Doctors battling the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are facing attacks on hospitals, fleeing patients and severe operational challenges as the virus spreads rapidly.

More than 900 suspected cases and 220 suspected deaths have been reported, while Uganda has confirmed seven cases linked to the outbreak.
