00:00I'm going to admit, it's not easy. I had to go digging today, but we found them, not to fear.
00:05AutoZone, so this stock is down 5% right now, even though third quarter sales were better than
00:11expected, boosted primarily by growth in the car parts retailers' domestic business. It's really
00:17the international sales growth that's disappointing investors. Growth there in Mexico and Brazil up
00:231.6%, but Wall Street was looking for better. It's been disappointing for the past few years,
00:28so Wall Street was hoping that last quarter was going to be the quarter that they were going to
00:32come out and actually beat the street. They did not. Revenue, $4.8 billion, just about in line with
00:38estimates, actually fell below some of the more optimistic forecasts out there on Wall Street.
00:43Same store sales, though, increased 5.5% from the prior year. But an analyst over at TD Cowan,
00:48even before this report came out, said that AutoZone faces a mixed setup with foreign currency
00:54headwinds and margin pressures. And we saw that here. He said that if they opened up more of these
00:59mega hub stores, have you seen these mega hubs on the roads? Yeah, right off the highway is usually
01:05where they are. He said that should help increase inventory availability and speed up delivery to
01:10customers the more they open. Here's the crazy stat. The average age of a passenger car in the
01:14United States, 14 years old. What? I had no idea that was that number. Where are you getting this
01:20information? I'm getting it from the interweb. Okay. Well, thank you. We haven't done enough
01:26on this. We should do, like, in the autumn, we should do, like, a whole auto update. I mean,
01:31Joe's Auto's in Manisquan parking lot is packed with cars he's working on. Packed. It's unbelievable.
01:37See, I just wonder how many people DIY their cars, which is where an AutoZone sort of comes in.
01:42You know, I like to just roll it into the place and say take care of it. What's the insurance
01:46on a
01:47$100,000 or $120,000 car? Oof. Yeah. It's like a big check every month. Yeah. Absolutely.
01:53Well, you know what? You just, I'm going to switch it up control room. Sorry, guys. I'm going to go
01:57with Ferrari now. I know I said, can she do that? It's just a better segue. She's a player.
02:02How come she gets to tell the control room what to do when I don't? Next. Size on my side.
02:07All right.
02:08Ferrari. I love their ticker symbol, of course, race, R-A-C-E. Down more than 3%. Guys,
02:14critics are panning its first fully electric vehicle, the Ferrari Luce. And I think in
02:18Italian, we would say Luce. Luce. Luce. No, but it's light. Ah, okay. Like Dolce is sweet.
02:24Dolce is sweet. Come on. Okay. See how our hands do the Italian? I know. You got to go. You
02:27got to speak
02:28with the hands when you speak of the Italian. Yep. All right. So this was designed by Apple's former
02:33head of design, and it's coming under a lot of criticism for looking just like everything else
02:37out there. In fact, one analyst went as far as to say it's a mix between a Honda Accord EV
02:42and a Tesla 3. Okay. At $640,000, that's a rough comparison. Yeah. When I'm buying a Ferrari,
02:50I know exactly what I want to get, and that's probably not it. A Ferrari EV, yeah. I don't
02:55want it. I want it loud, you know, very cool looking, like Matt Miller would drive, you know.
03:00There you go. Lamborghini and Porsche, they put their EV, you know, aspirations on hold. So Ferrari's
03:06out there with this Luce, and we'll see what they do. You got one more, or is that it?
03:10I do. No, I do have one more, and it's Eli Lilly agreeing to buy three vaccine developers
03:15in a deal worth as much as $4 billion. All three of them are privately held companies,
03:19but this is going to mark the drug maker's re-entry into the infectious disease space.
03:25And so analysts say this could be a way for Eli Lilly to expand beyond those lucrative obesity drugs.
03:31So we're going to make sure you get the same.
03:32So we're going to make sure you get the same.
03:32So we're going to make sure you get the same.
03:32So we're going to make sure you get the same.
