:11:33And I had earned your respect.

00:11:39And now I sit here, and I outlasted you.

00:12:49When I came to play Survivor, I had a bit of a strategy,
00:12:54which was to commit as many Survivor crimes as I could.

00:13:14sheet of petty crimes,
00:13:15or is it major crimes?
00:13:19Look, I've got a bit of a rap sheet going.

00:13:24Moments like staying on awful pegs for four and a half hours,
00:13:29or getting out of Redemption Beach.
00:13:30I've got a few there that I kind of covered in my opening pitch.

00:13:41So is there any crime or risk that you wish that you did make and you didn't?
00:13:49I think my biggest risk I didn't take was putting more faith into Loz.
00:13:55I think throughout the game, I had opportunities to really go forward with her in this game,
00:14:01and trusting her Survivor instincts, because she, man, she played a great, great game.

00:14:17I think out of everyone here, you are the one person that didn't come out laser-focused on gunning for
00:14:26returnees.
00:14:26The way that you used us to your advantage, I found incredible and very, very rare.
00:14:36I would just, I don't want to say that we're talking about fear or hesitation to work with returnees.
00:14:45This man right here was not afraid to talk to me on night one.
00:14:49But he also wanted you gone from the first travel.
00:14:52I needed to learn.
00:14:54I needed to learn from the best.
00:14:56And what a better way than to find the best players.
00:15:01And, like, the thing is, Mark, you know, that was really hard for me in the end to make that
00:15:06flip.
00:15:09I'll jump in.
00:15:10So can you claim a move if you weren't the one driving it?
00:15:18Like, I feel like that Mark vote, I'm the one that made the decision that said, Mark's going.
00:15:25Well, it was either you or Mark.
00:15:28And I had to make that decision.

00:16:04I was pretty brash.
00:16:08But I could back it up because I hid myself in very tight shields.
00:16:13And when I made these big moves, like eliminating Ben and placing myself under the care of Keely, Brooke and
00:16:19Simon, I tucked myself away in there.
00:16:21Did I have to continue to drive votes hard every single day?
00:16:25No, that's a good way to put a target on your back.
00:16:27Like, my problem in this game is when people play passenger for too long and hide in the numbers.
00:16:39Yeah, look, I, um, with the underdogs that I had on my tribe, I was also pitching and we were
00:16:46literally waiting for opportunities to strike.
00:16:49And if you weren't such a passenger, can you give an example on a time that you were driving and
00:16:54influencing a decision?
00:16:56When were you in the, when were you in the driver's seat?
00:17:00Every single time working with the returnees, at the same time having my foot in the other door with underdogs,
00:17:09you know what I mean?
00:17:10Waiting and watching for enough numbers there and, and being able to play this big, amazing double game.
00:17:19I, I think that, look, your double agent play and you're flying under the radar and an espionage and all
00:17:26that is amazing.
00:17:28But if you're claiming that, then I'm going to sit here and claim it too.
00:17:32Because in my head, the concept of double agent is simply playing survivor.
00:17:36Playing this game is lying and telling people that you're going with this plan, but actually it's going to be
00:17:41this one.

00:17:52From day one until I got voted off and you could have voted Ben or you could have voted me

00:17:59I literally played a game where I could totally have Mark as my alliance and I would get every single
00:18:09little bit of information from Mark and do the same thing to the other group.
00:18:14At one time, I'm telling Mark all these crazy names from the underdogs, which none of them were real.
00:18:20And at the same time, I'm working with Mark saying, oh yeah, I'm going to do this big Ben boat.
00:18:26I saw you do the double agent thing with Mark and I saw Mark believe you until the very last
00:18:33second.
00:18:34The girls thought that Mark needed a t-shirt that said, I love Caleb because everyone was trying to tell
00:18:39Mark, do not trust Caleb.
00:18:41And yet he still did.

00:18:58You're a great speaker and it's very appealing, and particularly at a final tribal council.
00:19:04But what is bothering me is that you're very focused on theatrics and the big players.
00:19:13However, I think that sometimes as the mayor of Drew Villa, watching people come in here, you've ignored other people.

00:20:31you throughout the last 45 days, it was not personal.
00:20:34Being out here is hard.
00:20:36And a lot of the time, I would only think about the game.
00:20:40I'm one of those people that you ignored.
00:20:45I was on the game with you for 18 days and I watched you have personal chats with lots of
00:20:53people around me.
00:20:54And I really made an effort to talk to you, to get to know you.
00:20:58I could tell you 10 things about you.
00:21:00Did you tell me something personal about me that you think that you asked me?

00:22:23I've always wanted to be a safe place for everyone.
00:22:28And when you're having a hard day, you can fall on that.

00:23:01And it wasn't really until we'd been on those pegs for, like, three hours,
00:23:08I started to see Jackson.
00:23:12And I just want to understand why it took so long.
00:23:21I don't give myself to people.
00:23:24And especially not very easily.
00:23:26I feel like I have a wall up all the time.
00:23:31And in wrestling, that helps because you can just be your character.
00:23:35And it has been a detriment, not just my game, but my whole life.
00:23:40But being out here with you all and sharing redemption stories
00:23:45has really changed me to my core.
00:23:49And it's crazy that the only two things that I feel like have opened me up
00:23:55and made me be vulnerable and changed my spirit
00:23:59are professional wrestling and now Survivor.
00:24:05I dropped out of university to chase my dreams of being a professional wrestler,
00:24:11and I think it broke my parents' heart.
00:24:15I came out here day one just looking for redemption,
00:24:20looking to prove to my mum that everything that I did wasn't selfish.
00:24:25I was doing it for her.
00:24:27And, guys, she's here.
00:24:29She's never left the country before.
00:24:31She's never left Australia before.
00:24:32And she came onto the show, and she watched me go through three hours of hell.
00:24:40She said, I'm proud of you.
00:24:50It's kind of all I've ever wanted, really.

00:51:31They were the ghosts that were haunting me, but also they taught me all my lessons.
00:51:35So, I just went out there and I'm like, hey, if Varys and Kirby and Eileen and Eden and Val,
00:51:41everyone, if they can do these great moves to tribal, why can't I?
00:51:44And so, from day one, I was not holding back at all.

00:56:47chance they'll do the same thing and i can't wait to see them do it hundred percent
00:56:54richard you were on the receiving end of a brutal blind side for mark i mean it looked like you
00:57:00didn't realize he'd betrayed you until the very last vote was that the case yeah that vote didn't
00:57:05make sense to me uh you know i think mark really kind of set himself up there for a challenging
00:57:11uh next tribal council uh but what mark didn't realize was that those ghosts that he was talking
00:57:18to at night they were coming around to us and also telling us vote mark out
00:57:24well johnson you clocked mark pretty early as a master manipulator and you paid the price
00:57:30why do you think people allowed him to hold so much power in the tribe
00:57:35mark's eyes are fierce and when he looks into your soul it transcends the universe
00:57:43it is scary when you look into the man's soul well they might have been the sister wives of the
00:57:50head
00:57:50office but this duo were a deadly force all of their own it's faith and keely
00:57:59who runs the world us faith and i are basically the sister wives to mark he's very possessive
00:58:10they're very very close we need to think about who's next i mean i'm thinking it is
00:58:16i want his pants i love being in control i think this is great

00:59:52challenges absolutely not that was a real shock faith you and keely seemed like kindred spirits out
00:59:58there yeah what do you think made you two such a strong joy we loved the game and i think

01:00:05even though keely didn't necessarily know survivor she wanted to learn we spoke a lot about stuff and then
01:00:11having mark together in that three um i don't know we just had a lot of fun and we really

01:00:18faith you were in such a strong position until you told mark that you wouldn't let him get to the
01:00:23end do you regret that decision now um look i don't have regrets i think that i played a very
01:00:30i played an honest game and i think that was also very much mine and mark's relationship i was honest
01:00:36with him about a lot of things um and i'm really proud that my closest alliance member took me out
01:00:42that um with an epic blind side that was very on brand for me even to the last moments i
01:00:48was telling
01:00:49people what to do which i loved and so yeah i was really proud of my game i don't think

01:19:20power to them i hope these girls can get through and i need something to get me through on the

01:19:27and i needed to show my allegiance to ben and jackson and sure enough like throwing that vote
01:19:32on brooke you know obviously it wasn't great for my relationship with brooke at that time but it saved
01:19:37us on the next one and opened the door for the uh for jackson to come and flip over so
01:19:41like that
01:19:42didn't happen without throwing that vote on brooke well keely everyone's voted you play your real idol
01:19:49for brooke but if you're wrong you'd go home how sure were you that you'd made the right call um
01:19:56i was look i was pretty confident that i had made the right call i got to know these guys

01:20:03and their voting patterns and they were so passionate about getting out their attorneys they wanted to
01:20:08write their name down and put it in the urn so i was i was worried i thought maybe one

01:23:02walked onto the beach with something very personal driving their game caleb you stood on that mat on day
01:23:09one and said you were playing for young caleb what do you think your journey in this game could teach
01:23:15young caleb about himself now look trust myself more you know what i mean because a lot of the time
01:23:22it feels like my heart and my mind are in battle and i feel like that's when i make a
01:23:26lot of mistakes
01:23:27and i should trust myself more trust others more because when i start doing it i start winning
01:23:39loz you came into the game wanting to reclaim your strength and make your girls proud
01:23:44how do you think survivors changed you i definitely went out to prove something and to
01:23:49show my kids and my family how tough i am and how resilient i am how strong i am and
01:23:54through the
01:23:55game i really got to really experience you know being proud of myself so yeah

01:24:20every time you've played you've brought your whole heart to this game what is it about survivor

01:24:36sorry i don't um as a fan of australian survivor watching these amazing players in the first
01:24:46generation from season one through to all-stars to then you know put on a buff for the first time
01:24:53and give it a crack i was i felt like i was just the fan who got their shot and
01:24:57i was not going to
01:24:59leave any stone unturned and i was going to make the most of every single moment every single breath
01:25:04to do everyone proud and do myself proud and yeah i just i've been overwhelmed by
01:25:12what this has given me and it's it's it's been one hell of a journey
