00:05Captain, thank you for joining us today.
00:07My first question is, what exactly is the role of the Unified Security Operations Center in Mecca during Hajj?
00:13Well, the Unified Security Operations Center 9-1-1 in Mecca region is a part of the National Center of
00:20Security Operations.
00:21The role of this center is to answer all the calls via the number 9-1-1,
00:26whether those calls were security related or services related or humanitarian related.
00:34We get almost 35,000 calls a day.
00:38How fast can calls be transferred and how is the system able to respond so quickly during such a busy
00:43period?
00:44Well, we made sure in the center that we have the most advanced technologies,
00:48starting with the system we use to answer all the calls we get in less than two seconds.
00:54As soon as we get a call, the main information shows up, like the information of the caller and the
01:02location of the caller.
01:04After that, if there was a report, we will send it directly throughout the system to the specialized entities,
01:11whether this entity was a security or governmental or services entities.
01:16The role of the center is not just about answering calls.
01:20We also have a hall called the CCTV hall, and their job is to monitor the CCTV cameras.
01:28And during Hajj season, we focus more on the holy sites and the holy mosque and the checkpoints leading to
01:37Mecca al-Mukarram.
01:38And how does the 911 system coordinate between police, ambulance, civil defense and other authorities?
01:45We have in the center more than 20 agencies working side by side.
01:51We have security agencies.
01:53We have governmental agencies like the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Transportation.
01:58We also have some services entities.
02:01All of those entities working under one roof to make sure that we provide the best services to the guests
