Released in the 1980s by Seiko Group, the Seiko TV Watch was one of the most futuristic gadgets of its time.

The watch connected to a small external receiver and could display actual television broadcasts right on your wrist. 🤯

At a time when most watches only showed the time, this felt like science fiction becoming real.

The device even appeared in the Octopussy movie worn by James Bond, making it even more iconic.

But despite the incredible idea:
• The screen was tiny
• The setup was bulky
• Battery life and technology were limited

Still, it proved that wearable technology existed decades before the Apple Watch era.
