00:25Everybody has secrets.
00:30My family just has bigger ones. They're called cryptids. All the strange exotic creatures that regular science doesn't believe in.
00:39At least not yet. Skunk apes, chupacabras, the Bishopville lizard man. I've been studying these things with my mom and
00:45dad since I was born. And trust me, there's a lot of weird stuff out there.
01:00Oh, no!
01:02Oh, no!
01:08Oh!
01:19Oh!
01:23Oh!
01:23Oh!
01:45I don't know.
02:13So, who wants to tell me what's going on here?
02:18Science?
02:19That's my boy!
02:23Doc, Dr. Frost, there are other people out there like us.
02:27Okay, not exactly like us.
02:30They're scientists mostly, like my mom and dad,
02:33all working together to solve the mysteries of the universe first
02:36so that the bad guys never get the chance.
02:39They call themselves secret scientists.
02:41I mean, I would have gone with something like blaster minds or destructo brains,
02:45but nobody asked me.
02:47I mean, UFOs, quantum physics, paranormal abilities.
02:52Anywhere there's a secret left to uncover, they've got somebody working on them.
03:06And the cryptids, that's what we do.
03:10Any kind, any size, anywhere in the world, the Saturday family is going to get the call.
03:15So, yeah, two scientists, their kid, a Komodo dragon,
03:19and a seven-foot gorilla cat called a Fiskerton phantom.
03:23We're the only ones standing between you and all the things that go bump in the night.
03:28That's gonna make you feel safe, huh?
03:29Huh?
03:34I don't know.
04:05I don't know.
04:48I don't know.
04:59I don't know.
05:00You couldn't have known!
05:01I've been so careful!
05:03Greetings and bienvenue, Dr. Chiveo.
05:07My name is Vivi Argost.
05:10You may recognize me from my delightful television program, Vivi Argost's Weird World.
05:16Or perhaps from the time you and your friends broke into my home and stole a wonderful giant stone from
05:24me.
05:25Did I mention I'd very much like it back?
05:31Do you think your cryptid influencing powers can handle this?
05:35A frog?
05:36Every cryptid is different, Zach. There's still so much we don't know about this thing you can do.
05:42It's a controlled experiment.
05:44He's got to test the extent of his abilities sooner or later.
05:47I'd rather it happened with his parents right next to him.
05:50And it is a frog.
05:53Remember, the hand of Sul Kalu is just an artifact, a tool to help you focus.
05:59See, you're the one with the power.
06:03Find your center.
06:04Let your instinct tell you when to...
06:06Mom!
06:06I got it.
06:24Not food.
06:27The legendary Cameroon flashlight frog.
06:30I'd say we verified the existence of another cryptid.
06:33Nicely done, Zach.
06:34Oh, you like that, huh?
06:37Zach Saturday working the cryptid powers.
06:40Frog on, frog off.
06:41Frog on, frog off.
06:44Please don't toy with nature.
06:46Frog on?
06:46I'd like to measure the lumens on that glow.
06:49Think you can keep the connection going, Zach?
06:51No problem.
06:51Now don't push the hand of Sul Kalu too hard.
06:54Mystical objects are unstable things.
06:57It's okay, Mom.
06:59Careful with the tongue, Zach.
07:00Its saliva is highly toxic.
07:02Dad, really? I can...
07:03Marling, let him focus.
07:05He's losing it.
07:05Mom, I'm fine.
07:07Give me three more seconds, Zach.
07:09Okay, break it off.
07:10Rick, it's too much.
07:14Guys, really?
07:15I got it.
07:22I got it.
07:23I got it.
07:42That's from home.
07:43Somebody tripped the alarm system?
07:45Cool, a break-in.
07:47No, don't even think about it.
07:49You know the rule.
07:49Any sign of a fight, you boys stay in the airship.
07:52Ugh, dang.
08:00Where is it?
08:03We've turned this whole compound over top to bottom three times.
08:08Our house said it would be here.
08:14Did you check under the bed?
08:17You think this is funny?
08:19What's the first thing I taught you?
08:21Well, reputation, that's what the people pay me for.
08:25If that chock-faced freak gave me bad information, it's his fault the job doesn't get done.
08:31But we will bill him anyway.
08:33Now you're learning.
08:41Another new apprentice van Rook?
08:43Didn't you warn him what I did to the last one?
08:47He did.
08:48I'm better.
08:51Prove it.
08:55Drew, you're looking hot as ever.
09:21Why would you throw a TV?
09:23I'm sorry.
09:23I-I just-I get in the zone.
09:31I told you two charges at a time was plenty.
09:35The other six come out of your bay.
09:47Told you I was better.
09:54Time to go boom.
10:04Boom.
10:13You could have mentioned the sword.
10:25You let him surprise you with concussion grenades?
10:29Rookie.
10:30Oh, that wasn't you I saw tied up in Van Rook's multi-bowl-up.
10:34Who saved who, big man?
10:37Mwah.
10:43Back to Saturday, to the rest-
10:45Oh.
10:54Oh, what?
10:55You knew I wasn't going to stay in the airship.
11:04So, any idea what Van Rook and his new sidekick were after?
11:07Pretty bold to attack us at home, don't you think?
11:09Gotta be something big.
11:11Don't try to change this subject.
11:12You're still in trouble here.
11:14I'm just trying to be part of the team.
11:16You're not our partner, Zack.
11:18You're our son.
11:19And I don't think bringing you into a fist fight with mercenaries is going to win us any
11:23Parent of the Year awards.
11:25Dad, come on.
11:27Talk to her.
11:28You're the one who told me to test my abilities.
11:30Well, that's true.
11:33But I'm 100% with your mother on this one.
11:35There's a clear line between adventure and danger.
11:37And we're trying to keep you on the safe side of that line.
11:42The Chalmykian snakes were different.
11:44We didn't know they exploded.
11:46Yeah, but I handled it.
11:48Look, I'm not saying I want to go looking for trouble.
11:50I just think I'm ready to do what you guys do.
11:53You know, fight the bad guys, save the world.
11:56You know you're 11.
12:00We'll talk later.
12:02Move it.
12:03Talk about what?
12:04Talk about...
12:05He's 11!
12:08Doc, answer.
12:11Oh, thank heaven you're all okay.
12:14Miranda, what happened?
12:17Argus's beastly stewed, that one.
12:19Paid me a visit.
12:21Are you all right?
12:22No, I'm not all right.
12:25He took my piece of the stone.
12:27Stone?
12:30Van Rook.
12:32That must have been what he came for.
12:34You two.
12:35Did you get it, Finn?
12:36No, no, no.
12:37Ours is all right.
12:38But, but Henry, I've been trying to reach him.
12:41Nothing.
12:42Let me pull up satellite coverage on his observatory.
12:47Zack?
12:49Why do we have 19 recorded episodes of B.B. Argos' Weird World?
12:54Uh, research?
12:55Know thy enemy?
12:56Forgive me, children.
12:59My little pets get so excited when I have visitors here at B.Ed World.
13:06Mm-hmm.
13:08It's saved under favorites.
13:10Well, maybe research is my favorite.
13:16No satellites in the area right now.
13:19We'll check it out in person, Miranda.
13:21Be careful.
13:22Hey, it's us.
13:23You're taking him along with me?
13:25No, I did not say he...
13:27Sorry, Dr. Gray, gotta go.
13:29Come on, people.
13:30Action time.
13:31This is our...
13:45Nasty.
13:46Sorry, I didn't tidy up.
13:48Didn't know I'd be having company.
13:50Looks like you got the worst of it.
13:52Who was it?
13:53Argos himself.
13:55Argos was here?
13:57Yes.
13:57And he blew up my lab.
13:59How cool for me.
14:01Right, bad guy.
14:03I hear he puts on a pretty good TV show, though.
14:06Really?
14:08Apparently, my son has been doing a lot of weird world research.
14:13Well, if your research finds a way to get my stone piece back from Argos, let me know.
14:19He got it?
14:20Then it's starting again.
14:22Okay, guys, seriously, with the mystery, do I get to know what's going on here?
14:25What's starting again?
14:27What stone pieces?
14:31The Kerrstone.
14:35Key to finding the ancient Sumerian beast called Kerr.
14:39According to the legend, whoever controls the cryptic Kerr controls the world.
14:46Ultimate, limitless power.
14:51Kerr can give it to you, and only the stone can lead you to Kerr.
15:03Your mother and I led the team that discovered the stone.
15:06At first, we didn't even know what we had.
15:09But somebody else did.
15:14Argos disguised himself as a member of our crew,
15:17and by the time we found out, he was already gone.
15:20With the Kerrstone.
15:25The secret scientists tracked him down to Weird World.
15:30We went in with a team of 50.
15:33By the time we left that house of horrors,
15:39there were only seven of us.
15:41Argos escaped.
15:42But we got the stone.
15:44And now that we knew what it was,
15:46we decided this was one secret that needed to stay secret.
15:50Even from ourselves.
16:01We split it into three pieces.
16:04Each left in the care of a different secret scientist.
16:07As long as we kept them apart,
16:08the key to finding Kerr was safe.
16:10But you didn't keep them apart.
16:12Argos just got two of the pieces, right?
16:15And you guys have the only one that's left?
16:17Yes, but...
16:18Then why are we sitting around here?
16:19We have to get back home before Argos does.
16:23Zack, Zack, relax.
16:24Our piece isn't at home.
16:26We found a hiding place in the Amazon River Basin years ago.
16:30What?
16:31You've left it unguarded all these years?
16:33Give us some credit, Henry.
16:35I did not say it was unguarded.
16:37No, he's right, Mom.
16:39Argos knew where to find two of the pieces.
16:41How do you know he didn't already find the third?
16:44Why did Dad build a super-fast airship if we're not going to use it?
16:47We should go now.
16:49Back me up, Fisk.
16:51Huh?
16:52Zack, even if Argos knew where to look...
16:55No!
16:55We have to go get it.
16:57Find some other way of keeping it safe.
16:59It is safe, and I really don't think you're in the best shape for a trip to Manaus, Henry.
17:04This isn't just your decision.
17:06The whole world is affected by...
17:08Komodo!
17:09Oh, God!
17:10No, bad dragon!
17:11Bad boy!
17:12Ow!
17:12Get down!
17:15Uh, Mom?
17:18What's...
17:18Huh?
17:20It's a neural parasite.
17:22It feeds on impulses from the nervous system, converting them to radiant energy waves.
17:26Everything Henry sees and hears is being broadcast to anyone who knows how to tune in.
17:31He's listening right now, isn't he, Henry?
17:34Argos.
17:35I...
17:36I'm sorry.
17:37He heard everything.
17:39I just couldn't fight him again.
17:42I'm sorry, I'm...
17:43I'm sorry!
17:44I can't...
17:46Henry!
17:48Greetings and bienvenue, Saturdays.
18:04Dad, that's...
18:06No.
18:06No, this is impossible.
18:08The parasite doesn't transmit both ways.
18:10Impossible?
18:11Only one with a tragic lack of imagination would use such a vulgar word.
18:17We deal with cryptids, my dear.
18:20We live in the world of impossible.
18:23Where are you, Argos?
18:25Eleven years you've kept my prize from me.
18:29Eleven years of tracking down which of you miserable so-called scientists had pieces of the curved stone.
18:39Eleven years of planning this operation to perfection.
18:43I wouldn't call two out of three pieces perfection.
18:46We'll see about that in Manaus, won't we?
18:52Fisk, no!
18:54Dr. Chiveo's still in there somewhere.
18:56We can't hurt him.
18:57Sweet little boy.
18:59I've waited eleven years for this.
19:02What makes you think I'd let anyone else do the hurting?
19:07The Al-Kassim Firecracker Beetle.
19:11Nature gave it a highly flammable, defensive spray.
19:20All I give it is a spark.
19:28Heads up!
19:50No, he promised he wouldn't hurt you.
19:53Huh?
19:59Run!
20:03No!
20:04You have to stop Argos!
20:11Here's the plan!
20:12I'll tie the tether line!
20:13We've got one chance to get this right!
20:15Good!
20:18Everybody okay?
20:26You know, in my plan, nobody got power wedgied at 6,000 feet!
20:31I'm sorry, baby.
20:32I grabbed the first thing I could.
20:34How is he, Odele?
20:35Henry took the worst of that blast.
20:37But he'll be okay.
20:39Argos must be on his way to Manaus already.
20:42He can't be allowed to get that last piece of the curved stone.
20:44It's going to be dangerous.
20:46Why don't you leave Zack with me until you get back?
20:49Wait, what?
20:50We get the biggest mission of my life, and you're leaving me with Odele?
20:54Zack?
20:55Is this still about the Congolese giant spider stampede?
20:58I told you that was an accident.
21:00Fiskard didn't dare me to throw the rock at the web.
21:03Really?
21:03Odele?
21:05Come on, what was I supposed to...
21:06Zack!
21:07You're coming!
21:08Wait, really?
21:09Really?
21:10I don't like the idea either, Drew.
21:12But we might need him.
21:14No.
21:14No, I'll handle Argos myself if I have to.
21:17It's not Argos that I'm worried about.
21:21Okay, whatever's going on, I'm sounding really important in it.
21:25Tell me more.
21:27Manaus, Brazil.
21:28The heart of the Amazon rainforest.
21:31The last curved stone piece is buried here.
21:33It's a watering hole for the Tapire Iwata,
21:36one of the most dangerous cryptids in South America,
21:39amphibious, predatory, fearless.
21:42They're why we chose this hiding spot,
21:45nature's security system.
21:47We watched that riverbank for weeks,
21:48just to get a safe five-minute window to bury the stone.
21:53If we can't stop Argos before he gets there,
21:55we'll need to hold off those cryptids long enough to retrieve the stone piece.
21:59You need my powers.
22:01Yeah, I can do that.
22:03Bobby?
22:05Don't worry about it, Fisk.
22:06I'm sure you're important in this plan, too.
22:08Yeah.
22:10Absolutely.
22:11There's a reason.
22:42There's a reason.
22:45There's a reason.
