00:08A heat wave, there's a heat wave.
00:10There is a heat wave.
00:11All right.
00:12Anything new on Iran?
00:14We're still a work in progress, as I said, we thought we might have some news
00:19last night, maybe today.
00:20I wouldn't read too much into it, it takes a little while to hear back.
00:23So we have what I think is a pretty solid thing on the table in terms of their
00:28ability to open up the straits, get the straits open, enter into a very real, significant,
00:33time-limited negotiation on the nuclear matters.
00:35And hopefully we can pull it off.
00:37It has a lot of support in the Gulf, it has a lot of support globally.
00:40Every country that we've walked through it understands it's not just very reasonable,
00:44but it's the right thing for the world to get done.
00:46As the President said, he's not in a hurry, he's not going to make a bad deal.
00:49I mean, the President's not going to make a bad agreement.
00:51So let's see what happens.
00:53We're going to give diplomacy every chance to succeed before we explore the alternatives.
00:58Look, the President's not going to make a bad deal, he's just not.
01:01This issue, no one has done more, and no one has been more serious about the threat of
01:06nuclear Iran than President Trump has been.
01:09And so I'm very confident, and we should all be very confident that we're either going
01:12to have a good agreement or we're going to have to deal with it another way.
01:15We'd prefer to have a good agreement.
01:17Lebanon, we're working on separately.
01:18With Lebanon, we are engaged now, we have a 45-day ceasefire, we've had weekly meetings
01:22now and ongoing daily engagements between the government of Lebanon and Israel.
01:28The problem is not Lebanon and Israel, the problem is Hezbollah.
01:30Just last night, Hezbollah put out a statement calling for the overthrow of the Lebanese government.
01:35And it just reminds you of who you are dealing with here.
01:38By the way, an Iranian proxy, 100% Iranian proxy.
01:40And as long as Lebanon exists with armaments, as long as an armed Lebanon, as long as an
01:46armed Hezbollah exists, it's going to be hard to achieve peace in Lebanon.
01:50Well, Israel always has a right to protect itself.
01:52Every country in the world does.
01:54And so if Hezbollah is going to launch missiles or launches missiles at them, Israel has every
01:58right to respond to that or to prevent that from happening.
02:00That's always been understood.
02:02It's been understood during the ceasefire, and now in Lebanon, and it will be understood
02:06beyond that.
02:07All right, let's fly.
02:09Thank you very much.
