Lapid clarifies he's still with minority group in Senate

Sen. Lito Lapid speaks before the plenary on May 26, 2026 to debunk talk on social media that he was no longer a member of the minority bloc. Lapid made the clarification after he failed to stand up, along with his peers, to denounce a video by Sen. Imee Marcos linking the minority to Charter change, which she presented on May 25. The minority had the video stricken off the record.
