03:13The entire building already had opinions of me before I even came.
03:18She was very much aware who her father was in the shadow of that cast.
03:22And she felt, I think, a lot of pressure to measure up to the Flair name.
03:28Tonight's a special night for me because my daughter, Charlotte, is debuting tonight.

03:41Charlotte's really, really just dominant in that regard.

04:40Becky, she had some self-doubt and she had some questions.

04:45And you could see that there was so much potential.
04:49I was having some struggles and Charlotte went out of her way to be kind to me when I didn't
04:55always feel like I fit in.
05:01Maybe Charlotte saw the pressure that I was putting myself under and maybe she felt that same pressure with being

05:13I don't think I really had a first impression other than there's another girl that, you know, is really hungry,

05:24We were just innocent and happy to be there.
05:28Was willing to put herself out there in promo class.

14:48These two brands have completely different rosters, completely different television shows, and completely different live event schedules.
14:55So, if you go on one show or the other, odds are you won't see the superstars on the other
15:01show for potentially months at a time.
15:05I think what a draft does, it gives you a storyline reason to split people up and give people opportunities
15:10that they normally wouldn't have.

33:43I just remember the feeling of that air in my lungs and the specialness of the night.
33:51Any one of us could have walked out champion.
33:54The crowd was just eating up everything.
33:57But there's Becky at the end, with both titles.
34:03I just had this cockiness that I really enjoyed for that night.
34:17That was supposed to be the end of me and Charlotte.
34:20For an entire year, we wrestled at every single pay-per-view on the run-up to WrestleMania.
34:26I apologize for going so harsh because I knew that it hurt her feelings and I knew it crossed lines.
34:34She had sent this long text during COVID.
34:37She was just like, I'm sorry if I hurt you in any way.
34:40And it was very sincere.
34:42It felt like we were done with that chapter and going to move on to another.
34:49But we weren't, were we?
34:52The annual WWE draft happened again in 2021.
34:57Charlotte gets drafted from Raw to SmackDown while she's the Raw Women's Champion.
35:03And Becky gets drafted from SmackDown to Raw while she's the SmackDown Women's Champion.
35:09Right here, right now, we are going to exchange the championships.
35:14And you two will go to your respective new brands as the Women's Champion.
35:19They had a very specific way.
35:21They wanted to do this exchange and they wanted me to have the two belts.
35:26Maybe instead of a title exchange tonight, Becky two belts makes a comeback.
35:32When Becky asked for the title, I was supposed to hand Becky the title so she could go like this
35:38in my face and hold up both titles.
35:40I had been extremely adamant not understanding why Charlotte's character would stand there as the good guy and just hand
35:49over the title.
35:50I was supposed to just grab it out of her hands and then I'm like on Becky two belts.
35:55And I remember her saying, well, I'm going to pull it up in the air.
35:58And I was like, no, you're not supposed to know that I'm grabbing it.
36:03I don't know if she thought I look too cool.
36:05She looked bad or something like that.
36:07But then before we go out, I go, she's going to drop that title.
36:14Becky asked Charlotte to relinquish the championship first.
36:18The Raw Women's title.
36:30So then when she goes like this and I have to reach it.
36:33I'm just going off.
36:34I knew you were going to do this.
36:36And you're just doing this to make me look like crap.
36:41The title dropped.
36:43I didn't drop it on purpose.
36:46Like I literally would have dropped.
36:47I was like, oh, like, I like picked it up immediately.
36:54If anyone knows how important the title is to me, I would never be dismissive of the title.
37:02And the way that it was presented that I did.
37:07And so that got me really, really upset.
37:15I lost it.
37:17I lost it.
37:21Becky leaves, walked backstage and Becky's just screaming at me.
37:27She came back and she was like, it was an accident already.
37:31What did I say?
37:33Did I say she was going to do that on purpose?
37:35And I just remember going, you are an idiot.
37:39Being called a cunt and screaming at me in front of everybody.
37:44It just felt so personal.
37:46I remember thinking, how could their friendship get so bad?
37:51And now they can't even work together properly.
37:56When I say Charlotte Flair, what's the first thing that comes to your mind?
38:00Bitch.
38:10Regardless of whatever people want to think, that the title was dropped on purpose or not on purpose, I know
38:18no one's better than me.
38:20And when I face her at Survivor Series, they're going to know that Charlotte Flair is the best damn female
38:24wrestler in the world.
38:26As pissed off as I was, I could still see the dollar signs of this real life animosity being something
38:32that people would pay money to see us beat the ever living crap out of each other for.
38:36Now, in hindsight, like, people were so excited for Survivor Series, kind of glad it happened.
38:43No matter what the justification or right or wrong of it is, it adds to the effect of that's a
38:48great part of the storyline. It just happens to be real.
38:52The last time those two were in the ring together, things got, let's just say, a bit contentious.
39:02I don't know how I am the bad. I genuinely mean this. I do not know how I am the
39:07bad guy.
39:08I don't like who she's become. She doesn't like who I've become.
39:11This is the culmination of our entire careers, and it truly is who is the better woman.
39:18She can use me to tell whatever narrative, to be the hero, to be this, to be cheered, to be
39:24liked, to pander.
39:24I don't pander. I am who I am. I'm Charlotte Flair.
39:30What an atmosphere here tonight as we kick off the match between the SmackDown Women's Champion and the Raw Women's
39:36Champion.
39:36And I challenge you to find a rivalry on Raw, on SmackDown, as deeply personal and volatile as the two
39:44Women's Champions.
39:45It felt like there was something real playing. You're caught up in what personally may be going on behind the
39:52scenes.

40:05This needed to look real, so it needed to look like a fight, which it was.

40:16The fans sometimes don't know, when it's her and I, what's real and what's not.
40:23And it's Charlotte Flair with a moonsault!
40:27Everybody backstage wanted to watch that match, and everybody at home wanted to watch that match, because they knew there
40:33was this real-life animosity between the two of them, and it made for a great match.
40:37These are the greatest ever!
40:39In this match, it is all about pride and ego.
40:43Hit her with a double! Moonsault!
40:45What a move by Charlotte! A kick out by Lynch!
40:48We've always blurred the lines, and that's what happens when you are facing your best friend.
40:54Roll up! Charlotte's got the ropes! Charlotte's got the ropes to the rep corner!
40:57And now Lynch rolls through!
41:00Becky's got the ropes! Becky's got the ropes! The rep didn't see it!
41:03Not like that! That match was too good to end like that!
41:08But what an incredible match!
41:12They both went in with a chip on their shoulder, and it just, I don't know, that match was just
41:17fantastic.
41:17I think they're the best match ever together.
41:20I like wrestling with lots of animosity.
41:23What's the conflict? Why do I hate this person?
41:26But real life, no matter what we've gone through, I think there's a large part of me that has nothing
41:33but love for Charlotte and wishes her the best.
41:40I love Becky, and my career wouldn't be where it is today had I not been a part of her
41:45journey.
41:46We push each other, and we know each other, and we love each other.
41:50Whenever you can mend fences, whenever you don't have to feel the weight and the burden of hatred,
41:58whenever you can rid yourself of that, it's such a beautiful, freeing thing.
42:06And once again, long time rivals! Becky Lynch and Charlotte reconciling here! What a moment!
42:14I think both of them have regret about the way they acted towards each other.
42:19I think when you have all those experiences, you have all that history, and there was always a deep love

42:25They just needed to find it again.
