00:27As Barney and Betty Hill were driving down a long stretch of dark road on Highway 3 in the White
00:32Mountains,
00:32Betty noticed strange lights in the sky that she initially mistook for a falling star,
00:37until it moved upward and increased in intensity.
00:40The couple stopped the car to look at the lights and walk their dog.
00:43While Barney was with the dog, Betty looked at the lights through binoculars,
00:47and what she saw shocked them both.
00:49Betty would later describe a saucer-shaped craft with flashing, multicolored lights moving jerkily through the sky.
00:55The duo jumped in their car again to pursue the phenomenon.
00:59It suddenly came closer, much closer, hovering over them in the middle of the highway.
01:05Barney emerged, gun and binoculars in hand.
01:07The pancake-like craft had a window, and Barney could see at least half a dozen figures inside.
01:13They began to emerge.
01:15Gray in color, human-like but smaller in stature, and with massive eyes,
01:19the creatures were accompanied by a buzzing sound.
01:22Barney and Betty entered a trance state.
01:24When they returned to consciousness, seated in the car two hours later, 56 kilometers away,
01:30neither could remember where they had been or what had happened.
01:33They concluded they had been abducted by aliens.
01:35I know you're thinking, well, those are just stories, and what fantastic sci-fi stories they are indeed.
01:43Now, what if I told you that all of these stories aren't merely science fiction,
01:48and that I have proof that there's more to this story than meets the eye?
01:5246 to 1960 brought another wave of sightings, this time across the Western world,
01:58earning the period the moniker the Flying Saucer Era.
02:01The United States, Germany, Norway, France, Italy, and Finland saw spikes in unusual aerial phenomenon.
02:08Most reports indicated the appearance of either a cigar or circular-shaped wingless aerial craft
02:14accompanied by bright lights.
02:15The press labeled these first European sightings as the ghost rocket scare of 1946.
02:20The public and intelligence organizations alike nervously wondered if these flying objects
02:26weren't alien craft, but real missiles originating from the Soviet Union.
02:30When aerial phenomenon sightings increased in the 40s and 50s,
02:33so did the diversity and frequency of aliens in science fiction texts.
02:38The newspaper reporter misunderstood and published Arnold's description as a flying saucer.
02:44NASA's test mission has found its first Earth-sized world in its star's habitable zone.
02:49This means the planet, called TOI-700D, has the potential for liquid water on its surface.
02:56TESS stares at patches of sky for long stretches, recording light from thousands of stars.
03:01Some of these stars have planets that cross, or transit, in front of them.
03:05TESS sees these events as tiny, regular dimmings of the host stars.
03:10One star where TESS saw transits is TOI-700.
03:13It's a red dwarf, about 40% the mass and size of our Sun, and roughly half its temperature.
03:19One set of transits announced the presence of a planet close to the star, called TOI-700B.
03:26Another set revealed a second planet, named TOI-700C, a little farther out.
03:31The deeper, shorter transit means the planet is larger than the first, and the plane of its orbit is slightly
03:36tipped.
03:36A final set of transits showed TOI-700D, orbiting even farther out.
03:42TESS observed this system for nearly 11 months and saw each planet transit multiple times.
03:48Scientists determined that the inner and outer planets are almost Earth-sized and may be rocky.
03:53The middle world is more than twice as large and most likely made of gas.
03:56All three may be tidally locked, rotating just once each orbit.
04:01Now we know there are habitable planets out there in our solar system.
04:07So is this a mother ship from a distant planet?
04:13This object is simply a piece of another solar system that was expelled,
04:19and it has been traveling through interstellar space for hundreds of millions of years, billions of years, we don't know.
04:30NASA and other scientists are unsure what this object is.
04:36So that classifies this object as an unidentified flying object, otherwise known as a UFO.
04:44We don't see that in our solar system.
04:47None of the asteroids in our solar system look like that.
04:49So it's very puzzling how it could have obtained this shape.
04:53NASA and scientists are unclear if this object holds extraterrestrial life or if it's just a probe.
05:00No one knows exactly what this item is.
05:03A messenger that reaches out from the distant past.
05:07What are they not telling us?
05:09Well, I imagine this UFO does carry lots of secrets.
05:14For now, we'll just have to speculate what they are.
05:17A new government report is raising eyebrows across the country, especially among anyone interested in extraterrestrials.
05:24Physicist and Harvard professor Avi Loeb says there's a possibility humans are not the only civilization in the universe.
05:32Loeb teamed up with the Pentagon office that investigates unidentified aerial phenomenon,
05:37and they came up with this draft report that says it's possible alien ships have already visited our solar system.
05:42Specifically, Loeb thinks the first interstellar object spotted passing through our solar system in 2017 could be an extraterrestrial mothership.
05:51He says it did not have the characteristics you'd find in mirrors or other known objects.

08:30And so too, apparently, does the Pentagon.

09:04discussing the topic of UFOs, now referred to as UAPs or Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon.
09:10We are committed to a focused effort to determine their origins.
09:13In 2004, the Pentagon acknowledged tracking more than 140 reports of UAPs.
09:18But today, Deputy Director for Naval Intelligence Scott Bray says efforts to encourage pilots to report mysterious encounters
09:24has swelled the number they're investigating to approximately 400.
09:28Last year, a government report found a definitive explanation for only one of the encounters.
09:33Bray says one video was a distortion stemming from light passing through night vision goggles.
09:37As for a second video showing a shiny spherical object.
09:40I do not have an explanation for what this specific object is.
09:46Bray confirmed that the military has never fired missiles at a UFO or recovered any non-terrestrial wreckage.
09:52Still, the Pentagon says it's determined to remove the stigma associated with reporting sightings.
09:57The inability to understand objects in our sensitive operating areas is tantamount to an intelligence failure.
10:03Unidentified aerial phenomena are a potential national security threat.

11:57why I mean is that to show us that they can do that is that why why would you do
12:04that first of all the world is facing a crisis right now about nuclear weapons I
12:15I don't have to remind you about those possibilities in countries that are trying
12:21to acquire nuclear weapons we have enough and we've had enough nuclear weapons to
12:27destroy every living thing on on earth for a long long time right it would not take
12:33much to start a nuclear war in my opinion and that risk is getting worse so I do
12:41believe that and I think they are extraterrestrial and this is just my
12:46opinion that they are here to at least point to the fact that we are on the
12:53verge of annihilation of suicide if you will our own civilization and they would
13:02like to see us get rid of these weapons and that's the message I got from from
13:08my incident that's my own conclusion okay that this was strictly a message get
13:14rid of your weapons get rid of those nuclear weapons they are not weapons of
13:18war by the way they're weapons of mass destruction right they would never be
13:22used in a real war because it would just be a complete suicide for for civilization

13:36president Bush came on scene on ABC news and it was carried throughout the networks
13:42and in popular mechanics magazine he had with him a general from the Air Force he
13:49was announcing that the general was going to be the head of a new military force
13:53called the Space Force and they were going to build this force and also put a
13:58military base on the moon now nobody questioned him on why what was the purpose
14:05for that but then September 11th comes around the terrorist attack comes this
14:11general is posted as the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and this and the Space Force never
14:19comes about the question I have still why did he want to create a new military
14:26force for outer space unless there's a threat
14:43my question is what should they have done and what should we start insisting the Air Force do they should
14:49have been honest about it they should have been straight forward about it and let the people handle it this
14:55belongs with the people the people
14:58should decide something of this important and not a small group of individuals in and out of government which is
15:04what is going on right now
15:05there is a small group of individuals inside government and outside government
15:10that are controlling this phenomenon they're controlling the technology they're controlling
15:15what's said about it they're spreading this information about it they are controlling the press I think and and that's
15:23how they're keeping it and keeping the ridicule factory going

15:38why aren't they releasing some of these statements by now if you know if you have any reasons for work
15:48I mean I just want to I want to understand this as fast as I can there's no way to
15:52pry open a can unless you have the right tools to pry it open

16:38this is such a complex thing that these secrets are so powerful that the men controlling this men and women

16:50well you know we're kind of forcing their hand as a public because when you release imagery that was
16:56given to you from actual navy high-tech weaponry systems which is the green and the black and white things

17:04when I release those there has to be an answer because essentially what you're seeing is beyond next generation technology
17:12you're seeing technology that far outmaneuvers and outpaces anything we have in our military arsenals
17:17this is a concern from national security look we can no longer deny UFOs are real
17:23there is a UFO presence on planet earth and it's homogenous around the globe in your country in my country
17:28it's time to tell the truth about UFOs they're unidentified we don't know what they are yet but we got

17:43this video was linked to Jeremy Corbell and he put it online and it went viral
17:49Pentagon had to come out and detoxify this information
17:53and admitted that this video was from a navy destroyer
17:59the Pentagon has refused further statements
18:08this is no ordinary sighting of an unidentified flying object
18:12these pictures taken over a six-month period in Gulf Breeze, Florida
18:16are the most spectacular evidence of UFOs ever gathered
18:19while some say the photos are fakes that would not explain the fact that more than 20 people have reported
18:24seeing these objects on the very same nights

18:55he says an object swooped over his car and sent out a beam of light
18:58and it came through the windshield, hit my exposed arms and turned my skin to
19:02like it was asleep, but even worse
19:04and then you don't have any feeling at all
19:06I proceeded to panic
19:08forced off the road, Jim fumbled with a camera
19:11managing to snap this one dramatic picture
19:13a noted optical physicist calculated the object was hovering about three feet off the ground
19:18photography experts say such a picture would be virtually impossible to fake
19:23shooting out of the windshield of the car
19:27through the windshield of the car
19:29and being able to reproduce this object down the road
19:31reflecting on the surface of the road
19:33I feel would be very difficult to do
19:35it's hard to decipher the truth from the fiction
19:38and all those stories we heard growing up
19:41but one thing we know for sure
19:43UFOs are real
