00:01:31Taylor Swift came to win.
00:01:33I mean, this is the easy conference finals.
00:01:35They had a good game.
00:01:36Oh, it's unbelievable.
00:01:37They just couldn't finish.
00:01:38You know, Chuck Skr, they just tased Ryan.

00:02:07You are beautiful.
00:02:09The internet's going up.
00:02:10And thank you.
00:02:12Radio PG.
00:02:15Welcome back.
00:02:16Eastern Conference Finals is presented by Duncan.
00:02:19This is Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
00:02:22With Trell Sprewell, Larry Johnson, Bernard King with the fans cheering on the Knicks,
00:02:27hoping for a clincher tonight here in Cleveland.
00:02:31And, of course, the celebrities, some Knicks fans here.
00:02:33Kylie and Timothy.
00:02:35Ben Stiller, who's a rabid, rabid Knicks fan.
00:02:42Now, right now at halftime, 68-49.
00:02:46Knicks in control.
00:02:47They led by as many as 29.
00:02:49And Cavs went on a little bit run, but still a 19-point deficit.
00:02:52Hi again, everyone.
00:02:53With Richard Jefferson, Tim Legler, Mike Green on hand.
00:02:55We'll check in with Lisa in a moment.
00:02:57What's your overall thought of what you saw in that first half?
00:02:59About 26 fast break points.
00:03:00It's an obscene number.
00:03:01I mean, it takes two things.
00:03:03Intent to run, which the Knicks clearly had.
00:03:05But RJ, it also takes a lack of commitment, right, and a casual approach to your retreat defensively.
00:03:12And the Knicks took full advance.
00:03:13That's just not good enough on the part of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
00:03:17And this is things that aren't good enough in the regular season.
00:03:20They're not good enough in a game one.
00:03:22They're certainly not good enough.
00:03:23If you're trying to extend your season, the Knicks are playing like the more desperate team.
00:03:29They're getting downhill.
00:03:31Second chance points, 16 Knicks.
00:03:33Cavaliers, 2.
00:03:34That's our cold under pressure brought to you by Coors Light.
00:03:39And the Knicks, again, they've talked about the fast pace.
00:03:42Remember, the Cavaliers, in terms of their schedule, they've played every other day since April 29th.
00:03:50Tonight's the 13th consecutive game on every other day's schedule.
00:03:53They've even mentioned about tired legs, and Mike Brown is trying to take advantage of that.
00:03:58Towns comes up short.
00:03:59Josh Hart comes in for the rebound.
00:04:02And Anobi lines up the three-pointer.
00:04:04That won't go.
00:04:04Hart keeps it alive, but Mobley grabs it.
00:04:06And these first couple of minutes of the third quarter clearly are critical.
00:04:12Struce throws it up, and Allen throws it down.
00:04:14And if you're the Cavaliers, I understand that the task is large.
00:04:18But let's start with a small piece.
00:04:20Make the Knicks call the first timeout.
00:04:24Allen dissuades Towns from even trying a shot.
00:04:27And see Allen now backing off Hart.
00:04:31Bridges goes at Harden, hits inside.
00:04:33Another falling-away shot.
00:04:34In and out won't go.
00:04:35Mobley with a rebound.
00:04:38Out of a Mitchell, big score in first half.
00:04:40Harden tries.
00:04:41Harden's three won't go.
00:04:43Mobley the rebound.
00:04:43Head fake.
00:04:46And he kicks it back out to Struce.
00:04:48Struce, bad pass stolen by Hart.
00:04:52Hart kicks it back to Ananobi.
00:04:54Spins against Struce.
00:04:55Leans in.
00:04:56Layup can't get it.
00:04:57Hart the rebound.
00:04:58Back up and in.
00:05:01Josh Hart now seven rebounds, five assists, six points.
00:05:04A little bit of everything.
00:05:05And it's back to 19.
00:05:10Donovan Mitchell, 20 points in the first half.
00:05:12But three fouls.
00:05:17Mitchell tied up.
00:05:19Throws a bullet pass to Harden.
00:05:20Down low to Allen.
00:05:22And Allen foul.
00:05:24Let's check in with Lisa.
00:05:26Yeah, Mike.
00:05:26Well, I asked Kenny Atkinson what he said to his guys in the locker room.
00:05:30And he said, you know, it felt like we kept our composure even in the second quarter when the lead
00:05:35got up to 29.
00:05:37He said, so I think our spirit is still there.
00:05:39He said it helped us out a little bit going to zone.
00:05:41But he said the micro goal in this third quarter to cut it to 10 points.
00:05:46He said, overall, though, our guys are staying positive.
00:05:49He hopes.
00:05:50All right, Lisa.
00:05:51As that foul came before any upward motion or any shot attempt, so a side out.
00:06:01Bridges chasing Harden.
00:06:03Bridges' job on Harden and Maxey in the last round have been excellent.
00:06:06Jared Allen, little hook shot, can't get at the fall.
00:06:09And Carl Anthony Towns grabs another rebound, his 11th.
00:06:13Ananobi running the floor inside.
00:06:14Blocked, but a foul.
00:06:17Again, advantage early.
00:06:18And that's, I know, Jared Allen had a great opportunity in the middle of the floor one-on-one.
00:06:22Stood up by Ananobi.
00:06:24Not able to get off, really.
00:06:25An unbalanced shot.
00:06:27But once again, that's four calves on one side of the floor.
00:06:30So you're not communicating so that you have balance defensively to cover both lanes.
00:06:36Now there's a wide-open cutter to the rim.
00:06:40Struis, his second foul.
00:06:44Ananobi, seven points.
00:06:47And it hits the free throw upcoming conference final schedule.
00:06:50NBC Peacock tomorrow at critical game five in OKC.
00:06:54Thunder and Spurs all tied up at two apiece.
00:06:58Now if the Cavs come back and win this one, we'll have game five on Wednesday back at New York's
00:07:03Madison Square Garden.
00:07:04Eight o'clock start on ESPN.
00:07:06Mike, we've used the word desperation a lot in terms of what the Cavs needed to represent.
00:07:10That is what you saw out of the San Antonio Spurs last night.
00:07:13That's about as physical a defense as you are going to see in a commitment to get that series back
00:07:20to 2-2.
00:07:22Nice passing from the big man.
00:07:23Mobley to Allen.
00:07:25And Jared Allen, easy puckering.
00:07:26That's a beautiful offense right there from the Cavs.
00:07:28Yeah, but that passing was needed because of the defense from the Knicks.
00:07:32They kept moving that ball.
00:07:34Right now the Knicks aren't having to make those same passes.
00:07:37Hart spins and lost it.
00:07:39Out of my mouth.
00:07:41Cast ball.
00:07:42For the Knicks, that's only their fifth turnover.
00:07:45And the zone, I think, is the only thing right now that you can do defensively.
00:07:48It's taking away the off-ball cutting.
00:07:51Mitchell fouled by Hart.
00:07:54Hart upset with what he thought was a non-call down the other end.
00:07:57And Mitchell's going to take some free throws as Hart picks up his second.
00:08:02Again, Donovan Mitchell.
00:08:04They've been trying to get Brunson in more and more.
00:08:07And that could have been an offensive foul.
00:08:10Ends up being free throws for Donovan Mitchell.
00:08:12That would have been the fourth, although it didn't seem Brunson was set.
00:08:16But Mitchell did initiate the contact.
00:08:19Look, and I think the way that Brunson's gone at both of those guys,
00:08:23when he's gotten one-on-one coverage on some type of switch,
00:08:26that means when they get an opportunity,
00:08:28they need to put him in the exact same position on this end of the floor.
00:08:30And you've seen more of that tonight.
00:08:32But I don't think we've seen enough of it.
00:08:34If you're looking around at this elite, you have all defensive players.
00:08:38You have so many active players.
00:08:39If Brunson is the one person that you can attack,
00:08:42you have to adjust your game plan.
00:08:44Maybe get him in foul trouble.
00:08:46Maybe take some energy off of him offensively.
00:08:48There are more attacks that you can put him in.
00:08:52So Mitchell's knocked down the first two.
00:08:55Now 22 points for Donovan Mitchell.
00:08:58Six of 13 from the field.
00:08:59He's hit four threes in all six of his free throws.
00:09:06Their last elimination game in Detroit.
00:09:09He was magnificent.
00:09:11Scoring, distributing, defending.
00:09:14And the lead has cut to 16.
00:09:16So they've knocked 13 points off what was a 29-point margin.
00:09:20Bridges on the drive.
00:09:21His floaters up.
00:09:23Missed it.
00:09:24Tips it back out.
00:09:25And an OB.
00:09:27But it went out of bounds.
00:09:30Cast ball!
00:09:33Cleveland showing some life.
00:09:34Slowly creeping back into this.
00:09:36One or two more buckets by Cleveland.
00:09:38And you can think about Mike Brown calling a timeout.
00:09:42Harden, a little shake and bait.
00:09:43Goes right at Brunson.
00:09:45Rips a pass.
00:09:46Stolen by Hart.
00:09:47Bridges and Hart.
00:09:48Two on one.
00:09:49Bridges sidestep.
00:09:50Goes inside.
00:09:51Can't get to the fall.
00:09:52And an OB the rebound.
00:09:53Out to Brunson.
00:09:54Up top Towns.
00:09:58Knicks have been one of the better offensive rebounding teams the last couple of years.
00:10:02Shot clock winding down.
00:10:04Brunson's got to put it up.
00:10:06Inside Hart.
00:10:0724-second violation.
00:10:08Good defense from Cleveland.
00:10:11And the half court.
00:10:12You can see the Knicks a little bit frustrated because the ball movement.
00:10:15David Lyle just hasn't been there.
00:10:16Their screening action that they start sets with has not been there against the zone.
00:10:23And we're going to see what their adjustment is going to be to try to get a little bit more
00:10:27pace to their half court offense.
00:10:29Knicks are one of eight from the field with two turnovers in the first three-plus minutes here in the
00:10:34third.
00:10:35They choke to Struis.
00:10:36Thought about a three.
00:10:37Now drives.
00:10:37Goes inside.
00:10:38Blocked by Towns.
00:10:40Hands off to Brunson.
00:10:43Brunson drives.
00:10:44Kicks it out on an OB.
00:10:45Thought about a three.
00:10:47Towns tries a three-pointer.
00:10:48Puts it in.
00:10:49Carl Anthony Towns is three for three from long distance.
00:10:53And Max Struis got to the body of OG Ananobi.
00:10:56Jared Allen didn't get to the body of Carl Anthony Towns.
00:10:59Mobley tries to answer.
00:11:00Cannot.
00:11:01Hart grabs yet another rebound.
00:11:04Hart had one of those games he's all over the place.
00:11:07Finds it to Ananobi.
00:11:09Jared Allen with him.
00:11:11Ananobi goes inside.
00:11:12Kicks it out.
00:11:12Bridges checks the seams.
00:11:14Fires away.
00:11:14Hits a three.
00:11:16Beautiful ball movement once again from the Knicks.
00:11:19And just like that, it's back up to 22.
00:11:22He didn't just check the seams.
00:11:24He had a chance to read that thing in plate two.
00:11:27Whatever you want.
00:11:31The NBA Eastern Conference Finals presented by Duncan are brought to you by Google.
00:11:38Miller Lite with great taste and only 96 calories.
00:11:42It's Miller time.
00:11:45And Burger King, you rule.
00:11:52By Duncan.
00:11:53Flex.
00:11:54Well, that's why it's so important to not give up penetration to the middle.
00:11:57It creates confusion on the weak side of where the rotation is going to come from.
00:12:01And Ananobi takes this basketball right at Mobley.
00:12:04So now Bridges just can drift to the corner.
00:12:07Weak side not aware.
00:12:08That's an easy kick out.
00:12:09And again, look at all that time.
00:12:39Another turnover.
00:12:41And Towns is on the boards tonight.
00:12:42He's got 13 rebounds already.
00:12:45Hart.
00:12:47Towns down the lane.
00:12:49Lefty layup.
00:12:50Banks at home.
00:12:52What a display by Carl Anthony Towns in this quarter.
00:12:55Not only the rebounding.
00:12:56Stepped out.
00:12:57Hit a three.
00:12:58And there you see him taking it strong to the hole.
00:13:00The full skill set on display.
00:13:03And Ananobi drives.
00:13:04Poked away.
00:13:05Hart picks it up.
00:13:06Brunson sets up.
00:13:08Three-pointer.
00:13:09And Ananobi with the follow.
00:13:13Once again, the Knicks with an avalanche.
00:13:15Throwing haymakers here on the third quarter.
00:13:18Oh, this is an absolute clinic.
00:13:20A ball movement, defense, communication, effort.
00:13:24There is nothing that the Knicks are not dominating the Cavs in.
00:13:28And Ananobi poked it away.
00:13:29Forced another turnover.
00:13:30Merrill fouls Brunson.
00:13:32Knicks fans going nuts here at Rocket Arena.
00:13:36And we talked about calling the first timeout.
00:13:38Cavs called the first timeout in this second half.
00:13:41And this is how the Knicks respond.
00:13:44Transition.
00:13:45Dunks.
00:13:45Extra effort.
00:13:46Look, lack of communication.
00:13:47Here's a good contest.
00:13:49And then you see Carl Anthony Towns with the left.
00:13:52He finished.
00:13:53And Knicks fans all over the country are celebrating their team being one half away from being in the NBA
00:14:00Finals.
00:14:01The iconic Radio City Music Hall.
00:14:04Rockettes aren't there tonight, but the Knicks fans are.
00:14:07Brunson.
00:14:07Wade is in the game.
00:14:09Towns looking.
00:14:10Finds Hart.
00:14:11Hart double dribble.
00:14:14He tried to get away with it.
00:14:16Tried to play it off.
00:14:17I don't blame him.
00:14:18But I tell you what, this is a great response from the Knicks because they were a little bit flat
00:14:23because of the zone.
00:14:24The lead was cut to 16.
00:14:26Offensively, the ball wasn't moving.
00:14:27Whatever was said during that last timeout, Mike Brown pushed the appropriate buttons.
00:14:32And this team came out with a renewed sense of defensive energy.
00:14:36We've seen throughout the playoffs, right after game three against Atlanta, Knicks have had the answer with everything the opponent
00:14:44has thrown at them.
00:14:45Well, when you are humming on offense and defense, you know, you try and send a box in one, a
00:14:51triangle in two at Brunson.
00:14:52But then Mikael Bridges shoots the ball well.
00:14:54Landry Shamit comes in, and he's nine for ten from three.
00:14:58So there's just not a lot of things and almost another turnover.
00:15:01Wow.
00:15:01Now, if they blow a whistle, that's not going to count.
00:15:04That's for the fans.
00:15:06That's for the fans.
00:15:07It was for the fans and a little bit for Carl Anthony Towns.
00:15:10A little bit for, okay?
00:15:11He's like, hey, let me show you all a little something.
00:15:12Y'all didn't know I could do this.
00:15:14Downs picked up his fourth foul.
00:15:23It grabs that.
00:15:24Oh, I don't like that.
00:15:26I don't.
00:15:27Don't you dare.
00:15:28No, no.
00:15:28Here's why.
00:15:29Don't you dare.
00:15:29He couldn't break toward the ball to the extent that he could have.
00:15:33He's grabbing him right there.
00:15:35He can't move toward it.
00:15:36Oh, come on.
00:15:36That's a foul.
00:15:37That's not a foul.
00:15:38You've got to man up in these situations.
00:15:40At least we still got to see that dunk.
00:15:42Yeah, okay.
00:15:42I'm going to break the tie here.
00:15:44Yes.
00:15:44No, I'm not going to do it.
00:15:46Mitchell knocks down the three.
00:15:48Donovan Mitchell, he's got 26 points.
00:15:50He's five of eight from three.
00:15:52Offensively, he has brought it tonight.
00:15:54But they are still down by 25 midway through the third.
00:15:57And they are still down by 25 midway through the third.
00:16:03And they are still down by 25 midway through the third.
00:16:04Mitchell Robinson in the game.
00:16:05Sets the screen.
00:16:06But again, they're back in that zone.
00:16:08Bridges fires a three-pointer.
00:16:11Rebound Harden.
00:16:16Mitchell against Brunson.
00:16:18Fires short.
00:16:19And Ananobi with a rebound.
00:16:22Off the turnover.
00:16:23Mitchell gets it back.
00:16:25Harden launches his three-pointer.
00:16:27Bounces around.
00:16:29And then Josh Hart comes out of the pack.
00:16:38Knicks a huge advantage on the boards.
00:16:40Plus 15.
00:16:45And Sam Merrill called for a foul.
00:16:51Not the penalty yet.
00:16:52That's the third team foul.
00:16:55Mobley's going to come back in.
00:16:57Tyson's coming in.
00:16:58As the NBA family continues its season-long celebration of America's 250th anniversary.
00:17:04This Memorial Day, we recognize the ultimate service and sacrifice of not just our nation's military,
00:17:10but their families as well.
00:17:12And please join us in honoring our brave American heroes.
00:17:205.07 remaining here in the third.
00:17:24Shamit back in.
00:17:27As is Deuce McBride.
00:17:30Whips a pass to Bridges.
00:17:31Bridges across the lane.
00:17:32Kicks it out in the corner.
00:17:33Brunson fires three-pointer.
00:17:34It's good.
00:17:3787-59.
00:17:38It's back up to 28.
00:17:39And that's twice in a row now.
00:17:41They've got dribble penetration against the zone on one side.
00:17:43And then you float on the opposite side of the floor.
00:17:46That is a tough communication and a tough closeout.
00:17:51Merrill goes backdoor.
00:17:53Try to feed it inside.
00:17:54Mobley couldn't handle a pass.
00:17:55Go the other way.
00:17:59You see the Knicks are getting that ball out quick.
00:18:02They are not necessarily like a great transition team,
00:18:05but they have been getting the ball out quick.
00:18:07And now Landry Shamit showing the entire bag.
00:18:10You want to close out to me?
00:18:11And nobody coming in to help.
00:18:13It's a 30-point lead here in game four.
00:18:16Mobley out to Merrill.
00:18:18Merrill's jump shot.
00:18:20Gets that one to go.
00:18:21Zero.
00:18:24We are watching one of the most incredible runs
00:18:27in NBA playoff history.
00:18:30Knicks going for their 11th consecutive victory.
00:18:34And they're up by 28 on the road in a closing game.
00:18:38Shamit fakes.
00:18:39Shamit drives.
00:18:40Pulls up.
00:18:41Two-pointer from Shamit.
00:18:42And Mobley with a rebound.
00:18:50Tyson.
00:18:52The impressive second-year man
00:18:53as Mobley gets the pass from Tyson.
00:18:55Mobley lays it up and in.
00:18:5711 points from Mobley.
00:19:01Every time the Cavs have made a mini-run,
00:19:03the Knicks have an answer.
00:19:09Brunson shake and fake with Harden.
00:19:11Gets into the paint.
00:19:12Back to Bridges.
00:19:13Steps back.
00:19:14Three-pointer.
00:19:15Robinson can't get it.
00:19:16Knocked out of bounds.
00:19:17Last touch by Merrill, who wants a challenge.
00:19:21Knicks will inbound.
00:19:2214 on the shot clock.
00:19:24Kenny Atkinson looking behind the bench.
00:19:28He's trying to find 20 points of offense sitting back there somewhere.
00:19:31It ain't back there.
00:19:33It is not back there.
00:19:34There's a couple names that are not walking through that door.
00:19:40Robinson looks to hand it off.
00:19:41Shamit gets it.
00:19:42Shamit back to Robinson.
00:19:44Beautiful two-man game.
00:19:45And the big man throws it down.
00:19:50For Shamit, off the bench,
00:19:52he has been such a spark in so many different ways.
00:19:55As Mobley gets inside.
00:19:56He's fouled.
00:19:56Count it and won.
00:19:58Only a chance for a three-point play.
00:20:00And we're going to have a timeout.
00:20:05Bench playing well for the Knicks.
00:20:07Landry Shamit didn't even know what his role would be
00:20:10in this series coming into it.
00:20:13He created a role for himself the way that he's played.
00:20:16And then Mitchell Robinson, what a force.
00:20:18Every now and then, give the big man a touch.
00:20:32By Google, Sweet Caroline playing here at Rocket Arena.
00:20:37And the Knicks fans really the only ones singing right now.
00:20:40As their team up 91-65.
00:20:42They've been singing all playoffs.
00:20:43The 10-game winning streak.
00:20:44It has been an historic playoff run.
00:20:47And the point differential during this streak
00:20:51is the very best in NBA history.
00:20:54And they're just winning.
00:20:55They are dominating night after night.
00:20:57It's been impressive.
00:20:58I had an opportunity to be on good teams in my career.
00:21:01We won 10 games in a row with the Nets.
00:21:04We won 10 games in a row with the Cavs.
00:21:05And none of those stretches were as dominant
00:21:08as what the New York Knicks have been in the last month.
00:21:12And it's really the way they're playing.
00:21:14Some of the most beautiful team basketball
00:21:16we've seen in a while.
00:21:18But you just don't see everybody in rhythm
00:21:21at the same time playing at this level
00:21:24where there's not an overburden on any one guy
00:21:27to have to get it done on a given night.
00:21:30Schammett three-pointer.
00:21:31Bang!
00:21:32Landry Schammett is now 12 of 13
00:21:34from three-point range
00:21:35in the Eastern Conference Finals.
00:21:40Tyson tries to answer.
00:21:42Can't get at the fall.
00:21:43Dean Wade back out Harden.
00:21:45We're under two and a half to play here in the third.
00:21:47Harden whips it.
00:21:49Tyson's going to try again.
00:21:51Cannot hit.
00:21:51And Bridges comes flying in for the rebound.
00:21:54Since we're going to have to start feeling
00:21:55a little bit probably fairly soon,
00:21:57has anybody made more money this season
00:21:59than Landry Schammett?
00:22:0192% good from the three-point line
00:22:04in the Conference Finals?
00:22:05Yeah.
00:22:06Tyson lays it up and in.
00:22:0894-67.
00:22:11Schammett another 16 points
00:22:12in 13 minutes off the bench.
00:22:19Knicks wisely now taking time off the clock.
00:22:22Even though it's the third quarter.
00:22:24Brunson falling away.
00:22:26Puts it up.
00:22:26Puts it in.
00:22:29Great balance again.
00:22:30Five different Knicks in double figures.
00:22:33Brunson with 15.
00:22:35To go with five assists.
00:22:36The very best footwork in this league
00:22:39regardless of position.
00:22:40Jalen Brunson relies on that.
00:22:43Tyson.
00:22:43Nice alley-o pass.
00:22:45And Evan Mobley able to throw it down.
00:22:4715 for Mobley.
00:22:54Off the turnover.
00:22:55Harden picks it up.
00:22:56Fires up a three.
00:22:57Can't get it.
00:22:58The tip misses.
00:22:59And Deuce McBride brings it down.
00:23:00Merrill Thornton got hit on the follow.
00:23:06And Merrill and Brunson just get tangled up.
00:23:13Merrill not happy with what he thought was a no call,
00:23:15as you can see.
00:23:16Yeah, I mean, he plays basically a grounded offensive game.
00:23:19So, if that's the case, you have to master this.
00:23:22The footwork.
00:23:23You use leverage.
00:23:25Use defenders' momentum against them.
00:23:29Under a minute to play third quarter.
00:23:37Seven on the 24.
00:23:38Brunson and Harden.
00:23:39Brunson the drive.
00:23:40Pull-up jumper.
00:23:42And the rebound goes to Harden.
00:23:45James Harden.
00:23:46Two for eight.
00:23:47Oh for six from three.
00:23:48McBride with the steal.
00:23:50Merrill fouls Brunson.
00:23:52And what appeared to be a foul.
00:23:54Brunson brings it into the front court.
00:23:58And he'll reset.
00:24:01Knicks went up 29 in the first half.
00:24:03Cats came out in the third quarter.
00:24:04Cut of the 16.
00:24:05Had a little momentum.
00:24:06And now Knicks dominating again.
00:24:09Brunson tried to get inside to Robinson.
00:24:10Shot clock winding down.
00:24:12Throws it up.
00:24:13And Robinson can't get it.
00:24:14Gets his offensive rebound.
00:24:16And then lost it to Tyson.
00:24:18Ten seconds remaining.
00:24:21Bridges with the steal but a foul.
00:24:29No, 8.6 seconds remain.
00:24:33See the Knicks talking to Mark Davis.
00:24:35They thought they shoot him in a foul earlier.
00:24:39So Bridges will shoot free throws.
00:24:44Mikel Bridges 13 more points.
00:24:47Five assists.
00:24:54Loud chant of let's go Knicks.
00:24:56There are several thousand Knicks fans.
00:24:59That made the trek from New York.
00:25:02To be here for what they hoped would be a clincher.
00:25:06Well WWE brings the chaos overseas.
00:25:09With clash in Italy.
00:25:11It all goes down Sunday at 2 Eastern.
00:25:14Streaming exclusively on ESPN.
00:25:16Don't miss a moment.
00:25:18Watch it live on the ESPN app.
00:25:19With the ESPN Unlimited Planet.
00:25:21Always wanted to do that.
00:25:22And now you have.
00:25:24Now you have Mike.
00:25:26Killed it.
00:25:26Who's your favorite Mike?
00:25:28Why would you?
00:25:29Oh.
00:25:31Mine is Rhea Ripley.
00:25:33She's my favorite.
00:25:34Yeah, yeah.
00:25:35That's my guy.
00:25:37She is my favorite.
00:25:38Look at the words out of my mouth.
00:25:40Pull that one, RJ.
00:25:43Mitchell on the drive.
00:25:44Goes inside.
00:25:46Lefty layup.
00:25:46Backs it home.
00:25:47And the foul.
00:25:49Mitchell.
00:25:52Mitchell now with 28 points.
00:25:57Donovan Mitchell.
00:25:58His attack has been very consistent.
00:26:01And just dribbling that ball.
00:26:03That's very, very difficult to keep a defender on your hip.
00:26:06Bring that ball up and not even have it come together.
00:26:10He's played a solid game.
00:26:12But he just.
00:26:13There hasn't been enough juice for his team.
00:26:15The points.
00:26:15The scoring.
00:26:16The efficiency is there.
00:26:17But the juice has not been there for the Cavs.
00:26:19Mitchell was announced yesterday.
00:26:22All-NBA second team.
00:26:23Third time All-NBA.
00:26:24But right now he could care less about that.
00:26:26He just.
00:26:27Wanted to get some wins.
00:26:29Able to get to his first conference final this year.
00:26:32With some great playoff performances.
00:26:35But right now his team down 27.
00:26:37With just over a quarter to go.
00:26:39By the way, Jalen Brunson also NBA All-second team.
00:26:46This is the second part.
00:26:47The rebound.
00:26:49And the third quarter comes to an end.
00:26:51Another dominant performance from the Knicks.
00:26:55Looking for their 11th straight playoff win.
00:26:57And they're now one quarter away.
00:27:00From getting to the NBA Finals.
00:27:02For the first time in 27 years.
00:27:05Time to celebrate.
00:27:12Time to celebrate.
00:27:15Time to celebrate.
00:27:16Time to celebrate.
00:27:17Time to celebrate.
00:27:20Time to celebrate.
00:27:21Time to celebrate.
00:27:23Time to celebrate.
00:27:26Time to celebrate.
00:27:27Time to celebrate.
00:27:28Time to celebrate.
00:27:29Time to celebrate.
00:27:32Time to celebrate.
00:27:32Time to celebrate.
00:27:34Time to celebrate.

00:33:47And the Knicks fans celebrating
00:33:56The New York Knicks defensive pressure has been a huge story in this series once again out on the run
00:34:06The NBA Eastern Conference Finals are presented by Duncan when your morning tip off with coffee and breakfast at Duncan
00:34:13and in part by Google and back rooms in theaters everywhere May 29th get tickets rated R.
00:34:27Epic performance in a clinching game.
00:34:30First round against Atlanta destroyed the Hawks in Atlanta then destroyed the Sixers in Philadelphia and now destroying the Cavs
00:34:40here in Cleveland.
00:34:41Yeah, starters have been pulled
00:34:42Yeah, starters have been pulled
00:34:43T.O.D. 10-14 Eastern Standard Time
00:34:47This series looks like it's over
00:34:50And still eight minutes to go
00:34:51You just don't expect the playoff games to pull with eight minutes to go
00:34:55By the way, Jalen Brunson is not going to play a second in the fourth quarter
00:34:58He hasn't played a fourth quarter in any of the clinching games that they've had
00:35:05Shot clock at seven
00:35:07Looks like Bride leads in, tough shot, gets it a go. Everything going down for the Knicks
00:35:14Mike Brown's asking a foul to try and get some players out
00:35:21And there's the foul. It's gonna bring in Mo Diawara
00:35:25Ariel up 40
00:35:28And Tyler Kolick will come in. Shamit's gonna sit. Shamit. 16 more points
00:35:33McBride. Terrific performance. He had 11. The Knicks fans, Channing
00:35:54Bryant, Porter, Proctor
00:35:57There's a turnover. Here comes Kolick. Kolick's become the third string point guard
00:36:02Left-handed. Can't get it to go. Keon Ellis will bring it the other way
00:36:07And a lot of the Cavs fans will head for the exits now
00:36:11Tyson misses that but the Knicks fans are certainly gonna stay
00:36:15Until the final buzzer
00:36:24And you think back right now, in terms of this series, what happened in game one changed everything. Knicks were
00:36:30down 22 with seven and a half to go
00:36:33And one of the great comebacks in NBA playoff history
00:36:37And you wonder how much that took out of the Cleveland Cavaliers
00:36:40The Cavaliers who had obviously had two previous series that were so emotional
00:36:44Both physically and mentally
00:36:48As a foul called and right now, there's nobody happier in this crowd than Leon Rose
00:36:53The Knick president
00:36:56And the job that he has done in new york when he took over in march of 2020
00:37:01The team was 18 and 42 the season ended they were 21 and 45. They won 17 games the year
00:37:08before
00:37:09He hired tom thibodeau and they went 41 and 31 the first year
00:37:12Then he acquired brunson acquired heart acquired ananobi acquired
00:37:17Carl anthony towns acquired mikhail bridges. He acquired all five starters
00:37:22And they have now turned into a championship contender and more so than just acquiring starters
00:37:27He acquired five winners guys that played basketball the right way that the nba is a very confusing
00:37:33You can get talent together, but if you don't put together
00:37:36Multiple groups of players that are willing to sacrifice and play at a high level you'll be treading water forever
00:37:42And it starts with brunson
00:37:43It starts with finding that guy that you can build everything around you know his leadership
00:37:48But more importantly his production and his consistency
00:37:52With which he does it the way he plays in the biggest moments
00:37:55Once you have that now you can start to figure out how you want to build out your roster
00:38:01And they've built a team that is complete and they can beat you in a number of ways
00:38:08Jordan clarkson another pickup this year has been great off the bench had some great stretches in the regular season
00:38:13some excellent playoff games
00:38:17As we come up on a halfway point
00:38:20And again, you see how
00:38:23Another turnover dotty a
00:38:25Goes inside. He's fouled by tomlin
00:38:28You see the knicks fans traveling all around to go to games. They're so hungry. They're so passionate
00:38:33you have to understand what it means to be a knick fan from
00:38:372002 to
00:38:382020 there were a lot of dark days and in that time 19 seasons
00:38:42The knicks won seven total playoff games seven total games in 19 years since jaylen brunson's arrival
00:38:50They've won 33 and it makes sense you look at jaylen brunson
00:38:54They brought in jaylen brunson coming off a conference finals in dallas
00:38:58He had proven that he wanted to be a part of a winner and it for me when you put
00:39:04together that group
00:39:05It's been impressive because it's been
00:39:0620 years of the knicks trying to put together this group
00:39:10He has been
00:39:11one of the all-time in nba history
00:39:15clutch performers in the postseason and you wondered at the time when he came to new york
00:39:19There was some talk you know
00:39:20Is that too much money for jaylen brunson at that time now the bargain of the century?
00:39:25Whatever that guy's making for what he has done for this franchise
00:39:28Well when he signed the hundred million dollar deal thoughts with it the knicks overpaid
00:39:34Go look out to dotty a
00:39:38Nice move with the left hand the interesting thing at jaylen brunson's introductory press conference
00:39:43He said i'm not a savior in any way shape or form
00:39:46There are a lot of fans in new york who will dispute that every savior always says they're not a
00:39:51savior
00:39:54Tomlin banks it back home
00:40:03Clarkson trying to draw a foul as bryant gets the rebound
00:40:09Meanwhile for cleveland this is going to be a very difficult disappointing ending to what was a really strong season
00:40:16with some great playoff moments
00:40:18And they just had nothing left after that collapse in game one
00:40:22They had the great game seven win in toronto the great game five and game seven wins in detroit first
00:40:27time
00:40:28In the conference finals in eight years
00:40:31But everything changed
00:40:33In game one of the garden
00:40:36Donovan mitchell meanwhile with
00:40:38A 31 point game and again do they run it back do they make big changes
00:40:44Of course they acquired harden mid-season
00:40:47And we're hoping to go to the playoffs they had ups and downs
00:40:50Do they need that?
00:40:52continuity there's going to be a lot of decision-making for kobe aldman and at the time
00:40:56I think rj you and I agreed it was worth it to take the risk to trade for james hard
00:41:02because of his ability to make plays
00:41:03For the other guys on this roster fit what he does as a playmaker
00:41:07And you feel for these guys now particularly mitchell
00:41:10Getting to the conference finals. We talked so much about it finally getting there
00:41:15And to go out like this has got to be a difficult feeling for him
00:41:21And to go out like this is a good game
00:41:22Kolek quickly throws it up and puts it in
00:41:25The fans chanting for the bench players
00:41:29Kolek had some good moments
00:41:31Hey, chalamet
00:41:32Chalamet and kolek both look like they're like so young as dor against the rebound well mike compared to us
00:41:39they are
00:41:40I'm glad you said us because you didn't want to say I didn't want to say
00:41:44I'm just glad you didn't say you guys that would have made me upset i'll save that bullet for next
00:41:49time
00:41:51Everybody knocking down threes
00:41:54It's party time for the nick fans here in cleveland
00:41:57It's tough if you're a calves fan
00:42:03Again you think back of those that great victory in game seven they blew out the pistons
00:42:08As thomas bryant knocks down the three and the calves are one of the very unique teams this season
00:42:13Because for them it was conference finals it was championship or bust they had the highest payroll
00:42:19They added james harted and they hadn't been to an eastern conference finals
00:42:23So for them you feel like there was a level of progression
00:42:26But was it enough wasn't enough progression to say hey, this is our team moving forward to me
00:42:32Some of the other series that went to seven were unnecessary. They didn't need to do that
00:42:37They didn't have the right energy the right focus and then you get here against an elite team
00:42:42And you see it kind of transpire in the worst type of way
00:42:45So they do have a lot of questions and they're gonna have to find some answers
00:42:50The other the knicks in the last four years they've experienced some exhilarating playoff wins and some brutal deflating losses
00:42:58This is a really battle-tested group
00:43:01That have learned what it takes to win night in and night out
00:43:04In the nba postseason is polack having a grand old time out there
00:43:08patrick ewing
00:43:10Of course on the knicks final team in 94 that lost to the rockets he was on the roster didn't
00:43:16play in 99
00:43:17But was with the team when they lost to the spurs
00:43:22And one thing we can agree on
00:43:24It's called like let's it fly again the trifecta he's going for we can agree on this
00:43:29Whoever comes out of the western conference san atonia or oklahoma city
00:43:34Certainly a bigger challenge more formidable test for this new york nick team
00:43:38But they can't possibly be feeling any better about themselves
00:43:42As they go now get ready for this layoff and wait to see who they're going to play oh
00:43:46They're waiting for that to go to seven go seven beat each other up
00:43:49Hit banged up and the knicks will be able to be rested and waiting
00:43:53We'll take a timeout two minutes and 22 seconds left before the celebration will begin
00:44:09The crowd actually affected away team during the playoffs
00:44:13Well not tonight it did although
00:44:16The loud crowd was mostly for the road team
00:44:20Now this was the last time the knicks made the finals they defeated of course the larry johnson famous four
00:44:25-point play they defeated the pacers in six games
00:44:29Alan houston luttrell's free love they were the eighth seed that year had that miracle finish in the first round
00:44:35against miami
00:44:36And then in the conference finals defeated the pacers jeff van gundy did a masterful job
00:44:42As head coach and went on to the nba finals where they played
00:44:46The san antonio spurs and lost in five games
00:44:50And a number of the old knicks are there if you want to dive deeper into this or any nba
00:44:54playoffs topic ask ai mode in google search
00:44:59Now in that
00:45:01Knick team in 99 rick brunson played 10 seconds in the finals
00:45:05He was the third string point guard
00:45:07He is now the assistant coach and father of jalen brunson who was not yet three years old the last
00:45:14time the knicks made the nba finals
00:45:20We still got two and a half minutes to go legs what you got
00:45:24What's waiting on you
00:45:28Is this that phil you were talking about earlier yeah, we were talking about landry shaman on a non-guarantee
00:45:34and he's having one of the best
00:45:35playoffs
00:45:37From a player in his position a player that has to come out and impact he's earned himself some money
00:45:43Now court he throws it now. This is their sixth consecutive road win
00:45:48And every of the every one of these road wins have been by double figures
00:45:52The knicks will go to 12 and 2 in the playoffs the two losses
00:45:56Each by one point to the hawks because of the cj mccullum shot
00:46:01You know what mike the reason for that defense and balance travel
00:46:05Those two things because you go on the road you're not relying on one guy that has to play great
00:46:10when you're getting it from everybody
00:46:13Dottie fires away. This is going to be the next sixth finals appearance of course
00:46:17Three times in the 70s against the lakers. They won two of them in 1773 loss in 72
00:46:23Then the 94 and 99 teams
00:46:30There's going to be a lot of celebration
00:46:32Here tonight with the fans and certainly throughout new york and they'll get a long break
00:46:37once again like they did between the semis and the conference finals
00:46:42I know a lot of conversation has been about whoever comes out of the west should be favored
00:46:47I don't know if those people have been watching this nick team for the last 10 11 games
00:46:51Whoever they play if they're able to hold on whoever they play in the nba finals
00:46:58It's going to be a battle. It's going to be a matchup
00:47:00Now the knicks you can see the joy, but they also know the job is not done
00:47:04They they obviously wanted to get to the finals, but they keep talking about
00:47:08A championship that's colic gets in there off balance shots good. How about colic?
00:47:13Eight points in seven minutes off the bench
00:47:19Nick steamroll another opponent
00:47:22In a season that was filled with a lot of pressure. It was finals or bust
00:47:27And they're headed to the nba finals
00:47:34Again the balance offensively
00:47:37The tenacity on the defense
00:47:40This is one of the great playoff runs
00:47:43In nba history not just the fact that they've won so many games in a row
00:47:48But how dominant they've been in so many of them
00:47:54They'll take the shot clock violation now the calves will dribble it out
00:47:59Jalen brunson we've said it over and over again has changed the direction and the perception
00:48:05of the dick franchise
00:48:09And proctor will just dribble it out chance of let's go knicks
00:48:14It's over believe it nick fans for the first time in 27 years
00:48:18The new york knicks are going to the nba finals
00:48:21The dream season continues
00:48:24And hopes of ending a decades-long championship drought are very much alive
00:48:36That's not good for the last five
00:48:45The
00:48:46mutual respect
00:48:47And the brotherhood you see at the end of these series is always so impressive
00:48:51It is, and that's why they always talk.
00:48:54You don't talk in between series.
00:48:55You want to make sure that that barrier is there.
00:48:58But once the series has been decided, you respect everyone as a competitor.
00:49:02You know their journey is similar to yours.
00:49:05And so I will tell you, there's a lot of times you've given teams dabs of you said,
00:49:09hey, go win it.
00:49:10Go finish the journey.
00:49:12Right?
00:49:12You wish them the best as they move forward, and it's a very competitive moment.
00:49:15And I know, Mike, you said they're not done yet.
00:49:18In their mind, they want to finish it off.
00:49:19But, man, when you've got this much time, you can have a hell of a celebration
00:49:23while you're waiting for the finals to start.
00:49:2511 consecutive victories, back-to-back sweeps.
00:49:29One of the most remarkable runs in NBA playoff history continues.
00:49:33The final score, 130-93.
00:49:37Lots more coming up for the trophy presentation.
00:49:41For our producer, Phil Dean, director Mike Schwab, Legs and RJ and Lisa,
00:49:45our entire ESPN crew, Mike Green sing.
00:49:48Stay tuned for the Eastern Conference Champion Trophy Ceremony after the break.
00:49:52We'll get you to inside the NBA.
00:50:02We welcome you back inside Studio J,
00:50:06where we will be recapping in just a bit on inside,
00:50:10the Knicks' 130-93 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers,
00:50:16completing a clean sweep.
00:50:17And it has been an unbelievably historic run.
00:50:21Three closeout games by 51-30 and 37.
00:50:27The New York Knicks have earned their way into the NBA Finals,
00:50:31and now there's Eastern Conference hardware to hand out.
00:50:35We go to Sean Pebbles, the Cavs, PA announcer.
00:50:43Fans, now for the presentation of the 2026 NBA Eastern Conference Finals Trophies,
00:50:50please welcome ESPN's Lisa Salters.
00:50:58The Eastern Conference Championship Trophy is named after one of the greatest NBA players of all time,
00:51:04Bob Cousy.
00:51:06Here to present the Bob Cousy Trophy to the Eastern Conference Champion New York Knicks
00:51:11are two Knicks legends, two-time champion and Hall of Famer, Walt Clyde Frazier.
00:51:21And Hall of Famer and Knicks all-time leading scorer, Patrick Ewing.
00:51:52Jalen, come on over for me.
00:51:57Jalen, the last time the Knicks went to the NBA Finals, you weren't even three years old.
00:52:03Your dad was on the team.
00:52:05Just tell me, what does it mean to you to be leading the franchise back to the NBA Finals?
00:52:10I mean, it means a lot, but I mean, I wouldn't be here without my teammates.
00:52:13The belief they had in me, this coaching staff, this organization, this fan base.
00:52:17I mean, without them, none of this is possible.
00:52:20Don't go too far away.
00:52:21I have a feeling I'm going to be talking to you more.
00:52:23But let me talk to your head coach.
00:52:25Mike Brown?
00:52:26Mike.
00:52:27Coach Brown?
00:52:28Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike!
00:52:32Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike!
00:52:35Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike!
00:52:38Mike, just what makes this Knicks team so special?
00:52:43It's just the players, the players that we've assembled, or Mr. Dolan and Leon, they're just
00:52:53great, great human beings, and they're obviously fantastic basketball players.
00:52:59You had everyone on the team, everyone involved with the association, you had them sign an accountability
00:53:05contract at the very beginning of the season.
00:53:07How has this team lived up to the tenets of that contract?
00:53:11In a lot of different ways.
00:53:13You know, people always ask me to compare the teams that I've been with to the finals,
00:53:16and the only way I knew how to do it, because they're different human beings, was to put
00:53:20some intangibles up there.
00:53:22Every single one of the guys on the team has sacrificed.
00:53:25Every single one of the guys on the team has a competitive spirit.
00:53:28Every single one of the guys on the team's connected.
00:53:30Every single one of the guys believe in each other and the process, and they all hold
00:53:35me and each other accountable.
00:53:37Just a heck of a group.
00:53:38Heck of a group.
00:53:39Thank you, Mike.
00:53:40Congratulations to you.
00:53:44Now for that other trophy.
00:53:46The Eastern Conference Finals Most Valuable Player Trophy is aptly named after one of the
00:53:52greatest players in NBA history, Larry Bird.
00:53:55And to do the honors, let's welcome back Walt Clyde Frazier.
00:53:59Walt, where are you?
00:54:00And Patrick Ewing.
00:54:01Gentlemen, and the winner, the winner of the Larry Bird Trophy, the 2026 Eastern Conference
00:54:13Finals Most Valuable Player by unanimous decision, Jalen Bruns.
00:54:42Jalen Bruns, your teammates always talk about how you make them better.
00:54:46Just how have they helped you become this Conference Finals MVP?
00:54:54They give me the confidence.
00:54:56They let me be me.
00:54:58I think most importantly, we all believe in each other from top to bottom.
00:55:05It's an honor to play with them, honestly.
00:55:07What are you, Jalen?
00:55:08What are you most proud of about this group collectively?
00:55:13Our resilience.
00:55:14I think that we've been able to stay focused, stay composed.
00:55:19It starts at the top of the organization.
00:55:21It starts with Mr. Dolan, front office, coaches all the way down to us.
00:55:24I mean, like I said, from top to bottom, it means something.
00:55:28Congratulations to you, Jalen.
00:55:29Now I'm going to talk to some of your teammates.
00:55:31Kat.
00:55:32Come on over, Kat.
00:55:34Come on, Kat.
00:55:41And I appreciate you always bending down to talk to me.
00:55:44But this is the third consecutive Conference Finals for you.
00:55:48Just what does it feel like to finally get over the hump?
00:55:52Man, it's an honor to be able to do this back in the team that I grew up cheering for
00:55:57my whole entire life.
00:55:58So to have Patrick Ewing, Clyde, everybody here, to have the greatest fans in the NBA show up here on
00:56:05the road
00:56:06and for them to give us this kind of love everywhere we go in the world,
00:56:10we couldn't have asked for a better feeling.
00:56:12Now the message was clear from the beginning of the season for you guys that finals or busts.
00:56:17You guys all said you were okay with that.
00:56:19Why was there no pressure involved with that?
00:56:22Because we had different expectations for ourselves.
00:56:24We knew that our team was capable of doing this.
00:56:26So all we had to do was just put the work in, continue to believe in each other,
00:56:30continue to sacrifice, continue to believe in the man above.
00:56:33We'll take care of the rest.
00:56:34And that's what we did, and that's why we're here right now with the Strokeman.
00:56:37Thank you, Kat.
00:56:37Congratulations to you.
00:56:38I want to talk to Josh.
00:56:40Josh, come on over with me.
00:56:42Josh!
00:56:43Josh!
00:56:47Josh!
00:56:48Yeah, always.
00:56:50Josh, you and Jalen are very good friends, and he doesn't like to talk about himself.
00:56:56But I know you guys go way back.
00:56:59Just what does his leadership mean to this team?
00:57:03It's vital for us.
00:57:05You know, he's even-keeled.
00:57:06He doesn't let us get too high, too low.
00:57:07Even games like this, we're up 15, 20.
00:57:10He wants to make sure that, you know, we'll double down on our habits and, you know,
00:57:15playing this game to win.
00:57:16So it's huge.
00:57:17Words like selfless, we'll do whatever it takes.
00:57:20You hear that a lot in sports, but it's not always the reality.
00:57:24Just what makes this team different?
00:57:27I think it's just, you know, the high-character guys that we have.
00:57:31Everybody wants each other to be successful.
00:57:34Everybody's willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team.
00:57:37And when you do that, man, that's the making of a great team.
00:57:41You hear that?
00:57:42You're in the other team's building.
00:57:45It's New York, man.
00:57:46And Sham, we got to give Sham a big shout-out, man.
00:57:49He played huge these four games.
00:57:53Great defense.
00:57:54You know, huge shots, big shots.
00:58:00And everywhere we go, like the guard is.
00:58:02So, man, shout-out to the fans.
00:58:04Thank you, and congratulations to you, Josh.
00:58:06Congratulations once again to the 2026 Eastern Conference champions,
00:58:11the New York Knicks, and Conference Finals MVP, Jaylon Bronson.
00:58:20Mike Brink, back to you.
00:58:23First Conference Finals in 27 years.
00:58:26Now, next up, the Knicks hope to end the championship drought.
00:58:30They haven't won a title since 1973.
00:58:34In 53 years, they lost in 72, 94, 99.
00:58:38And I can't forget, they also lost three finals back in the 50s,
00:58:42in the early days of the NBA.
00:58:44But this team is certainly, as we said over and over again,
00:58:49in the midst of one of the great playoff runs.
00:58:51So, look ahead, guys.
00:58:53Oklahoma City and San Antonio.
00:58:56Still to be determined, obviously.
00:58:58But the Knicks have shown that they can beat anybody right now.
00:59:01No, I said it right at the end of the game.
00:59:04So much conversation has been about the Knicks and, or, excuse me, OKC and San Antonio.
00:59:10The two juggernauts in the Western Conference.
00:59:12And they believe that the Eastern Conference has been good but not as great.
00:59:16If you have not been watching this Knick team,
00:59:18then you don't fully understand that they are not only capable of winning a championship,
00:59:22but they're also capable of doing it in spectacular fashion.
00:59:25I think, Mike, the narrative was during the season,
00:59:28whoever wins the West, foregone conclusion, that's your champion.
00:59:31This team has changed the narrative now.
00:59:33We wanted to see who from the Eastern Conference could come together
00:59:37and be good enough on both ends of the floor
00:59:40that you could look at one of those two teams in the West and say,
00:59:43we have a team in East that can match up with them.
00:59:46It's the New York Knicks.
00:59:48Well, they were so fresh coming into this with the time off
00:59:52between the previous sweep against Philadelphia.
00:59:54And it looks like San Antonio and OKC might go the distance.
00:59:58There's certainly a possibility of that.
01:00:00They'll be fresh again next week.
01:00:02They'll be fresh.
01:00:02And we saw it in that first, the first half of game one.
01:00:06They were a little rusty.
01:00:08They figured out, ultimately had that historic comeback to win.
01:00:11So they're going to be rested, and then it doesn't matter, six, seven,
01:00:15whatever that series is, we see how physical it is in OKC and San Antonio.
01:00:19So those teams are going to be battled.
01:00:21They're going to be tested.
01:00:22But the Knicks are going to be rested.
01:00:24And a lot of their fans here in the building at Rocket Arena.
01:00:28The Knicks get their second straight sweep
01:00:32and are back in the NBA Finals.
01:00:34Smiles, joy, and there will be celebration tonight once again
01:00:39for our wonderful ESPN crew.
01:00:44Thanks once again for watching.
01:00:46We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:49We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:51We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:52We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:54We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:55We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:56We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:58We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:00:59We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
01:01:00We're going to send it to Atlanta and Ernie Johnson.
